Whispering Falls is finally ready to show the world a little magic. The magic, unfortunately, has other plans.
The Harvest Moon Festival is supposed to be a celebration.

I am addicted to Hazel Whitmore’s Whispering Falls series. I love the development of the characters, and I love the cats, especially!
This book did not thrill me as much as the others I have read. There seemed to have been much repetitions of explanations to each other when it wasn’t necessary.
However, I loved being introduced to Eleanore, and I hope she spends more time in Whispering Falls.

Getting to meet a vital part of the Hale line was excellent. Meeting Eleanor who trained Wren and seeing their relationship was so special. It was truly a delight to read this book. I read it straight through. Good thing I had the long labor day weekend with nothing planned in order to do it! It was so good and had me stumped as to who had done it. The mystery was plain and clearly set out but I was surprised at who had done it!
Clearly Hazel Whitmore knows how to pull you in and get you involved in a story. And you learn a thing or two along the way, as well!
Highly recommend this one!

Ms. Whitmore once again dropped her line in the water, played her bait just right, and hooked me tight just as I was eyeballing her upcoming 'The First Keeper.' I guess I'm going to be forced to order Burglars and Broomsticks first. I had expected Wren to take the stage in Currents & Cauldrons, and she absolutely shone when given the chance. Everyone else showed up too, doing the things we expect from the estate cats, and Bartles, stuffy Bartles, is he going soft?
