While I enjoyed this story and all the characters that came along, there were lots of errors and lost thoughts on the author's part. The main character starts the story with a .308, then it becomes a 30.06 with no explanation. And not sure what became of the Colt Python. Also, the path she followed jumps all over the place up in Idaho and Montana with very little basis in reality. And I-35 runs out of Minnesota, not Wisconsin. There's poetic liberties and then there's just not doing your research when writing a story. I won't go into all the little discrepancies that had me shaking my head. But I will leave it at this was one of the better Apocalypse stories I've read.
I actually enjoyed reading it except for the locations of the cities seemed odd one minute she is in northern Idaho and Montana next she is in southern Idaho in Arco
I very much enjoyed this story. Lots of action without the constant blood and violence that so many books of this jaundra contain. I highly recommend reading it.
