Elyza and Boone’s story is a heartfelt second chance romance. These two were in love when they were young but a misunderstanding had them going their separate ways.
Boone would love for Elyza to see him for who he is now and not the boy who broke her heart. And his past always seems to be hanging over his head. Elyza has walls up and as much as she would like to, she struggles to see him for the man he is today.
Loved the journey for their second chance, the healing and tension made their HEA so worth it.

The premise of the story is good. the background surrounding the MMC's hang ups is a bit vague which is okay. The resolution though seems a bit more glossed over and almost feels swept under the rug before the book wraps up.

Elyza and Boone’s love story is sweet and loving. Elyza is his best friends baby sister. Someone that he should stay far away from but cannot quite seem to do so. Boone is the boy that comes from the unstable family. No father, no money and Elyza and her family welcomes him with open arms.
Teenage love is broken with a misunderstanding. Can years apart and close quarters right the wrongs of years past?
This book is filled with found family, small towns and second chances. The best overall romance formula ever! S. E. Fisher is an author I will be coming back to.

This small town romance, set in winter in Missouri will steal your heart instantly! Missed love rekindled, this story is warm, loving, funny, inspirational and just full of happiness. Spice level 0, so a good read for those looking for little to no spice. But that’s ok, this story is so good you don’t need it! I’m excited to see the next book in this series! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
