Kodiak Point #1-3

Kodiak Point Anthology #1-3: Kodiak's Claim / Outfoxed by Love / Polar Bared

Rate this book
Welcome to Kodiak Point, where the wildlife might wear clothes, but animal instinct rules the heart.

Includes previously released titles:

Kodiak's Claim ~ Hands full taking care of his clan, the last thing this Kodiak bear needs is a woman poking her cute little nose into his affairs. But when she refuses to back down--and shows the courage to stand up to him--he can't resist the allure of a curvy city girl.

Outfoxed by Love ~ A man of few words, Boris has a firm way of saying No, but a
determined vixen knows he's her mate. Jan has not had much success in getting her bullheaded moose to notice her, but all that changes when her life is put in danger.

Polar Bared ~ When Vicky accidentally slides into the side of a polar bear, she doesn't expect to fall in love. Eaten yes, perhaps used as a chew toy, but become the object of a bear's affection and lust? Crazy! Almost as crazy as the fact the polar bear turns out to be a man who growls, and roars.

~ New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author

Hello, my name is Eve Langlais and I am an International Bestselling author who loves to write hot romance, usually with werewolves, cyborgs or aliens .

I should warn you, I have a twisted imagination and a sarcastic sense of humor something I like to let loose in my writing. While well known for my shifter stories, I am also extremely partial to aliens, the kind who like to abduct humans and then drive them insane...with pleasure. Or do you like something a little darker, more serious? Then check out my cyborgs whose battle with humanity have captivated readers worldwide.

Read and reviewed but that review is missing.
As this is one of my favourite series by this author, I love having these box sets for easy rereading. I also have these in audible.
1 - KODIAKS CLAIM
4.5 stars. This looks like becoming another great series by this author.
Once again Eve has written another fun, interesting new series set in Alaska. This time we have a set of mismatched shifters that all served in the military together. I kid you not, a moose, a fox, bears, (polar and grizzly) and more.
Reid is the alpha and boss and has just about had enough of everything going wrong, but when he has to make an insurance claim his life will never be the same.
Enter Tammy, the insurance investigator who believes he is making a false claim.
Loved the carry on between these two.
Once again laugh out loud moments. This looks like becoming another great series by this author.
2 - OUTFOXED BY LOVE
4.5 stars. What silly fun with an interesting sub story.
Once again Eve has written another fun, interesting story. This looks like becoming another great series by this author. I will not synopsis this book as I dislike that but I will say Eve writes in a quirky style that I love.
Boris is a very stubborn moose who knows who his mate is but won’t accept it.
When Jan is kidnapped and Boris rushes to save her he gets quite a shock. Jan is not the delicate flower he thought she was. Her weapon collection is as good as his and she knows how to use them all.
The sub story emerging is keeping me on edge. I have an idea who HE is but will have to wait and see if I am correct. Have already pre-ordered the next book Polar Bared.
Keep them coming Eve.
3 - POLAR BARED
Keep them coming.
I just loved Vicky, she was so quirky and clumsy but in a funny way.
Gene goes from being the baddie in the previous books to being??? A non-hero but that is not true.
You will have to read to find out about Gene and what is really going on.
Another fabulous read with the usual laugh out loud moments.
Loved when Gene was trying to push Vicky up the ice and his nickname for her. P.I.M.A. Brilliant. But two more perfect people for each other I have yet to find.

Fun collection of Langlais shifter stories. She always adds a humorous twist to them and isn't afraid to create weird pairings.

My favorite may have been the one I didn't expect to enjoy as much: Jan (arctic fox shifter) and Boris (moose shifter). I mean. Seriously. But the whole premise that Boris has avoided Jan for years because of his own stupid assumptions about her and who she actually is and wants from life versus who she actually is was pretty satisfying to read. How many of us have been written off by a dude who stupidly thought we all want some flat sexist trope of a life and have personalities and interests to match it?

Jan reminds me a lot of:

But older and even more deadly. How Boris missed that right in front of his usually observant face is pretty amusing. Almost as amusing as when Jan starts to fight dirty and stops waiting for him to figure things out on his own.

All three stories are fun shifter reads that are not-quite-instalove, but pretty close. I will definitely be checking out the other collection with the rest of the series.

I thought those series was okay but I think I will go back to reading the instead of listening on audio. I was not a fan of how the narrator voiced the female heroines.

I started listening to the first of these books and ended up binge reading them. I got so involved in the stories that my husband said I kept cheering on the bears without knowing. I am now looking to see if there are any more in the Kodiac Bears before I start another of her boxsets.

Fantastic

I started this series with a free peek from the author. Boy was I hooked. Suspense, hot guys, sensual love. And a woman touting a frying pan. Each story brings you closer to each member of the clan. Absolutely love the story and the vivid description of the cold North.
