Savannah Saint is having a terrible week.

First, she gets cursed by the weird girl everyone avoids on campus. Then the sky splits open and demons start crawling out of it.

And somehow, the hottest man she’s ever seen still has the audacity to act like she’s the problem.

Riot Mercer—the bassist of The Velvet Massacre—is tattooed, foul-mouthed, completely inhuman, and unfortunately the only thing standing between Savannah and the apocalypse swallowing Iowa whole.

Which would be easier to deal with if he didn’t look so good covered in blood, and Hell itself didn’t seem personally interested in her.

Now Savannah’s trapped between monsters, the end of the world, and the world’s most hostile sexual tension...

All while trying not to die in the most embarrassing state in America.

G.M. Draevyn is an upcoming indie author carving out a name in the world of dark romance and suspenseful thrillers. With a sharp, haunting voice and a flair for weaving love and obsession into something both beautiful and unsettling, Draevyn's stories pull readers deep into the shadows of desire, trauma, and survival.

Her debut novel, Where The Iris Withered, is the first in the Roots of Obsession series. A dark, emotionally charged journey that blurs the line between passion and peril. Exploring inherited trauma, the lure of dangerous devotion, and the kind of love that destroys as much as it saves, Draevyn delivers a fresh, unflinching take on the dark romance thriller genre.

Recently, she just published the second book in the Roots of Obsession series, What The Reed Hid.

Readers looking for grit, intensity, and a story that lingers long after the last page will find themselves consumed by Draevyn's world--and hungry for more.

G.M. Draevyn, 30, resides in the Midwest and draws inspiration from her background working in correctional settings, where proximity to danger sharpened her fascination with the darker sides of human nature. By day she keeps the mail flowing, but her true obsession lies in storytelling. Crafting unsettling, emotional narratives that blur the line between love and ruin.

Her constant companion is Arthur, a two-year-old Cairn Terrier/Lhasa Apso who appears in her debut novel Where The Iris Withered as a familiar friend named "Toad." More than a pet, Arthur is her anchor and the reason she kept fighting when life grew heavy.

When she isn't writing, Draevyn finds solace in reading, taxonomy art, true crime, horror, and the paranormal. Her shelves hold favorites like H.D. Carlton's Does It Hurt, while she names Nick Roberts, author of The Exorcist House, as her top author to date.

🍆MF with a Why Choose feel — Romantasy
📚Standalone
✏️First person — Multi POVs

❤️Main tropes: Apocalypse • Rock band • Monsters

The sky darkened and the gates of Hell opened. Must be Tuesday.

The End of the World Tour is a fast-paced, relatively short (but I wouldn’t call it a novella) romantasy, as if the last season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer met Gossip Girl! There’s gore, monsters, blood, fights, and all the good stuff to keep you entertained from beginning to end… and a nasty FMC!!! 😈

Savannah’s a b!tch. There. I said it. I hated her from the very start and honestly, I didn’t like her any more by the end! It’s just me. I like strong FMCs, but slutty, judgmental and mean isn’t my favourite kind of FMC. The boys though, I loved all of them! They were fun and chaotic, and there was some great banter between them, which I really enjoyed. Jude was my favourite. A real, fun sweetheart.

One thing confused me, though, when I started the book: from reading the blurb, I thought I would be reading a MF romance between the MCs, Savannah and Riot; but then, the first s*x scene happened and made me question what I was reading. I tagged it “MF with a Why Choose feel”, because the FMC isn’t only intimate with the MMC. It’s not actually a trigger warning (I think), as there is no cheating, but some readers might want to be aware of that. I didn’t really connect with the romance side of the book, probably because of that; it felt a bit rushed and superficial to me. What can I say? I’m hopelessly romantic! ❤️

All in all, even if the love story didn’t quite do it for me, I still really enjoyed this novel. I was there for the apocalypse, Hell’s monsters, demons, chaos and carnage, and in that regard, this book delivered!

