Rate this book
A young man re-evaluates his office-bound existence when he comes across the printout musings of an old dot matrix printer.

Early one morning an anonymous man arrives at his anonymous workplace to lose another day of his life to a keyboard in an office cubicle. It is a day like any other…until he is disturbed by a rat-tat-tatting sound in the copier room. He soon learns that an old printer is printing out messages telling him how he should change his life. Initially dismissing the printouts as a prank by work colleagues, he moves on with his day. It is only after receiving repeated printouts that he takes the messages to heart and makes life-altering decisions.

A print head moves in mysterious ways.

In one word: Amazing. I honestly enjoyed reading this short story. My absolute favourite part was when he received the email for the training course he wanted to go on and seconds later he was called to his boss' office and offered a promotion. How many of us would have taken the increase & promotion as opposed to going on the course and following our dreams. Without telling me what to think, I was led by way of words to imagine being in the same situation. It's brilliantly written, and I highly recommend it.
