Being the CEO of Leviathron Interactive at thirty-two is supposed to put Adrian Cross on the map — a voice to be reckoned with in game development.
Instead, he’s acquired a company that already collapsed once.
Behind the polished image of a successful gaming studio, something doesn’t add up. Projects that should have thrived are now cancelled, and systems behave in ways no one can explain.
And buried deep in the code, a reference that shouldn’t be there. No records. No documentation. No one willing to claim it. Just a single word. Noctum.
Determined to get their most important game, Averra, up and running in time for GameFront Summit — the event meant to put Leviathron back on the map — Adrian picks up the trail, expecting logic. Reasoning. Answers.
What he doesn’t expect… is Noctum to come with a pulse.
Author of dark romance that delve into obsession, redemption and the darker side of love and family 🌙 — served with morally gray characters and spice. 🔥
I absolutely devoured this book. Adrian Cross has taken over a game development company and is trying to get their most important game Averra ready for the GameFront Summit but something isn’t right - the word Noctum is found hidden deep in the code with no reference and so he sets out on a mission to uncover what it means. What he finds however is a person named Noctum and he hunts them down using discord servers to get to the bottom of what’s stopping Averra from being able to work fully.
Kip has a wonderful ability of bringing you fully into the story. You feel like you’re apart of something and so much so I was so invested in Adrian and Noctums connection that I forgot the reason for them connecting in the first instance and was brought back down to earth with a crash - in the best possible way.
Having read all of Kips books there was some wonderful surprises in this one that I was super excited to find.
