Like the other two parts of this introducton, all of the details were well thought out. While some parts may have been a bit gruesome (of course, we ARE talking about zombies here), they all fit well into this story that has been written so as to draw a reading audience in. Many of these stories are set in different areas, but all of them have some fine line that connect them somehow. These novellas have all been short, well-written pit stops on the road that advances through the progress of a preternatural condition of epic proportions.

Complex game changing events are merely erupting and different states are being contaminated. the action bit subsides but still a magnetic read. Whitlock's writing is delicous I tell you! :)
