Introducing a new, visually engaging way of presenting grammar. Appealing to the senses and the emotions with colour, texture, humour and drama, this book seeks to make the subject of grammar not only more intelligible to more people, but more memorable.

Anyone who wants to understand the mechanics of language more clearly should read this book! As a primary school teacher I will use this resource to further my own understanding of grammar and enable me to teach it better. It's the best guide I've come across and has so much detail articulated through Riddle's characteristically gorgeous artwork. Highly recommended.
Clear, concise and precise; this is the grammar book I have been waiting for. Best of all, it has two pages, and only two, of verb tenses and aspects. This is the one area I am always trying to clarify and that most books don't cover. The illustrations are perfect, and the sentence examples are literary. The perfect book for this grammar nerd.
Thoroughly enjoyed this whimsical, illustrated overview of basic grammar concepts. I will absolutely use this in the classroom to more effectively engage students.
I absolutely love grammar. This book tackles many of the misunderstandings and common misuses of grammar in a way that is enjoyable and accessible to both adults and children alike, using visuals and relatable, humorous examples to demonstrate the rules of grammar, as well as why it is so important for communication. I would highly recommend this for anybody that has a passion for the English language or wants to understand how it works - this is definitely a resource I will be utilising in my classroom!
This is a wondrous exploration of the "beauty" of grammar as a resource for making meaning. Congratulations Tohby Riddle, couldn't help it, simply had to keep turning pages as my smile grew wider and wider! A lovely addition to my personal library, which will find a home close to "The Word Spy" and "The Return of the Word Spy". A joy to own!
