Winning a dream trip to Cancun is something Jackie Bouchard never expected. Jackie is not one too hook up for a fling and when the rude man who has been staring at her for days makes a move, she promptly rejects him.
Erik Petrov is not in Cancun on vacation, as the enforcer to a Russian mob he is their to put an end to a group of locals who are raping women. Erik's interest though is not only on the group it is on Jackie. Erik has never felt so protective of a woman and after an initial rough start he finds himself falling hard for the tempting beauty.
Very fun read. I liked that it was mafia but a whole lot of romance. Erik is tough as nails and he is out right frank with who he is to Jackie. Jackie is weary at first but quickly realizes that there is more to him than she suspected. New to me author, going to check out more of her books for sure.

More heat, more excitement--more Petrovs
This book cranks up the heat and the excitement in the Russian Enforcers series! It's somewhat of a departure from the previous books, and I like the new direction.
It's a bit more rough around the edges, without veering into the "dark" genre, and the combination works. It's fun and entertaining, as with the previous books, and the writing is smoother. You get to see a wonderful inside glimpse of the close-knit Petrov family and how normal they can be when not carrying out mob killings or breaking legs.
I hope the authors keep writing the rest of the series like this one. The last two Russian Enforcers books were too G-rated and tame for my taste, although I still liked them. Dirtying up Burning Obsession a little bit actually saved the series for me.

This is the second book in the Petrov family series. It features Erik, a mafia enforcer (the new head of the mafia though is working with the FBI to make all his operations legal) and Jackie who is on vacation. Throughout her vacation, Jackie noticed that Erik always seemed to be nearby, however, Jackie waited until almost the end of the trip to give in to his attentions. Before long however, the attraction is unavoidable but then so is the danger. This was a fun short read from author Nic Saint and I look forward to more in the series.

I loved this book. A nice easy read which was exciting and entertaining. Loved the characters. I gave this book a 4 star rating because there was no epilogue, and I like an epilogue to finalise the ending of a book.

Erik and Jackie = Hot in Cancun!
4 1/2 Stars!
Jackie Bouchard is on vacation with her best friend, Susan, in Cancun. They are enjoying 2 weeks of sunbathing and relaxation, or so they think. The women are being followed and targeted by a group of corrupt cops. Jackie meets a man that she feels is rude, but very gorgeous. When Susan is attacked, Jackie discovers the real reason that Erik is at the resort.
Erik Petrov is an enforcer for the Russian Mafia. He and Bruno are at the hotel to get rid of the men that are targeting female tourist. Erik is not much of a talker and could not help, but notice Jackie. He is caught staring at her on many occasions instead of working. When Bruno and Erik take care of the man that attacked Susan, Jackie learns what the men do for a living, but does keep their secret.
The romance and relationship between Jackie and Erik develops slowly, but the sex scenes are very hot and steamy. Jackie thinks that it is just a summer fling and that nothing will come of it. Jackie and Erik both develop feels for each other, but they are unsure how the other feels. The corrupt cops continue go after and attack Jackie. When she is kidnapped, Erik calls in help from his family. After Erik rescues Jackie, he knows that he wants Jackie is his life always.
I loved both characters, Jackie and Erik. I am glad that the author let us get a look into the family unit that is the Petrovs (the family dinner). This story had romance, action, hot sex scenes, danger, good guys who are bad guys, and bad guys who are good guys. I recommend this book, especially those who enjoyed any of the other Russian Enforcer books. This book is part of a series, but can be read as a stand alone.

This is my first book by this author and I can tell she’s very talented, even though I didn’t connect with THIS story. Erik is wearing many hats, an FBI, contract killer, a mafia Enforcer with the Russian and part of the Petrov family. Jackie is a quiet, bashful young lady, who has a little self-esteem problem. As Jackie and her co-worker,Susan won a vacation in Cancun, trouble finds them by way of corrupt police targeting hotel tourist. As Erik and Bruno case out the resort for the “bad guys”, they also “case out” the girls and Erik spotted Jackie. Susan was free-spirited and looking for men and fun. Initially Susan was attack by one of the Mexican Rogue Policeman but was caught by Bruno. Jackie walks end on the murder evidence being covered by Erik and Bruno and freaks out. Jackie end up being kidnapped after reporting her earlier attack to the police. Erik calls in for reinforcement from his family (Petrvo). Overall, I didn't connect with Erik and Jackie enough to invest in their relationship although; the vacation fling turned into something more serious between the heroine and the hero.

Another excellent and riveting story from the author, which I enjoyed reading. Jackie and her friend Susan are enjoying an all expenses paid holiday in Cancun, but trouble seems to be following them around; but Erik and Bruno have them in their sights! There is something going on at the hotel, and it is not good. When Susan is attacked, Jackie discovers that Erik is an enforcer for the Russian Mob and he is trying to bring down a gang of local policeman who are working out of the hotel targeting tourists – not only that they appear to be getting away with it. Erik vows to protect Jackie and Susan, but his efforts are thwarted. Then when Jackie is kidnapped, Erik has no alternative but to call on his family for help, with the Petrov family being united once again. Eventually what is initially a summer romance develops into something more tangible for Jackie and Erik. This was very well-written and an interesting plot, which I would have no hesitation in recommending. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Full of suspense, drama, lots of hot sex and hearts full of love, this is a book you won’t want to put down once you start to read. As Jackie and her best friend Susan holiday in Cancun, trouble finds them by way of corrupt police. As Erik and Bruno case out the resort for the “bad guys”, they also “case out” the girls. You will need to read to find out who ends up with whom, and just how much trouble they can all find, even when they’re not looking for it. I totally loved this one, and patiently await the next in the series, hoping that all of the Petrov siblings get their own story of thrills and romance. Well done!