ARC Disclosure: I received an advance reader copy of The End of the World Tour directly from the author. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

The End of the World Tour is a wild blend of dark romance, apocalyptic horror, glam metal, explicit spice, and wonderfully inappropriate humor. The story follows Savannah Saint, a vain and unapologetically cruel influencer whose carefully controlled life falls apart when a concert by the mysterious Velvet Massacre quite literally opens the gates of Hell.

Savannah will not be for everyone, but that is part of what makes her so memorable. She begins the book obsessed with attention, beauty, and status, but as the world collapses around her, we gradually see the insecurity and loneliness beneath that personality. Her development was one of my favorite parts of the story, especially as the members of the band become an unlikely found family and Riot becomes something much more complicated than the man she initially loves to antagonize.

One thing that really stood out to me was the included playlist. Having a song tied to the reading experience was a first for me, and I thought it worked extremely well. The music fit the glam-metal atmosphere of the story and added another layer to the experience, almost like having a soundtrack playing alongside the book.
The story is chaotic in the best way. There are hellhounds, demonic transformations, cults, graphic violence, very explicit romance, ridiculous arguments in the middle of life-or-death situations, and enough glam-metal energy to practically hear the guitar solos while reading. Once the concert gets underway and Hell quite literally breaks loose, the story moves quickly and becomes very hard to put down.

This is definitely one for readers who enjoy their romance dark, their heroines morally questionable, their horror bloody, and their humor completely unhinged.

ARC Disclosure: I received an advanced reader copy of this book directly from the author. All opinions expressed are entirely my own.

Savannah has a very real “mean girls” vibe as the self-important, popular girl being a complete bitch to everyone. Even her best friends. Unfortunately, for everyone else, she not only bullies everyone, she seems to be the key to opening a hellish apocalypse in the Midwest! This is the kind of girl that makes you root for the hellhounds to tear her apart… slowly!
With nothing else going on in the middle of nowhere, Iowa, they attend a metal rock concert in a barn, until the literal walls collapse into Hell. Not everything is as it seems with the band members though… “Demonic peacock” Now you have to read it and find out!.
Seriously though, there is amazing banter between all the characters, that had me laughing so hard people think I’m certifiable! Vince, Sebastian, Jude, and Riot keep the sarcasm, and sex appeal, on high throughout. I can generally see things coming in stories but this had twists that threw me off enough I had to reread sections to make sure I was seeing it right. Just read it, you’ll be glad you did!
Cult, demons, hellhounds, sex and rock n roll! Definitely an interesting way to spend the apocalypse!
Only issue I had was being told by too many different perspectives which could be confusing at times. Still worth every star and I plan to buy a physical copy!

I received this book as an arc from the author.

This book was not what I was expecting at all.

When I started this book I was not expecting it to take the turn that it did !!

The velvet massacre are 4 devilishly handsome men in a band that turned up in the fmc Savannahs small town to play a show. What i was not expecting was an apocalypse to happen and the men to turn into moonreavers, wendigos and so many other demons you couldnt even imagine.
The fmc Savannah was a b**ch at the beginning of the book and her friends just laughed along but as the story developed I actually started to like her.
Riot is my favorite of the 4 men the banter between all of them was killing me through out the book.
Once I started this wild ride I couldnt get off it and honestly girl, a demon flamingo. You are killing meeee
I loved this book so much.

I received this arc from the author to read today. I haven't put it down since I received it. Its very fast paced, full of adventure, and sometimes a little scary. Its all in what you like. Once I started reading the characters pulled me right into their world. Didnt really like Savannah at first but she redeems herself the further you read and you understand things. I loved the boys though, Riot is my favorite. So even though this book is about the end of the world, its definitely a great 5 star read to me. Definitely recommend.

I received this book as an advance readers copy.
The world is ending and the center of hell is in Ohio. Riot,Jude Vince,Sebastian, and Savannah have to survive the end of the world in a tour bus. The velvet massacre is ready to rock your socks off and maybe accidentally cause the world to end. Savannah is a mean girl reformed by an 80’s heavy metal rock band. Sometimes you even need to sell your soul for a record deal of a lifetime. This book is fast paced touch her and die with a good amount of banter especially the demonic peacock and Savannah.

