Out of the Shadows and into the light. Sigh… such a great ending to this trilogy from Tiffany Snow. The final book in The Tangled Ivy Trilogy focuses mainly on Ivy and Devon: the sexy spy and the beautiful girl caught up in an international whirlwind of chemical warfare.

From page one, the action is awesomely intense and satisfying. Tired of being a victim, Ivy takes control in the best action/drama sequence of events that puts her firmly in the hero’s role. No sitting around playing the damsel in distress. She’s kicking ass and taking names!

From that point on, it’s an east coast do-or-die ride for answers, freedom, and a cure. Out of The Shadows is a never-ending barrage of mishaps, missteps, and covert cover-ups that all lead to one hell of a dramatic ending.

A fun romp into the world of spies and the ones they love.

I CAN NOT believe I am going to say this! DEEP BREATH….I think I’m actually going to say this…..I loved this trilogy as much as The Kathleen Turner series!! OMG I just said that didn’t I?? I can’t believe it! Okay anyone that knows me KNOWS that The Kathleen Turner series (by the same author) has been and will ALWAYS be my favorite series EVER. NOTHING has ever come close for me, so this is HUGE for me to say. HUGE! I love so many things about this trilogy. The first being that it was a trilogy (these have become my favorite types of series to read lately) It’s just enough to be submerged in a story and it not feel rushed as well as not having to invest in a LONG drawn out series that just seems to go on forever. The other things I LOVED were…..WELL DEVON!!! <3 I LOVED him from book 1 and all the way through. (((Sigh))) I also loved Ivy because never once did she exasperate me. With so many heroines who just don’t freaking communicate/listen and go off half cocked and get themselves into all these predicaments that just make me roll my eyes and think “dumb ass you deserved that!” She may not have listened 100% of the time but never did I think she made asinine decisions. She was secretive when she needed to be and honest and forthright when it was called for. She came out guns a blazing when she was being protective, yeah she was bad ass! I also loved that this trilogy NEVER felt stagnant. Tiffany Snow moved these characters along effortlessly weaving through different plots and settings. The cause and effects sequences always keeping me on my toes, and the change in environments from Missouri to Amsterdam to Paris to Hawaii to The Keys to Scotland (pheww I hope I got that all right lol) HOT DAMN this is EXACTLY how a Romance/Suspense series should be and NO ONE does it better than Tiffany Snow!! So yes that would DEFINETLY be a BIG FAT 5 Stars for the entire trilogy as whole!

Another suspenseful series by Tiffany Snow... Loved it! Audio narration was fantastic. Karen Peakes can do multiple accents very well.

Check out my reviews of books 1 & 2 of the Tangled Ivy Trilogy HERE and HERE.

No one said the path to true love was paved with rainbows and unicorns.

This has been a terrific trilogy. The romance between Ivy and Devon was so sexy and swoony. I really enjoyed "the chase." Ya know what I mean?! There was also so much action and suspense that kept the story moving along at a fast pace. And, the twists in this final installment kept me on my toes the entire time.

I have been drooling over Devon the whole series, but OMG he definitely stole my heart with this book. Damn, he was just sweet and tender with Ivy, and he knew how to take care of the woman he loves. I also think we get to see a human and vulnerable side to Devon. Sometimes we thought he was this untouchable British spy, but turns out, he's just a man.
"I love you," he said. "That's a commitment. All I have and am, I devote to you. Including protecting you from any harm."

I am completely satisfied with how this series ended. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Everything was wrapped up nicely without any loose ends. One of the best romantic series I've read. Great job, Tiffany Snow!

Ya know why I absolutely love romance books? No matter how awful things may seem in the story while reading, one always has the assurance that somehow, someway, things will work out in the end and those characters we have grown to love will find a way to a happy conclusion. That is especially true of this book.

I loved it both because of the incredibly strong love Ivy and Devon established - one bound of hardship, tragedy and struggle, then refined into one of the best love stories I have enjoyed in a long time - AND because no matter that everything looked pretty dismal throughout much of the book, I knew they would be okay in the end. *sigh*. What a great way to finish the journey!

How much can happen to one couple? I think Devon can never doubt Ivy's love for him after everything she has endured because of his occupation. I was very, glad to see that love returned. You really do get to see how much she means to him and what he would do for her and that's exactly how I want to end a series.

Wow, I feel kinda bad, but this final installment of the Tangled Ivy series was a total failure for me. Really, it was barely over a 1 star as far as story plausibility goes, but I do like the author, so I'll give it 2 (plus, I know there are folks out there who can overlook flaws that just send *me*).

The hero had total character failure, as in, who-TF, is this weak, emasculated person who used to be Devon Clay, Super Secret British Assassin? This dude needed to be rescued by his dying-of biological-virus girlfriend (yep), over and over again.

