I'll Be Seeing You by Darlene Kuncytes is an intriguing romantic suspense. Katherine is becoming more and more terrified of a stalker no one believes exists. When she reaches out for help from Cole, a police detective, she didn't expect to be believed. Nor did she expect to feel the attraction to him she does. As soon as Cole sees Katherine he is stunned by the intimate feelings she evokes in him, and the protective urges he feels towards a woman he just met. Cole believes Katherine, especially when he finds out the rest of the story she didn't tell him. Soon he finds himself in deep both for her and on the hunt for a stalker who will stop at nothing to get to Kate.

I'll Be Seeing You was a well paced, mesmerizing read. I liked Kate and Cole. I liked that Cole doesn't judge Kate based on past events or what other people think. He truly wants to help her and keep her safe. His personal feelings towards her only make him more determined! Kate is a strong heroine, who even in fear doesn't hide. I also liked that she was trying to get help, even when she was scared no one would believe her. I liked that she was strong enough to realize she needed help. I liked watching their relationship grow, and the edgy suspense really took everything up a notch or two! Darlene kept me in the dark as much as Kate and Cole were in the dark and I was as surprised as they were!

A great blend of scary suspense and romance, I'd recommend I'll Be Seeing You to any romance reader.

Katherine had an extremely traumatic and violent life experience. For 10 years she's be running and hiding and HE always seems to find her. Nobody really believes her and the general consensus is that she's traumatised THAT is till she meets Cole. 
Chemistry is instant and although hesitant at first Cole delves deeper. ...he has this unexplainable urge to protect Katherine.
Katherine seems to wake up the "Romeo beast" in Cole ♥
While trying to find the "crasy daisy stalker" Cole and Katherine stoke the embers of their desires for one another ♥

I was gifted a copy of this book direct from the author, for no other reason than she is rather awesome! And that in no way reflects on my review and rating.

Katherine has been running for 10 years, adn HE has found her again. But she is tired of running, and she just wants someone to believe her. Detective Cole is floored by the lady who says she is beingstalked. There is no proof, no evidence, nonothing. But Katherine does more than push his professional buttons, she slams his personla ones too. And Cole very quickly becomes embroiled in a game of cat and mouse that may well cost Katherine her life.

LOVE LOVE LOVED THIS!!

Darlene has excelled herself. Switching from paranormal to crime/thriller can't be easy. There is much less to mess around with, to bend and make up as you go along but Darlene pulls it off beautifully!

You are kept on your toes the whole way through, not totally sure that Katherine is actually being stlaked til HE visits the first time. Not totally sure who HE is, although I had a inkling early on, I just didn't connect the dots quick enough.

Told in the third person, from Katherine and Cole's POV, we also get some of HIM, the stalker, the baddie, the whodunnit. And I loved that! Not enough, though, for my liking. But thats just me, I always want more!

Hot and steamy, deep and emotional, dark and deadly, we get a little bit of everyhing, extremely well written, executed beautifully, and it leaves me wanting more of this type of book from Darlene. Not that she should stop the paranormal series, cos I want that too! Like I said, I always want more.

I have to admit I love everything that Darlene writes. She is one of the handful of paranormal authors that have a permanent spot at the top of my instant 1-click list.

I'll Be Seeing You is unlike anything she has ever written and I mean that in a good way. She steps out of the paranormal realm and directly into the romantic suspense realm and she did it effortlessly. In fact I believe this is her best book to date and that is saying a lot since I love her other books and couples in the books.

I'll Be Seeing You will keep you on your toes and keep you guessing and even second guessing on who the bad guy is. I might have changed my mind a million times. Okay, okay I am exaggerating a bit but I was white-knuckled with suspense.

Katherine hasn't had it easy. She's running from a nightmare, a ghost who is hell bent on terrorizing her. She decides to get help and that help comes in the form of the sexy Detective Cole McKenzie the playboy of the precinct.

While trying to find out who is stalking and terrorizing Katherine she and Cole find themselves battling growing feelings and this need to free her from this nightmare that has plagued both her dreams and reality for ten years.

Yep, that's all I am giving you. However, I can tell you this... this story is a page turner. You won't want to put it down until the bad guy is caught. The characters, plot and story line flow easily and are extremely well written. I hope Darlene writes some more books in this genre.

