FYI, first two books in series are written as author Karina Ashe, third is under author Lily Marie. Might cause confusion when wanting to finish the series if you don't have that nugget of info!

Marcus Hawkins suddenly needs a date - fast. When he sees his assistant, Leah Frane, he knows she is the solution to his problem. Besides he's had a thing for her since she started working for him so this is his chance to do something about it.
Leah was not thrilled when Marcus asked her to go to a charity auction with him because she was crazy about him but, being his assistant, couldn't let him know about her feelings. She was afraid to go with him in case she let her feelings show.
This was a nice, quick story that I really loved. Even with being a short page count, the character development was quite detailed. Leah had a bad relationship which made her decide to wear baggy, frumpy clothes. She hid her voluptuous body but Marcus was attracted to her anyway. Marcus was a billionaire so he could have anything he wanted and usually had a beautiful woman on his arm. But he knew they liked his money more than him which didn't make him feel great.
The only thing wrong with this was it left me wanting to read part 2 right away!

I liked some of this. But the stereotypical stalker ex just really pissed me off. She was so ridiculous and 2-dimensional. The bidding war between her and the heroine (hero up for grabs at a charity auction) was just silly. Must be nice to be able to outbid someone with fifty million bucks of someone else's money. I know the hero is rich and the money was for a charity - but that bid wasn't made to help others or with less fortunate people in mind, it was that high just to one-up an ex. And why outbid her by so much? The ex had only bid something like 5-6 million. Why jump from that to 50? I don't know. This book didn't work for me. Obviously, little things bothered me a lot and I remember them more than I do the romance between the MCs.

When Leah stepped into her boss office she wasn't expecting a one-in-a- million chance. A dream come true for all the woman that were drooling after Marcus Hawkins, Leah was the lucky one. Marcus was trapped and his salvation came in as his curvy and beautiful assistant. He knew he ought to have her one way or another. Will Marcus and Leah find that appositives attract ? Will passion and love decide their fate?
Ps, it's a short read but a good one, most to be enjoy while stuck in traffic, doing laundry or cooking.. But don't forget the soup it'll burn :)

Read this in the Money Shot anthology, where this author goes by Lily Marie...
Interesting office romance; Marcus is a billionaire gaming mogul-playboy; Leah is his assistant. He needs a date for a gala and Leah's it through some contrived set up by his brother). While the sexy scenes are steamy, what seems to make this story tick is the duo of Marcus and Leah.
The plot isn't very intricate and adding the crazy ex millionaire girlfriend was kinda lame. But it was still a quick fun read.

As I sit here fanning myself- I can not wait to hear what happens later tonight! I was drawn into this story from the beginning and was sad when it ended. Leah is Marcus's assistant who he finally sees after she's been working for him for awhile. I am not sure how long I can wait to find out what's next in this hot, sexy series!

I was given this book as an ARC for an honest review.
It was a very quick story, I read it in less then 30 minutes. I really enjoyed the story and hope there is more from Miss Ashe. The story between Marcus & Leah moved rather quick, but like I said it was a short story. The chemistry between these two is palpable, I hope they get together for more than this story.

Marcus Hawkins story was kinda of cute. He was a billionaire ladies man with a reputation for loving them and leaving them. Marcus has the hots for his frumpy assistant, who actually Is quite the looker. He talks her into going on a One Date, and then he wanted one more..

I was given this book as an ARC for an honest review.
I loved this book. Marcus would be an amazing book boyfriend and I hope his and Leah's story continues. A short story but I could not tear myself away. Can't wait to read about the other brothers also.

This was a really quick read. I really wanted to know more because it ended way too soon for me. Marcus and Leah were just getting developed as characters and their story just beginning when the book ended. What was there was excellent, I just needed more.

This is a quick read but it packs a lot in. Marcus is Leah's boss and when a situation presents itself he takes full advantage. It's sext, it's hot and it leaves you wanting more.

WOW!! Loved the book it was a short read but I enjoyed every minute of it. I just hope I don't have to wait to long to find out what's next in this hot, sexy series!

Do not like short series books
This was well written, Fun and a feel good read. It should have been put together as one book. But hate series books.

Awesome story so far
I liked this story a lot. Marcus is very appealing and convincing Leah to do what he wants. The next part has to be as good if not better.