Jackie and Susan win an all expense paid trip to Cancun Mexico from their boss, they figure they will sit around the pool and soak up some rays while relaxing, never did they figure that a gang of crooked cops are out to attack them...so much for a relaxing vacation huh! Erik Petrov is at the resort to stop the gang from attacking and raping women, and selling drugs. Erik was like a big softy when it came to Jackie, he was instantly head over heals for her, it was great to see some of the other Petrov's in this book and I look forward to seeing more of this family.

Jackie and Susan win a trip to Cancun. A few days before their departure, Susan is assulted while on her way to the room she shares with Jackie. She is saved from rape or worse by Bruno, Erik Petrov's partner. Erik and Bruno have been sent to the resort to put an end to these assults. Erik has fallen for Jackie, but doesn't want her to get hurt so he tries to convince the women to cut their vacation short. The women refuse, Erik and Bruno will do their best to protect them, but end up calling in Petrov backup. Wow, great book with a lot of action. I loved it!

I received this free for my honest review. This is another great part to get to know more of the characters and new ones which I am loving reading. Jackie and her friend have won a holiday through the firm they work for, there is things happening at the hotel to the females staying there but is not being reported and trouble seems to be following them. This is where Bruno and Erik come into it, pretending to be customers they are watching who at what is going on waiting for their chance to act. Erik is drawn to Jackie and this is where it all starts amazing and you will love this second part to the Petrov family full of romance and excitement, can't wait for the next one.

Free book or an honest review.
This is a great book for this series. The way Erik is attracted to Jackie from the start is great. The drama that is place that brings them together is unreal. The way that Jackie takes to trusting Erik is pure fate. I just love that Erik isn't like most men, not smooth or stuck up. Just the real unsure knows what he wants and goes for it. Both feet he jumps in to this attraction. He can tell Jackie isn't like other girls, he knows he needs her for himself. Their story is a story they will tell their kids and grandchildren. Must read to see the newest couple in the Petrov family

The only thing I can say about this is the average is rated less then 4 with pretty much most arc reviewers rating 5's odd because most not reading as arc think it's around 3 or less ~> a little ironic come on arc readers it's meant for honest reviews not an obligation to rate 5 because you got for free. Thus far the entire series has been ok nothing to make you say omg wow after finishing. I've only been continuing because I have the entire series and got them all before starting book one~ sub par for me. Just my opinion.

Jackie thinks the big hulking guy may be cute but she still thinks he is a thug and what she sees later on only confirms it. Will the smoke finally turn into flames of passion or will it fizzle out?

I enjoyed this story of another member of the Petrov family finding their soul mate-Erik, who was in Cancun with his friend and co-worker Bruno: they were at a top hotel protecting the guests from a gang of thugs preying on them. Erik sees Jackie from afar and immediately feels an attraction. Once they meet they both feel it, and it's not long before they admit to themselves that they are in it for the long haul.

Another fantastic addition to the Russian Enforcer series and I loved it. The storyline is intense and full of suspense, corruption, murder and love. The characters are intriguing and have wonderful sexual chemistry. I look forward to reading more books by Nic Saint as I know it will be a "can't put this down" book every time.

Easy entertainment.
I enjoyed the second book in this series. There were some similarities to the first book, such as rescuing the damsel in distress (who doesn't love heroes?), but at least the circumstances were different enough to want to keep reading. Overall it was a good book!

You know the cozy mystery? This is the cozy Russian mob romance. I enjoyed it. A secretary on vacation and an enforcer for the Russian mob. He has been trying to get her attention. The she catches him cleaning up a murder see. There is some sex and violence, but skimmed over most. A pretty light read.

Jackie and Susan won a dream vacation at work, when Susan is attacked by a local gang the Russian Mob is there to rescue her. The attraction between Susan and Erik is hot the story is fast paced and exciting. Loving this series.

Great Book
This turned out to be a great book. It had everything in it love, laughter, suspense and the mob. It is a stand alone with the rest of the series about the rest of the family. I recommend this book to all.

Not my cup of tea. The writing wasn't developed and the characters were not personable. It was a disconnect between me and this book. It moved really fast with no real depth for me. Sorry.

For me this one was just an okay read. Storyline was romantic, suspenseful and action packed but just seemed to be a little too fast paced. Which made it hard to be believable. I liked the characters but had trouble feeling their instant love. Received an ARC copy from author for a honest review.

This book was very good! I thought this was the best of the series. There was so much more excitement with Eric Petrov and Jackie. This family sticks together through it all. I enjoyed how the brothers and sister came to the rescue for someone Eric cared about.

Very quick read, with intense action. I felt the characters fell in love too quickly.