This book was an EXPERIENCE. 🤘🏻🔥It takes the apocalypse and somehow turns it into a chaotic, dark, emotional, and surprisingly fun road trip, demons, monsters, the literal end of humanity, a dysfunctional glam-metal band, questionable decisions, found family, and a romance that I fell in love with! The band was one of my favorite parts they are an absolute disaster of a group, but somehow that disaster becomes part of their charm. Watching these characters navigate the end of the world while dealing with each other creates some genuinely entertaining moments. Their dynamic gives the story a sense of found family that makes the emotional moments hit harder, the romance doesn’t exist separately from the apocalypse. The characters are trying to survive while simultaneously dealing with attraction, emotions, trust, and everything that comes with developing feelings when the entire world is falling apart around them. It adds another layer of tension because survival isn’t the only thing they have to worry about. I will recommend this book to everyone! It was such a good ride🫶🏼

I absolutely loved this book! It was intense from the very beginning and grabbed my attention right away. I honestly had a hard time putting it down because there was always something happening and I needed to know what was going to happen next.
I really enjoyed the characters, especially the guys in the band. The enemies-to-lovers storyline mixed with the apocalypse was such a fun and unexpected combination. It definitely made for an entertaining and wild ride.
I’ll admit, I wasn’t a huge fan of Savannah in the beginning. She definitely had some things to prove, but I really liked seeing her character develop throughout the story. She absolutely redeemed herself by the end, and I ended up appreciating her so much more.
Overall, this was such a fun, fast-paced, adventurous read with plenty of intensity, drama, and romance. Definitely a book that kept me turning the pages! 5 stars from me!

This was a very fun very quick read for me. This is most definitely not your typical warm fuzzies kind of rom com. Savannah is an outspoken, bit of a bully, IT girl who is a front and center witness to Hell opening up and a straight apocalypse taking place. In typical IT girl fashion, Savannah hits the road with the band AKA the ones who sold their souls for fame. As the world burns around them, Savannah begins to form connections with each of the guys in the band. They are all determined to get life back to normal but they know they have to go straight to the source to undo all that has been done; straight to Hell.

I found myself laughing out loud so many times while reading The End of the World Tour. Savannah’s dry humor made her character so fun. This was my first GM Draevyn book but it most definitely will not be my last.

Short, sharp, and right to it. This is a fast, funny, demon-soaked ride with just enough chaos to keep you grinning. There’s not a ton of world-building or backstory. It moves quickly. But that works for the vibe.

I wasn’t always a fan of the FMC’s mean-girl/bully side, but she did grow on me as the story went on.

The 80s rock band setting is pure glittery fun, and the spice definitely delivers. Dark humor, quick pace, and demons saving the world. Fun, flashy, and a little wicked.

OMG YES!!! First off thank you G.M Draevyn so much for the Opportunity to advance read this book. I was so blown away with this book it was not even funny.
The End of the World Tour was an absolutely amazing book. I have to point out the authors amazing song choices for the book. Each chapter had a song and they all fit perfectly.

Let me tell you when I started reading this book I did not think it would go the way it did. When I tell you the author knocked me for a loop in such a good way baby I am in love with this book. I didn't in a long shot see The velvet Massacre boys being cryptids or demons whatever you wanna say. Vince, Riot, Sebastian (aka Bash), and Jude were just amazing character as well as our girl Savannah. I deep dived in this book so fast that I could not put it down no matter what I did.

In the beginning we meet Savannah the FMC and at first i really wasn't feeling her she had mean girl vibes. She just wasn't a nice person. Her friends Brielle and Cassidee all decided to go to a concert by The Velvet Massacre. Little did they know this would be life turning an hell raising literally.
Morgan Ward the town outcast made things happen that night that no one expected.

The banter between the guys and savannah was legendary to say the least. The ending was phenomenal. I loved that Morgan and chad go what was coming to them. I love the Hellhounds and Behemoths. I really loved that even though 2 of my favorite characters died returned even at a price.
I am excited to read more from the author.