And I did a bit of eye rolling at these types of scenarios: 'Ivy, you're everything to me, I love you, I would die for you, blah, blah, blah,' and then 3 pages later, Ivy internalizes that Devon is a 'show not tell' type of dude so he doesn't ever tell her what he's feeling. Dafuk?

It felt rushed, not well thought out, and very shallow.

Sorry gang.

Tiffany Snow knows how to create superb romantic suspense series.
Out Of The Shadows was a fantastic ending to the trilogy! Lots of action and suspense with some developments that I hadn't expected at all and blended with a truly swoon worthy romance and some great humor. Who needs James Bond, when there's Devon?! It was really interesting to find out about Devon's background and get the back-story to the Shadow. There were some excellent secondary characters. I liked the humorous scenes with the truck drivers and would also love to read a story about Beau and his love interest. The way Ivy has developed in this series from being an insecure damsel in distress to kick-ass heroine in this one was brilliantly done, while Devon seemed to have gone a tad the other way from slightly distant alpha male to a bit sappy and almost overly romantic, but only almost.
Thanks to the publisher and author for providing me with a free copy via Netgalley for an unbiased review. As I listened to the previous two books and really enjoyed Karen Peakes' awesome narration, I ended up purchasing the audio book version again. Karen Peakes has a great range of different voices and accents that are all very believable. You always know exactly who is speaking without it being mentioned. Her rendition of Devon was such a pleasure to listen to, I was really sad when I got to the end.
I would highly recommend this entire series for romantic suspense readers, but start with the first one in the series, In His Shadow.

In this heart-pounding and thrilling conclusion to the Tangled Ivy Trilogy, Tiffany Snow pulled out all the stops and created an edge of your seat, thrilling story of love, betrayal, and jaw-dropping revelations. I have been waiting for quite a while for this book and it was indeed worth the wait especially with the twist I did not see coming. Seriously, there was a major ‘Holy Crap…this is going to change things a bit’ moment that left me speechless because quite frankly, I didn't see it coming at all.

Out of the Shadows wrapped up the trilogy quite nicely and Tiffany Snow’s talent shines through and gives the reader the reading experience we have come to expect from this talented author. If you love romantic suspense that’s intense, then you’re going to love this series. With no love triangle interweaved among the drama and a happily-ever-after that is sigh worthy, you can’t possibly go wrong with giving this series a try.

The pace is slower as focus shifts more towards Ivy and Devon's relationship in this final book in the Tangled Ivy Trilogy. There is still plenty of intrigue, new secrets to uncovered and loose ends to be tied, as the protagonists look for answers.

I've struggled throughout the previous two books to personally identify with Devon and to actually like Ivy. So up until now, I haven't felt invested in them as a couple. This time round, their relationship felt palpable because the pretence and pretentiousness is gone. What is left are two damaged people who found and fell in love with each other, both doubting whether they have a future together...fighting for their lives. The drama takes us from Florida to the far north of Scotland. Betrayal is revealed, truths uncovered, with a dark cloud of uncertainty hanging over Ivy and Devon's future.

To sum up, I'll remember The Tangled Ivy series for the exciting suspenseful plot-line. Tiffany really knows how to pull the unexpected out of the bag. The romance was secondary for me and didn't hold my interest but became believable in the end.

Lastly, for fans of The Kathleen Turner Series, there is a nice Easter egg for you!

This is why I love Tiffany Snow, the perfect ending to a perfect series!!!!!! Just fantastic! Pure perfection! I love that feeling when it's the last book to a series, you're hanging on to every word, you don't want to put the book down and you know you'll know everything, all questions get answered but then when it's done you wish there was more or that you could make it last longer, that's how felt right after I finished reading Out of the Shadow.

So many twists and turns I didn't see coming. So many amazing surprises, Tiffany Snow had me in shock. Astounding story line, sensational characters. If you like a good sexy romantic suspense, this is series is for you. It has all the action of a James Bond movie meets 9 1/2 weeks meets the Notebook. With each book you'll fall more in love with Devon the sexy alpha male spy hero who's British (that makes him hot x10). You'll love to hate the bad guys. You'll meet new characters that are very important to this puzzle and even an old familiar face. You'll be in the moment with Ivy and Devon as they race against the clock. This is a series that will get you adrenaline pumping!

Another extraordinary series from Tiffany snow.

This is a phenomenal conclusion to the Tangled Ivy trilogy. In it, Ivy is fighting for her very existence against overwhelming circumstances and has great difficulty telling friend from foe. Many of the characters from the prior books are in it, along with some new ones that add to the story.

As in all of the author's books, this is a well crafted tale that will grab you from page one and keep you hooked until the very last page. It is so well written that I found myself sorry when it ended. No one creates a complex story like this author.

Because the prologue will catch new readers up, this can be read as a stand alone novel, however, you will enjoy it so much more if you read the entire trilogy in order.

