The Grip Tightens
Reading this book gave me a better perspective on how someone with such a vulnerable mind can be manipulated and twisted by a mentor as deceptive as Heylil.
Mallus doesn't know it yet, but he's being bound tighter and tighter in the grip of his corrupt master, and with each lesson, Heylil seems to squeeze away whatever purity Mallus may have left.
Man, this is an improvement from The Recruit! And way to leave us hanging! 😂
