A Sci-fi Alien Warrior Invasion Abduction Romance
After an attack by the Klimnu, Eden’s knocking on death’s door. Pyra rushes her to the Denynso healer, and it turns out he has to do more than heal her. He has to bring her back to life. It’s the first in Denynso history, and no one knows what to expect or how things will go for Eden.
A side effect of the healer’s gift is a link bonding them together forever. Pyra is struggling to deal with his mate’s attachment to Ciyrs and doesn’t know what to do. The more he fights it the more the wall between him and Eden grows. If he isn’t careful he’ll lose her, and all she wants is for him to trust in her.
Later they find that wasn’t the only side effect. Now Eden is changing in more than one way. I enjoy the story very much. It was predictable but it was still a fun read. The story started where the first book ended. The story centers on trust between the hero and heroine. I had loved reading Pyra's POV as he stuggle with his jealousy between the attachment his mate had with his brother and his gratitude for his brother for bringing his mate back.

I really enjoyed part 2, really sweet story. It's a easy read, easy to follow and flowed smoothly. Had a good balance of everything. Looking forward to part 3!

Let me just say, WTF? I get that this series was clearly someone's first written literary work, but dang is it awful. The first book wasn't too horrible but as soon as I got into the 3rd chapter of this book, I had to DNF. The heroine is clearly having a bad dream about her abuse from her stepfather but because the body naturally reacts, Pyra, her "mate" starts to have sex with her while she is asleep and dreaming about her abuse. Who does that? I don't understand why it got so many liked reviews either. Clearly, 2015 was a bad year to be writing or reading anything.

What I liked: I like the premise of an alien planet similar to Earth and that she is a scientist sent there to study them.
What I disliked: But as soon as she gets there, she drops a bomb of info that could have been used to drag out the tension or plot of the story. No idea where the plot is going now since I have no intention to finish this series. I could overlook the grammar and spelling errors but the storyline and insta-love is awful. Don't get me wrong, I like an insta-love story but this has no build-up whatsoever and makes no sense. The transition from one scene to the next confused the heck out of me. And the whole, 'rape you while you're having a sexual abuse nightmare' scene, made me want to throw this across the room.
Will I continue to read the series or other books by this author? Definitely not!

The synopsis for this one is actually a really good summary of the whole story so I won't bother with that this time. This was better than the first one, but only because Eden isn't a violent psycho this time around. Her death experience has changed her. A lot more than anyone could have expected. And honestly, I thought it was a little ridiculous but whatever. I really did like the bond that was formed between Ciyrs and Eden from it though. Their relationship was a lot more believable and seemingly real than the one between Pyra and Eden. After a lot of frustrations, miscommunications, and a coma, Pyra and Eden finally figure things out between them. Which is good because it's soon going to be more than just the two of them.

That was a little nerve wracking. She dies and then Ciyrs brought her back!! Haha Pyra and his jealously.... that is what happens when bonded. Now she is physically changing into a Denynso. I had figured that will happened since they have different DNAs then humans. Now she is pregnant with Pyra's child so she would have to evolve into them. I love books where there are mates and bondings!! It makes the books more personal and more open with the characters and how extremely sexy it is!!

These novellas are super short but I have to stop. It's just not enjoyable at this point.
The writing is not fluid. They jump from one plot point to the next and have no build up of anything.

Second book in series. Make sure to read in order as each book is short and you could easily miss or spoil the whole story. This continues where Eden was attacked. Now a lot of changes will happen fast in the story, so expect anything. The one constant is the way Pyra feels for his mate. Starting book three immediately.

I cant believe I'm still continuing to read this. But, what a girl to do when the 1st book ended abruptly and hanging, left me wondering what happened about the h. I seriously put my thinking cap on how to rate these books, 1st and 2nd. Both books are short, like way to short, though the author managed to build a story, and a bit of back story too, around it. Still, I don't feel that's enough to keep me engaged with the story. It's just doesn't work well with me I don't know, maybe because I have to certain expectations, and oh-well that's not well met. I was intrigued to read this because I was just curious in what short of alien stories (and bed scene of course) would it tell. It turn outs pretty flat.
