Rate this book
Five years ago, Jordyn Carter left Houston with her reputation destroyed, her family fractured, and one promise to she would never come back.

Then her twin sister, Jailyn, sends a wedding invitation with four handwritten

Come home. I need you.

Jordyn returns expecting awkward reunions, fake apologies, and relatives pretending the past belongs in the past. Instead, she discovers the people surrounding Jailyn’s perfect wedding are connected to the same financial scandal that nearly sent Jordyn to prison for crimes she never committed.

Someone framed her.

Someone in her family helped.

And someone has started killing the people Jordyn once blamed for destroying her life.

When the murders begin following a private revenge list Jordyn created years ago, suspicion circles back to the woman Houston already found guilty once before. With Jailyn’s wedding approaching and another name moving to the top of the killer’s list, Jordyn has to uncover who has been watching her family, who manipulated the investigation that ruined her, and why Jailyn’s charming fiancé knew exactly who she was long before they supposedly met.

The deeper Jordyn digs, the uglier the truth becomes.

Because betrayal didn’t come from one person.

It came from people who loved her.

And when Jailyn disappears on her wedding day, Jordyn is finally summoned back to the place where everything began.

Some families bury secrets.

This one buried Jordyn.

Now she’s digging herself out.

COME TO ME is a fast-paced urban psychological thriller packed with family betrayal, sisterhood, revenge, murder, buried corruption, and a wedding weekend where everybody has something to hide.

This was my first Wynter Rose read, and now I’m digging back through the catalogue because I clearly have catching up to do.

Come to Me grabbed me fast and kept that weird little feeling in my stomach the whole way through. Everything looks fine on the surface, but something just is not quite right, and that tension makes it such a fun spooky-season read.

Family secrets, betrayal, wedding drama, suspense, and a main character I was fully locked in with. I genuinely cannot stop recommending this one.

Perfect way to kick off spooky season. 👀
