** Reader Alert **

This book is a Lycan Short Story. As requested by some readers who wanted a little snack before bedtime but can’t seem to manage to put a book down until the end. It has approximately 12,000 words, and I like to think of it as a meet and mate. Hot and spicy with a little humour.
Please do not purchase if you’re expecting it to be a novella or if you don’t like hot sex of the Lycan kind. Everyone else, sleep tight and maybe, just maybe let the Lycan have a bite.

Nessie wants to prove something to her brothers and doesn’t mind an adventure along the way. Dragging her sister Ella along with her to the Isle of the Faerie goblet and the packs that guard it might not have been the best idea, especially when they are chased across the land and Nessie puts herself in danger to assure her sister escapes being captured. But when things go horribly wrong and certain death awaits her, there is only one man who can save her… her mate.

Enjoyable short story

Of M L Briers' short stories, I do believe this is my favorite. The story quickly captured and held my attention. I liked Nessie's adventurous spirit and sense of humor. I also liked that Drew, while an Alpha, did not immediately go all cave man on her and expect blind obedience. I am looking forward to reading more by this author.

I did like it except I was utterly confused on the whole Fairy Goblet thing. Not sure exactly what it was and what role it played in the book. Other than that I loved it.