P.S. A demon Flamingo really LOL And a haunted Rotisserie chicken lol i about lost it. Still need to figure out what bash is!!
F$CK CHAD IM GLAD THE SMOKE PUPPIES GOT HIM!!

Review of Advanced Reader Copy!

3.5/⭐️
4/5🌶️ open door but mild
MF 👫 relationship with Why Choose vibes💕
Standalone Romantasy 😊
Multi-POV

This book was a wild ride in a good way! It is fast paced but not so much that it’s clunky. For that reason I felt a little disconnected from the characters. The world was built nicely but I felt like I wanted more sometimes. Some of the descriptions felt repetitive to me but appropriate for the scenes.

Savannah, the FMC, is a lot to swallow. I hated her soooo much at the beginning but she seemed to develop into a decent woman later on. She remained a very busy woman, if you catch my drift, but seemed to let go of the ‘mean girl’ aspect as the story went on. At the end she was showing maturity and seemed to hold more space for others rather than self worship and admiration.

The boys were fun from the beginning and definitely kept the story going and made it more playful. The back and forth between them was hilarious. The MMC, Riot, has some good character development as well. He sets aside his own indifference for the greater good and falls in love while doing it.

All in all this is a really good read. I definitely enjoyed it and plan to encourage my friends to read it as well. I will be reading more from this author in the future and I can’t wait to see how well this book does!

Yall I was blessed to be an arc reader for the end of the world tour by & let me tell you ! such a good read ! You have the mean girl fmc Savannah find herself in a hellish situation &she shows up & shows out for the band, the velvet massacre. Armed with the 4 hottest men alive , Vincent, Jude, Sebastian, & Riot, Savannah has to save not only the world , but Ohio as well 🤣 I couldn’t help but laugh & enjoy these characters! If the tropes listed below are your vibe , go check it out ! Coming October 2026 so don’t miss out ! 👏🏽 one of my favorite lines was “…Are you fucking kidding me?” Sebastian whirls toward me furiously. “I AM STILL MAJESTIC!” “You look like a haunted rotisserie chicken.” “YOU LOOK LIKE YOU MAKE TIKTOK APOLOGY VIDEOS.”

* A dysfunctional (yet oddly alluring) band.
*  Demons with serious boundary issues.
*  Monsters. Lots of monsters.
*  Bad decisions. Sorry, mom.
*  Found family.
*  Romance that probably should’ve waited until after the apocalypse, but I digress.
*  Enough 80s glam metal references to make your parents nostalgic and actually proud of you for knowing who Guns N’ Roses is.

Witty banter? ✔️
Burn the world for him/her? ✔️
Remarks to make you laugh out loud while reading? ✔️

I loved the remarks made between Savannah and the rest of the band! I did feel the story could've been a little longer to help make me fall more in love with different characters in the book, but boy, do I want a best friend like Jude! The love between Riot and Savannah didn't have long to develop, so I would've liked to read more about them on their adventure to close hell, but it didn't stop me from enjoying the story!
The comments towards Sebastian in the beginning? 😭🤣 I was dying! I honestly was skeptical at the beginning of the book because of Savannahs mean girl attitude, but she grew on me throughout the book and I thoroughly enjoyed her by the end of the book! You won't regret giving this book a chance!

I had so much fun reading TEOTWT. I hope I can convey how excited I am about this book. Where do I start? The amount of banter I highlighted maybe? You have no idea.
Honestly, GM Draevyn had me at the tone in the blurb (yes, the rest of the book is like this!). Add to this some GnR (IYKYK), hellhounds, evil flamingos, murder deers and wendigo men. I mean… it doesn’t get any better.
Are you lost? Don’t worry, this is just me making it weird, in the book, it all makes sense.
Favorite quote:
«It’s honestly impressive that you don’t know when to shut the fuck up. »
Favorite romantic moment:
«If we survive this, » he mutters, eyes locked on me, «I’ll try really hard to become emotionally available for you. »

This book absolutely blew my mind! 🤯🔥 I couldn't put it down and somehow managed to read it in under 24 hours!

