I am a voracious reader (old lady) and a military wife. My first Mary K book was Ghost and I have read every book since, some more than once. Grayson like all the others has a little bit of everything to keep you reading, actiion, history, love story, family and a little crazy(amazing ghosts and human animals). Mary somehow makes it all work into a few hours of escape I look forward to the next adventure!
Some fanciful turns happen here. A second ( or third) generation family member finds destiny after years of struggle. Jennifer and Grayson are finally together but have some unfinished business. The enemy has been trafficking humans for years and the team needs to take them down. Grayson's team of Marines do the job and will join the Shadow team. The pursuit is captured with some gorgeous writing by the author.
The women especially the daughters of this family are strong no matter the situation. Jennifer is another perfect example. Grayson a warrior who been in love with her for years. Mary Kennedy never fails with providing her readers with a great love story, dangerous situation. A must read
