Fair warning before you read this review… I am the author’s wife. I am extremely proud of this master piece you get to experience today and in case it isn’t obvious my review will be positive.
I had the privilege of reading it when it was only a short story for a college course, and i also had the privilege to see it develop into the amazing story you get to experience today….
Now my thoughts… Absolutely adored this book, the magic of the red mango throughout was an absolute nice touch. The struggles and challenges of each member of the family had me hooked from beginning to end. It was raw and real and I could see myself in many of the characters. It was definitely a relatable raw piece of art. The emotions that it managed to pull out of me was incredible. I laughed, loved,cried and experienced every emotion along this a family.
Deserved every bit of my 5 ⭐️ wish I could give it more…