When i saw an advert for this book the cover immediately caught me, i stopped and new i just had to read it, i felt so lucky when i was gifted a copy.

This book is not all it seems its more its a thrilling romantic suspense which will have you on your toes. and of course trying to work out who the bad guy is .... surely does keeps you going.

Katherine Chastain has been on the run from her nightmare of a past for ten Extremely long years. She has been hiding from the very nightmare that stalks her.

She is so desperate and sick of everything including jumping at everything, o So she decides to take matters in to her own hands just one more time and stumbles into a small town Police Department in yet another of the towns where she lives Katherine is so desperate for some help and someone else to believe that she is not going insane there is someone still stalking her.

But what she gets wasn't what she was prepared for at all, she gets something much more Cole and he is the force of nature that answers her cry for help.

Detective Cole McKenzie has the reputation od being the playboy of the precinct. He has chiselled good looks and a body that is made for sin. but everything changes when Katherine walks into his office in search of his help, Cole is very nearly knocked to his knees he cant believe this gorgeous woman needs his help he knows he cannot say no.

There is something very special about Katherine and Cole he just can’t shake it or her beautiful haunted emerald eyes that burn him to his very core, Cole finds that he wants to help her and to stop the nightmare that has been plaguing her life.

Will Cole be able to protect her from this someone who is like a ghost? This someone who has been stalking and terrorizing the life out of her for so long now that she doesn't no what normal is.

Can Cole fight the desire, the rush of love that is building up inside of him? With just one simple look, from this woman he is a goner. Or will this love disappear like the very person stalking her?

Can these two fight for they want need and desire?

This book will not only thrill you but romance you as well, you get everything and more from it. Its an incredibly well written book with allot of twists and turns to it, and some super hot sex scenes which i no i loved :)

Cole he is amazing such a caring and gorgeous guy you could so tell he was a keeper right from the start i adored the build up of the chemistry between him and Katherine.

Now Katherine i felt so bad for her she has gone through so much and is terrorised yet she has the gumption to stand up for herself once and for all and take control of this situation, i loved how her interaction with Cole in the beginning was it sent chills down my spine.

I Cannot wait to read more from this fantastic talented author.

This book will have you flicking pages, clicking the button or however you turn the pages on your device so quick it is not even funny....

I will tell y'all this when you think you have it figured out she puts another twist in the mix... I will not lie cause that is not me. Who the stalker turns out to be just blows my mind. I mean how can she not see it? How can you not tell? How can you not hear it?
Sorry had to get that out.... Now for my review...

Katherine, Katie, red-head, blonde & brunette one woman that has been through hell yet is still alive. Now she must learn to survive and fight back before it is to late. A unspeakable event accures to her during her younger years that is still following/hunting her with every move that she makes. When going to seek help the people that she turns to can not find anything or anyone that is doing anything to her. Yet they are there. They are playing THERE song. The song that is dedicated just to her.
When she feels them lerking around again she goes and requestes the help from Cole aka Mac. Once she explains in detail what is going on she feels more uneasy cause he is sparking something inside of her that she has never felt before. You see she has not been able to date cause stalker person is making it impossible for her. However, the more time Mac & her spend together the tingles grow more & more. But she knows that nothing can come of it for he is only there to do his job and help the crazy lady as she calls herself...yet she is far from it.

Cole aka Mac has to question what is coming out of this beautiful womans mouth. From his point of view it has to be an ex doing this who is distraught because she left him. Yet the look on her face is telling him something eles. Something more. Something that is not sitting right inside of me. Then again what is not sitting well is this feeling of wanting to protect her more then what the job is calling for....

But will he make it in time to save when she is finally taken. Will stalker finally get their wish to have her all to themself? Tick tock time is running out....can Mac & the guys find the hiding spot before things turn dirty/nasty?????

