SOOOO,

You still wear Channel N. 5".

Bien à vous,

Cippy

both the main characters and their relationship were quite annoying to read and follow along. i found it difficult to believe in the chemistry of their decade-spanning love for each other when 90% of the book was just them running away from each other after reconnecting. It genuinely felt like they spent more time apart than together in this book. that would have been fine if i was rooting for their love; instead i found myself not caring if they did or didn't get back together.

i now understand why this book got 3 stars, bc what is that ending?!?!?! what do you mean 90% of this book is them being apart from each other and she’s hating his guts just for him to open a charity she folded? and also that second breakup was her being stubborn 😭 didn’t she just had this conversation with him on how he didn’t talk to her first before THE break up?!? like i feel like i’m only hating the girl but the author made it seem like she’s doing all this push and pull to the boy, he was already distancing himself, then she followed him, called his name, they fought, then she said she’s done. and it happened twice ✌🏻. girl make up your mind fr. i gave this 4 stars bc i love angst stuff lmao

Didn't enjoy this as much as the first in the series. I liked the way that the timeline ran parallel to the first book but that meant that there were bits of the story that were repeated. It was also a bit longer than felt necessary.

The MMC had an unrealistically fast character arc and the food bank thing came out of fucking nowhere. She was right to stay away.