For fans of the genre, this is a must read. I would give it more than 5 stars if it were possible.

The three Tangled Ivy books are more serial than series. This book #3 follows right after book #2. With jaw dropping action and a blazing hot romance this serial has edge of your seat suspense that will keep you reading far into the night.

Will Devon and Ivy be able to out wit and out maneuver the malevolent Vega and the super secret British spy organization, Shadow, and get their HEA? Ivy is finally realizing her inner strength and is becoming more an asset to Devon than a liability. But even Ivy has a limit to her strength. As Devon tries to let Ivy go so he can return to Vega and Shadow, Ivy keeps getting herself in untenable situations. Finally, Devon realizes that he just can't live without Ivy and that unleashes a very vengeful Vega.

Tiffany Snow does it again with none stop action and great romance and a fantastic ending for our heroes. Iwill be honest I struggled though book 2 wondering when Ivy would finally stand on her own to feet? I was almost turned off from finishing the series because Ivy was such a push over. Book 3 I couldn't put down with its crazy Twist and turns that had me reading late into the night. Ivy and Devon relationship keeps take hits from all sides constantly testing their love for each other. Ivy finally grows into a strong woman who learns how to take care of herself and those she cares for. Ivy is no longer the broken damsel. Thank you Tiffany Snow for this wild ride.

Fell in love with this thrill ride of romance suspense. A very well-written book i enjoyed reading. The main character Ivy is a woman that trouble seems to find but she has always managed to out think it or out run it. She now has to face this new threat. Devon the British agent is a man is so the man in this book. An excellent story, and a must read.

Honestly just glad it's over. I loved Devon but never really connected with Ivy or any single decision she ever made. This last book was a bit far fetched in wrapping up plot lines. And the epilogue didn't really give me anything to tie them up nicely. I only finished this series just to find out what happened to Devon.

I felt this book was kinda boring at times. Maybe it’s because the couple where already together? I don’t know. I did like the whole virus storyline.

As for the ending with Vega being Devon’s grandmother and getting her happily ever after with Mark, Devon’s grandfather. She didn’t really deserve it.

She was a sociopath, pretty much was really shitty to her grandson her whole life, used him, tortured him, turned him into an assassin, killed his dead wife. Like THAT deserved to die lol.

Also the epilogue was very brief and short. We weren’t given updates on Beau and Alexa’s relationships, did they get together? Or what? They were cute as, I would’ve liked a spin off on them. Just as I would’ve liked a spin off for Blane. (Narrows eyes at the author, i’m still salty that Blane didn’t get another book for himself lol).

Nor did we get updates on the whereabouts of Vega and Mark. Are they living happily ever after, does Devon’s grandfather not want to see him? Like we should’ve gotten a little insight into them.

Oh well.

Cute story still.

Action, suspense and drama.

Just no where near as good as the Kathleen Turner series. I also didn’t feel that same rush of love I felt for Kade and Blane that I felt for Devon..

Hunted and Betrayed

Devon searches for Ivy whilst trying to come to terms with the ultimate betrayal. With the help of friends they need to stay one step ahead of deadly assassins and figure out the endgame. This is complicated by Ivy becoming ill, so Devon does want any sane killer would do, he kidnaps a Doctor! With the love of his life seemingly finally his Devon must face his demons and fight for the happy ever after that he so desperately wants. This is a thrilling adrenaline filled ride and a terrific way to end the trilogy. I listened to this book for free with Kindle Unlimited.

Oh how I love happy endings!!!

This series is better than the Kathleen Turner series. Ivy and Devon's love is so inspiring and I can't wait to read these again! I had a range of emotions in this book. I was mad, happy, sad, happy again, then sad again until finally the happy ending. I wish that they could have some kind of private investigator company together so their adventures will continue because I hate to see it end.

Devon had a personality transplant. Though it might’ve been needed it wasn’t executed in a natural way at all. He went from a big bad British wolf to a crying-his-pants-off British wuss. Ivy showed a little growth which is great and all but she still lived and breathed by Devon’s every word. But really, I wasn’t expecting anything more. So at the end of the day I was entertained enough to finish the series.

Good ending

I enjoyed the story. The secrets, the mystery, how much of it came full circle. There are some questions I still have but nothing real big, just me being picky. I see there are a lot mores books and I wonder if any of these characters appear in them. I'm now a fan of the author.

Ivy and Devon finished strong. For some reason, I stalled out on finishing this book at about the 60% mark, but I just went back to it, and have no idea why I waited. Finding out Devon's backstory just tied this series together that much more. I loved this series.

I really enjoyed this series. Lots of action, danger, suspense and last but not least, a good romance. The characters were resilient, tough, with just a tinge of vulnerability. This is a really good mystery/thriller type romance story. I'll be reading more from this author.