The mystery in this story developed organically and flowed naturally. It might not have been fast paced with tons of action but it was a slow burn that kept me captivated throughout.
Not only did Darlene Kuncytes create a compelling mystery but she also introduced us to some fabulous characters. Katherine and Cole were deep, multi-dimensional protagonists. They were well fleshed out with interesting back stories.
To top it all off, there were some seriously sexy scenes in this book! Cole was a total alpha; so hot! The connection between Cole and Katherine was palpable.
Will Cole be able to protect Katherine from the danger lurking around every corner? Is Katherine strong enough to let Cole in or will her fears push him away? Will their connection be strong enough to overcome all of the obstacles in their path? There are more than just hearts on the line and you'll have to read to find out who will win this deadly game of cat and mouse.

Katherine has been on the run for years, trying to get away from the shadow that terrorizes her everywhere she goes. The police can't catch him, he knows what he is doing. He's good at hiding from everyone.
She has been given Detective Cole McKenzie's name. An old friend thinks he might be able to help out.
Cole instantly wants to protect this women that he finds in his office. He isn't sure what has happened to her but his alpha male is rearing its head.
Can Cole concentrate on his job and catch the shadow that haunts Katherine's life or are his feeling going to get in the way?
Can Katherine enjoy being with Cole while it lasts and the have to run again and leave him behind?
I really enjoyed this book, I love the mystery side of it, trying to figure who the bad guy is. My mind was constantly thinking who it could be. I was certain it could be someone and then they would do something and you would know it wasn't them.
It kept me on the edge of my set until the very end. I was not expecting the bad guy to be who he was.
Cole and Katherine have this instant attraction to one another, but it goes far deeper then sex. They are meant to be. You don't feel like they did at the start without realising that.
I loved the authors writing style and I will be going to check out her other books!

I went back and forth on how to rate this one. So, here is my like/don't like list:

Don't like:
1. Insta-love was a bit much. I love insta-love. In this book though, it just didn't work for me. Maybe if they had at least seen each other around for a few months or something. But, here is this traumatized girl who agrees to stay in a guys house after 2 days and then sleeps with him that night? It just didn't feel real to me.

Like:
1. The book is suspenseful and interesting once I ignored my feelings about my previous point!
2. While I figured out who the bad guy was pretty early on, I didn't get it 100%. The twist was pretty good!
3. I loved that Cole could see past what Katherine was trying to do and called her on it. I hate when the girl is all like "I gotta leave. I don't love you" blah blah blah because she is afraid he will get killed. I LOVED that Cole picked up on what she was doing and just called her out about it.
4. I love that Katherine didn't run! She decided she wanted to stay with Cole when things get tough (again, see my previous point for what usually happens)

So, more likes than dislikes for sure; if the insta-love had been set up a bit better IMO this would have been a 5 star read for me!

I received this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review.

This book tells the tale of Katherine (Katie) and how she's been stalked from a very young age. She has lived through things already that no one should have to deal with. She's paid the price though, she has ran from place to place, never settling down, never having friends.

This is an intriguing story that will keep you guessing as to 'whodunnit', whilst enjoying the romance that runs through.

To explain why I've only given this 4-stars, instead of the usual 5 that everyone else seems to be giving, it's because, for me, everything was just too... easy. I mean, I know she's had it tough and that side of the story I thought was absolutely fantastic. Once she meets Cole though, that for me was the too easy. It was too easy that... he believed her, that they fell into bed (although that was hot!), that they proclaimed their love etc. Now I do realise that extreme circumstances can bring forth strong emotions but, yeah, for me, that part of it didn't work. THEY didn't have to work, they just fell into it and worked on finding the stalker.

On the whole though, thoroughly enjoyable and another winner from Darlene!

Oh my goodness Darlene you knocked this one out of the park!

When I read the supernatural desire series I didn't think I could read any books by you that could get any better than those were absolutely unbelievably awesome. But I'll Be Seeing You has now become my ultimate favorite book of yours what a wonderful read. I thought I had it figured out, who was stalking Katherine for those 10 years and then Bam, it wasn't him. Then I started to begin to think it was her doing all these things, and then Bam here we go again it wasn't her. Talk about nail biting, sitting on the edge of my seat, jumping up and down, walking the floors, driving myself crazy trying to figure out who it was,, and loving every minute of every word I was reading. Darlene this book was spectacular absolutely phenomenal. From this day forward or I should actually say from the day I read your very first book, I will be reading every single thing that you write from here on out. I won't ever miss a book of yours to have in my Kindle or on my bookshelf. Thank you again Darlene for taking me away for a while from reality into a world of mystery, suspense, action, drama and most of all true love.