Fast-paced, action-packed and spicy, this book had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. 🌶️🔥 And honestly, the premise alone is something else—the main male characters are creatures from Hell AND an 80s-style glam rock band. 😈😍

With the world ending and Hell literally breaking loose, you'd think there wouldn't be much room for love, laughter or self-discovery… but somehow these characters find all three amongst the chaos.

I genuinely loved the chemistry between the characters, it was so fun to see them all developed together

This book was an absolute rollercoaster of chaos, comedy, emotion, romance, spice and 80s glam-rock energy, and I was HERE FOR ALL OF IT. 😂🔥🎸

I received an eARC of this book, and it's the best ARC I've ever read. The writing style will appeal to a lot of younger adults (definitely still 18+!) and the plot was incredible. It reminded me of Stranger Things meets Supernatural meets Black Veil Brides. The character growth Savannah goes through is well written. I HATED her in the beginning (that's the point of her character) but she definitely grew on me. Jude is an icon. He's definitely my favorite (sorry Riot). This book was able to portray the apocalypse and the seriousness of sacrificing your soul, while also making me sob, while also being hilarious. Be prepared for an emotional roller-coaster! I hope we get to see more of The Velvet Massacre!

I absolutely LOVED this book!! I will admit, it took me a little while to warm up to Savannah, but once I did, I was HOOKED!
And can we PLEASE talk about the guys?! 😍 I loved every single one of them, and THE BANTER?! 🤌🏻😂 Absolutely top-tier!! The back-and-forth had me giggling and kicking my feet!
This book had me laughing one minute, tearing up the next, and completely wrapped up in all the emotions! 🥹❤️ I loved the chemistry, the personalities, and how invested I became in these characters and their story.
I went through so many emotions reading this, and I wouldn't have it any other way! G.M. Draevyn, you definitely took me on a ride with this one, and I loved every second of it!

I got this book as an ARC and it was sooo good. I have been reading it whenever I could; at work, on brake, before bed, while cooking.. It was hard to put down!
This might be my first book with this kind of theme, as I have felt more drawn to other types of genres. But this opened my eyes. It is funny, dark and soo cute. I have been thinking about this from the moment I started it and to the point I finished it (just now), and I think this will stick with me for a while.
I don't know how many times I caught myself smiling while reading, but it was a lot.
This was a good one!
And Riot... Oof.

Oh my gosh, this book was absolutely amazing! I loved all of the characters and how they each interacted with each other. There was so many twists and turns that kept me engaged the entire time, I flew through this book. I loved seeing how Savannah changed throughout the story and the personal growth along the way through some terrible events. The scene with Jude absolutely broke my heart, if you know you know. I 100% recommend this to anyone who loves a dark romance with apocalyptic fantasy elements. Thank you so much to G.M. Ok I really didnt expect to like this book as much as I did. Savannah felt like the typical popular girl who you just cant stand because of how self centered they can be. And to be honest I really didnt like her in the beginning, but as the story progressed I came to understand and love her character and her development! But let's not forget the boys, they were H.O.T.! But Jude has my heart ❤️ as hot as Riot, Sebastian, and Vince were Jude just stole the show with his side comments and overall goofiness. My only complaint is that the book wasnt longer!

Can mean girls change? Can a bad full of hot guys be something more then what they seem? What should of been a typical Tuesday night in Iowa turns into something more. Savannah along with her friends Brielle and Cassidee go to a concert in an old barn to enjoy The Velvet Massacre. However this Tuesday the end of the world starts. Savannah finds herself surviving the Apocalypse with Roit, Vince, Sebastian and Jude the glam-metal demons band. Will they stop the end of the world or will Hell take over. This book was an absolute fever dream in the BEST way. 😂🖤 The banter, the chaos, the romance, and the completely unhinged creatures had me entertained from beginning to end.

The End of The World Tour by G.M. Draevyn is the kind of book that grabs you, drags you into its chaos, and doesn’t let go.

It was everything I wanted in a book and more! Banter for days, just the right amount of unhinged chaos and spice, plus hot glam metal rockstars who just happen to be….well you’ll have to read to find out 😉 I will definitely be thinking about this book and the boys of The Velvet Massacre for days 🥵
