How on earth have I missed these books?

This is a fabulous taster and that's all it is and all it claims to be, you get sixteen (is it sixteen or fifteen?) extended excerpts and I was amazed to discover that I've only read three of these, how on earth have I missed all the others so for that reason alone I'm giving 5 stars.
I'm posting my reviews on the books I've already read.

The Diary of Bink Cummings: 4.5 stars

I downloaded this book while it was free but I just hadn't got round to reading it until a friend recommended it and so I thought I'd give it a try, I checked out the reviews first and they were all good and I do mean all, I found one 3 star and all the rest were 4 but mainly 5.
It took me a while to settle in that could be partly because the series I'd just finished had a very submissive female lead and Bink is anything but.
Once I'd got used to Bink and the writing style I loved it and.......Yes I hated it as well, but more about that later.
Bink is a force of nature, she's who she is and proud of it and makes no excuses for it and for that you've got to love her.
The guy in question...what the f*** I do seriously mean that, what the hell is wrong with him and this is the part I hate because even though I love MC books I'm a romantic at heart, I can't help it I just am and I really struggle with cheating and again seriously why? I just can't get my head around it, he wants her so why torment, tease and be just downright cruel to her. I know he's a man and I do like an alpha male and yes going through every woman in sight is fine until, well until it becomes cheating. Also early on in the book when he's...and she's watching.
As you can see I struggled with parts of this book but I couldn't put it down I was reading until the early hours and my first thought on waking this morning was the next book, so yes, I'm well and truly hooked, I just can't get enough the ending was fabulous although I'm only saying that because the next book is already out so I don't have to wait.
So many questions have been left unanswered, what on earth is going on with her mum especially, also her dad, what's the deal, what was going on at work and is she? she must be right?
Straight onto the next book for me, anyone know how many books are in this series?

Slow Burn: 4 stars

Rochlan 'Rock' North is the president of the Lost Kings MC, he's a good president who runs a good club, he always puts the club first after all it's his family but the first time he sees Hope he's gone, he knows she's the one for him and after the life he's led the irony that's she's married is not lost on him.
The synopsis for this book is good so there's no point giving my usual summary I'll just let you know how I feel about it.
This is a very tame MC read and while I normally prefer mine a little gritty this worked for me, it's ultimately a romance and while there's the initial 'insta' attraction it's not rushed, we're allowed time to get to know the characters and get a feel for them and their personalities.
Both Rock and Hope are interesting, intelligent and likeable, there's no TSTL moments or silly misunderstandings that lead on to yet more misunderstandings, you know what I mean.
Rock is thoughtful and kind, he's not afraid to show how he feels and I loved that he treats women with respect, all women, he's old enough to be comfortable in his own skin and he is.
This book held me from the first page to the last although the ending was a bit of a non-ending this is the first book in this series and their story continues on in 'Corrupting Cinderella' which I'm starting as soon as I've finished this review.
So on the whole I loved this book but then I love romance and this is in my opinion a very good romance.
It also has some very strong secondary characters which should make the future books interesting, looks like this could be a very good series.
Why 4 stars and not 5....it's told in the first person plus Rock and Hope and while I love dual POVs it wasn't always clear who's POV we were getting it would have worked so much better, for me anyway just to have had the name at the side.

Breaking Dragon: 4 stars

Most of the reviews for this book are phenomenal and since I love a good MC book I thought I'd give it a go and I read it in one sitting which shows you just how addictive I found it.
This book has so many reviews already so I'll keep mine short.
This book certainly held my attention, Dragon was intriguing and hot, Nicole was mouthy with more than a splash of attitude, the secondary characters were interesting and the story while not original as such was good, it was a true dirty down and gritty MC read.
It wasn't polished and smooth but considering the subject material that wasn't too bad, my main issue and it appears it's only a problem for me since I've read lots of reviews and I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere it is the fact that Dragon calls Nicole Mama, all the time. At first I found it irritating then annoying and by the end of the book I just couldn't stand it, there's 125 Mamas in this book and I don't know why it bothered me so much but it did it drove me bonkers, why Mama?
Anyway despite the fact that I hated the 'Mamas' I still enjoyed the book so I'm giving 4 stars, I understand this is a debut novel and I'll be looking out for the next book.

Fierce: 4.5 stars

I read 'Storm' the first book in this series last year and had very mixed feelings about it, Maddie annoyed me no end and ultimately spoilt the book for me so I just forgot about the series and moved on.
I've just downloaded 'Rev the Engine' and after reading the excerpt from 'Fierce' I just knew I had to read this book and I'm so glad that I did, I loved it.
Harlow James is a country girl who's been let down by every man in her life, after her boyfriend of 3 years cheated on her with her best friend she figured enough is enough and moved to live with her mother. Her mother's cafe is struggling and Harlow is helping out, she's not looking for a man but when her path crosses with Scott Cole Harlow can't deny just how attracted she is to him.
Scott is the Vice President of the Storm Motorcycle Club and his family is a mess, he's not interested in anything more than a one night stand or casual hookup or at least he wasn't until he came across Harlow.
I loved Harlow, she's a fabulous female character and Scott of course, it goes without saying, I'm female, he's so different to Harlow's previous boyfriends: 'I’d never had sex with such a dominating man and I decided then and there that I loved being dominated.'
I'm so glad I gave this book a chance.

I already own 11 of the 16 books in this sample collection and believe me, after you have read the excerpts, you will want to own them all and read the entire book. Biker romances are a favorite guilty pleasure of mine and sometimes it's not enough to read the "look inside" feature on Amazon...so go ahead and grab this free anthology and taste test the goodies for yourself. Delish!

Disappointed

I don't know what I expected but partial stories was not it. I've never read an anthology that are just teasers so will be more careful in buying them in the future. BUT, I admit that a couple of the snippets inspired me to read the books. Fortunately I actually had all but one of the series!

Great book if you want teasers.

These stories are a taste of the authors series. You are meeting the characters but not the reason behind the scenes. If you like teasers you'll find them and then depending on your tastes will want to find the books

This is a great collection of teasers. The anthology is packed full of smokin' hot scenes that will make you want to run out and buy the full length books. The authors did a fabulous job choosing excerpts to include, and gave you enough to get the gist of the story and intrigue you without giving away the entire story. This anthology really hits the mark of just the right balance and I definitely plan to put all the books on my TBR. I'm looking forward to reading more from these authors.

This is an anthology of MC books, so the stories include everything that encompasses, violence, sex, drugs, etc. and also includes 2 m/m stories, so keep that in mind. If you're unsure about MC books, this is a great way to ease into them and see what they are all about.

Good MC anthlogy

I enjoyed the excerpts of books and authors I have read. I loved finding new authors to explore! I was turned off from Bella Jewel with her first MC series I tried. However, I LOVED the excerpt for Joker's Wrath and cannot wait to read it! There are a few others I am going to one click too.

Enjoyed

It was interesting reading these snippets of MC books. Many I have already read, others have peaked my interest, and a couple --not so much. Excellent idea to put these together. Nice selection of authors. Looking forward to exploring some of the books.