"They got the wrong Stalker!"
The story line of this book is so compelling!. The characters are amazing!. You have a sweet young woman who has been in fear most of her life. When Katherine aka Katie was only sixteen she her life was turned up side down by a dangerous Stalker. The Stalker even killed her Mom. The cops found a young man at the scene of the crime and thought he was the one. Katherine tried to tell the cops they had the wrong guy but no one would listen. Now years later things are starting up again. Katie contacted the Detective who was on the case when her Mother was killed. He told her to contact Detective Cole McKenzie. When she goes to see Detective McKenzie she is sure he will think she is crazy. The first moment Cole sees Katie he is very attracted to her. At first he does think she is crazy till he starts checking into her case more fully and talks to her again. You will fall in love with Cole! lol. This book is so suspenseful it will have you jumping at any odd noises lol. The action and steamy romance is amazing!. I highly recommend this book!.

WOW! Is all I can say. This book is amazing from page one until the end. Intriguing, mysterious and OH MY GOD sexy as hell! Katherine Chastain has been through hell and back for the last ten years, she watches over her shoulder and never truly feels safe. When she takes the advice of a sheriff that helped her ni the past she meets Detective Cole Mckenzie. Cole oh my is he sexy as hell, a total take charge alpha and knows what he wants and that Katherine. These two light the sheets on fire and more! Darlene sure can write sexy as hell, sizzling sex scenes....WOW!

I felt for Katherine from page one, She is a sweet and caring person and just wants her stalker stopped, throughout her life she's been running. Some think she's crazy others feel for her but all I know is she is one tough as hell, strong ass women! I cannot believe what she has been through. I love her compassion for people who were affected by what she went through and her love for Cole. Truly awesome story, action packed, hot as hell and loving all in one!..Loved it. 5 Huge stars

Katherine has been stalked and haunted by someone since age 16 when all in her life changed. She lost her mother to a tragic event. Cole is a detective and has been asked by a good friend to help Katherine. Sparks flutter between Cole and Katherine and at first, he thought she was just talking crazy but then realizes she is very serious and the stalker is very real.

Now at age 25 Katherine’s nightmare is still there still following her.
Can Cole save her?
Who will save Katherine's heart from Cole?

This was a very good book indeed. If you like oh so hot romance mingled with a touch of suspense then this is the book for you. And the culprit when they are finally revealed you will say Oh wow I didn’t see that coming.

I'll Be Seeing You is a sit on the edge of your seat romantic thriller. Katie and Cole are two souls destined to be together but will something from her past prevent that? I sat and read this with every anticipating turn of each page as I watched and read every detail possible of Katie's ordeal. Her past collides with her present and in the mean time she falls in Love with the one man who can help her, but will he survive? Take a step into the world of shadows and terror that is following her and Cole. I absolutely LOVED this book and could imagine every detail in it. Thank You Darlene for such an amazing read.

Darlene Kuncytes is truly an amazing author and has written a keep you on your toes suspense thriller.

Katherine is on the run from a stalker in her past but no matter where she goes he always finds her.

Cole is a Detective and at first doesn't believer her but there is something about her - he can't get her out of his mind.

NO spoilers but this is most definitely a must read and will have you turning pages quickly and not wanting to put the book down. You won't be sorry and when you find out who the stalker truly is you won't believe it. Congrats Darlene on an awesome book.

If you have not read any books by Darlene Kuncytes, you will love this book! A great thriller filled with romance. If you have read her books before this one will not disappoint. Katherine and Cole are hot together, you can feel the chemistry jump off the pages. You will fall in love with Cole and root for Katherine at the same time. An awesome HEA, however I would not be unhappy if there were to be a book 2

Sometimes romantic suspense is stretched beyond belief and the characters quickly lose credibility but Darlene Kuncytes gets it just right for me. Okay, everything happens fast but it's the essence of the story and if you fall in love with the characters which is important. This was my first book by Darlene but it definitely won't be my last.

Ever emotion possible can be felt with the characters of this book and a roller coaster of them you will go! Loved this book! The plot... the characters... I think I have a new to me author that will now be placed on my list of more books to read from!
