Camp Grinning Shadow
Some legends are just stories.
Some are warnings.
Seventeen years ago, on Halloween night, something happened to sixteen-year-old Kim Broussard in the swamps outside Houma, Louisiana. She never told a soul. She buried it, married, raised a daughter, and tried to forget.
The bayou never forgot.
Now her daughter Joycelyn walks the same dirt road, sent to Camp Grinning Shadow with nowhere else to go. She doesn't know about the mask. The crooked grin carved into pumpkins, into trees, into the thing that hunted her mother once and never stopped.
She's about to find out.
One by one, the campers around her disappear, left behind with the same terrible, permanent smile. The killer moves through locked doors, cuts the power, vanishes into fog thick enough to swallow a scream. And every morning, Joycelyn wakes with mud on her feet and less memory of the night before.
31 nights. One killer who's been waiting seventeen years to come home.
Read one chapter a day, all through October, if you dare.
Something is always watching from the tree line.
And it's smiling.
Some are warnings.

Camp Grinning Shadow
If you are able to only read one chapter of this story a day, you have unbelievable self-control.
I have none, apparently cause I read the whole story in one sitting.
It's a very intense who dun it slasher .
Perfect for the season.
Great storyline .
I read it for a buddy read for October and am glad it was picked. I'll be looking for another by this author.
