1st story: Pomegranate part 2
The revealing of the shocking truth beyond the brutal murder case is so damn clever! And the artwork is so gloomy and sickeningly erotic! 4.5 stars!
2nd story: Kiss
This is a short comedy about a salaryman who is wondering whether his young wife is cheating on him or not. You just can't take this story too seriously. 2 stars.
3rd story: Beast of Shades part I:
Originally I was very excited about this manga-adaptation of Beast of Shades in this volume, because Beast of Shades is one of my most favorite stories by Rampo. But after reading the first half of the manga adaptation, I'm disappointed because the manga-ka had make So the suspense is gone! 2 stars only.
