A story about extreme optimism in the face of dire circumstances. If you love aviation and a happy ending this is the story for you.

Don Smith has written an auto-biographical "self-help" book about achieving your dreams. The author's dream was to become a commercial airline pilot and he retired as a Senior Pilot for United Airlines.

The story is told in small chapters from his childhood to after he retired. It is rich in detail, and inspiring! The bottom line is keeping the dream alive through determination, optimism, enthusiasm and more.

It will help if you enjoy aviation stories!

Deeply enjoyable!

A rich story. It sucked me into the 'vortex' of the lessons, wisdom, historical references, & characters ( all real people ) right away.

It earned every one of the five/5 stars. No question.

This is a book which I'll gladly recommend to people whom I serve in my business - friends/family - and even folks I just meet at networking events :)

Great story about overcoming despite horrible circumstances, maintaining a positive attitude in spits of adversity and setbacks, and constantly keeping the dream alive - his ultimate goal. The questions at the end of each chapter are fantastic points to ponder to increase your own level of growth and understanding.
