Not a lot of recipes, but some interesting ones.

This is not a huge.recipe book. There are definitely some I will try. I thought the o r recipe that calls for a gingerbread cookie crust was pretty innovative. I think the purchase was okay as it did not cost a lot. I would buy some of their other cookbooks. All in all, recommended.

When I bake my favorite thing to make is either a pie, crisp or cobbler and Circle of Friends - 25 Pie, Crisp & Cobbler Recipes is one of a couple of recipe books I use regularly. My very favorite recipe in The Circle of Friends is the Amish Cream Pie. My family asks for it often. I like that it is quick and easy to make with only six ingredients.

I have my Granny’s crisp recipe, but I can never get it right. The Crisp recipes in this book, are easy to follow and I can’t wait to make one!! So glad I have this book!

Like this one, although it's a bit short compared to some of the other Gooseberry Patch books. Hey, it was free at Amazon so I can't complain too much. Plenty of basic dessert recipes with regular ingredients.
