Everyone in This Town Is Missing was definitely an interesting read and had enough of that “pull factor” to keep me wanting to know what happened.

The whole idea of the continuants reminded me of the UK series Humans, especially with the question of what happens when a synthetic version of you can basically become a better version of YOU.

Cora’s story was probably the most interesting part for me. Imagine creating something and then essentially being kicked out of your own company because your continuant can be a “better Cora”! And then seeing how the people of Morrow had also been affected by their own continuants? What a world to live in!

The mystery surrounding Wren kept me curious, although I have to admit that when we finally found out what was in her diary, my reaction was basically, “THAT was it?!” After all that buildup, I expected something a little more.

My biggest issue was the writing style. Some of the sentence structure was difficult to follow, and I found myself having to reread certain sections just to make sure I understood what was happening. I also felt the book went on a bit longer than it needed to.

That being said, the premise was unique, the story kept me interested, and I definitely wanted to understand how everything came together.

Interesting concept tiring to read

Very difficult to visualize the scenes. often the wording was Disjointed. The dark existence of the off grid town of Morrow spanning years was simply hard to believe.
The idea of a digital human was plausible and clever. The book is not enjoyable as the reader has to literally rummage through words to glean meaning. Its almost as if the authors wrote it for themselves.

An incredibly intriguing thriller built around a fascinating question: what happens when a digital copy becomes more believable than the real you? The mystery and psychological tension kept me hooked. Highly recommended for fans of smart, modern thrillers!

This story takes the idea of artificial intelligence and identity in a remarkably creative direction. The suspense kept building while the deeper questions about what makes us human stayed with me. A fantastic recommendation for thriller readers.

I loved how unpredictable this story feels. The idea of an entire town living in the shadow of their digital doubles creates an eerie atmosphere unlike anything I've read recently. A must-read for anyone looking for something different!

The premise alone is enough to pull you in, but the psychological depth makes the story even more compelling. It raises fascinating questions about identity, AI, and human connection while delivering plenty of suspense. Definitely worth adding to your reading list.

A brilliantly imaginative story about identity, technology, and the fear of being replaced by something more convenient. The suspense and unusual premise kept me turning the pages. A highly recommended read for fans of futuristic mysteries!
