OMG ... that was really boring.

Very short story 22 pages ...so more like a couple of chapters of an idea. Main focus was on Gloria 's struggle with her self worth. There is no world building or any real development of characters. You just jump in with Gloria struggles with her step father and her own image and self worth that really goes nowhere.

Too short
Was really too short, I was able to read this in an hour. Yes that's nice sometimes, but it cost some details slipping out.
*SPOILER* For instance when Rock took Gloria away, he took her to an island. But then they were beginning to have sex, but there was no mention of a bed or house on the beach until apparently they were.
The last thing I had a problem with was some of the dialogue. It could be on one paragraph, not divided into two.

Short and sweet
This story was a nice short sweet alien romance. I enjoyed the interactions between Rock and Gloria. I also liked how the story is a stand alone but also ties into the other alien romances Ms. Lex has written.

This was a ok read. I really liked the concept and the characters but the storyline was weak. The whole book just seemed to be rushed and underdeveloped. Not great!

DNF. Okay so wow. No words for how bad this story is. Won't be trying anything else by this author.

Very quick read and a fairly abrupt ending.
