ARC REVIEW
Book: Double Booked: A Why Choose Daddy Dom Romance
Author: Piper Strickland
Release Date: September 22

Every once in a while, you receive an ARC that takes you completely by surprise, and I am so incredibly glad I had the opportunity to read Double Booked. This story was so different from what I expected, and it touched my heart from the very beginning.

Maci Kate has lost her husband and Daddy Dom to cancer, and the opening of this story is heartbreaking. But even while knowing that he would have to leave her, the man she loved was thinking about her future. Out of his incredible love for Maci Kate, he made sure that the people he trusted most would be there to take care of her when he no longer could.

And that is where Tifton and Malice come in.

They haven't only lost their best friend; they are grieving someone they loved deeply too. His final request brings them even closer to Maci Kate as they help her through her grief, protect her, and support her while she begins building a new future with Daddy's Inn.

What starts as caring for the woman their best friend left behind slowly becomes something deeper, but what I especially loved was that her first Daddy is never simply forgotten or replaced. His love remains part of their lives and their hearts while Maci Kate, Tifton, and Malice discover that grief and new love can exist beside each other.

There are moments in this book that will break your heart, but there are also wonderfully funny, sweet, protective, and loving moments that put it back together again. Maci Kate has such a delightful personality, and the family surrounding her makes the story even more special.

At its heart, Double Booked is about much more than a Why Choose Daddy Dom relationship. It's about grief, healing, found family, friendship, and allowing yourself to love again without letting go of the person you lost.

Piper Strickland has written an incredibly beautiful and emotional beginning to this new series. This one genuinely touched my heart, and I cannot wait to see where the series takes us next.

Definitely a must-read for me. ❤️

I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

I received this book as an ARC but the review is my honest thoughts.

This book was, to put it simply, a beautiful story about loss, grief, and the power of love to heal. Tifton, Malice, and Maci Kate lost the person they loved the most in the world to cancer. He was not only the guys' best friend but he was Maci Kate's husband and Daddy Dom. He left a video asking the guys to look after and love her as they have always done and her a video asking her to let the guys move in and take care of her the way he had. She buys the INN and they as well as the other guys in the family her Daddy had formed work together to fix the Inn and there was a little trouble but they got through it as a family. The three of them heal together and realize they have fallen in love and decide to have a relationship and still keep her Daddy alive in their hearts. If you are looking for a book that teaches you love can heal all things this is the book for you.

This book took me on a roller coaster of emotion. Beware, it starts off with a cry. Maci Kate has experienced the worst loss possible. But her Daddy would never leave her without a plan and has asked his two best friends to watch out for her. We then jump ahead a year to discover Maci Kate, her two protective caregivers and a few more "uncles" have all moved to a new farmhouse in a plan to open a kink friendly bed and breakfast. Both Tifton and Malice realize that their love has changed from platonic to romantic, but neither believe they are good enough for Maci Kate, never mind if this would be a betrayal of their friend. But thankfully after a few stumbling blocks they realize there would be no better candidate than them, two men who have cared for her and would never be resentful of her love of her husband. No worries that this story is all sad though. Maci Kate is brat and so funny I was laughing out loud. Amazing HEA.

I have to say this was an absolutely beautiful story. I found myself laughing and crying throughout the whole book. I thought Maci Kate was a very precocious little girl, but she was also suffering from the loss of her husband and Daddy after he passed away from cancer. I absolutely loved how Tifton and Malice were with her right alongside her and suffered the pain of loss of their best friend and idolised Maci Kate and eventually fell in love with her. Macy Kate was never alone in her suffering because she had her uncles around her to protect her and show her that she was never alone. I especially loved the sneak peek to the next book in the Daddies Inn series, Group Rate, which is Havoc’s story, and his Little girl from his past Elizabeth.

anI was given an advanced copy of this book to read and I am reviewing with my honest and fair opinion.

My heart is full! What a perfect start to this new series! How can you not love Maci Kate and her Daddy Doms! When she loses the love of her life, they all step forward to take care of her. She loves them all and they are there to protect her, but two specifically hold a special place in her life. She’s starting up a new venture called Daddy’s Inn and needs all their help. But while Trifton and Malice share special feelings for her, will she feel the same way? I love how all of them guard and guide her and make her feel so special. Maci Kate is such a breath of fresh air, and so funny to boot! I devoured this story and couldn’t get enough! Looking forward to the next book in this delightful series!!

This was a genuinely heartwarming story of loss and despair grown into a newfound family, relationships and love. It definitely made me cry quite a few times but also laugh because MK is so funny and adorable! The story is so well written which made the emotions feel even deeper. She is da baby ands you don’t hit her unless you want to be made into spider

That was the most heart-wrenching opening I can ever remember reading. I cried from the very beginning until the prolog was over. I could really feel that emotional pain physically. (Iykyk) This was such an endearing story. I loved every bit of it and can't wait to read more of the series. I am voluntarily leaving a review.
