Shadow of the Moon

by Domenica White

Survival is the only language Nyx speaks. Why she must fight so hard remains a mystery. As the final descendant of a fallen house swallowed by shadow, Nyx’s life is governed by a single, desperate promise. She must survive at all costs. But as the pressure mounts, the question isn't just how far she will go to keep her word—it’s whether she will break before the end. Then, the world begins to shift. It starts with microscopic changes, pulling her into a silent, creeping unraveling. Deep-seated rivalries resurface, ancient secrets bleed into the light, and a lurking threat begins to close in. It doesn't make a sound. It simply waits. Discover Shadow of the Moon, the haunting first installment of The Luna Cycle, a dark fantasy where tiny ripples trigger cataclysmic ends.

About the author

Domenica I. White writes fantasy shaped by moonlight, magic, and the beautiful chaos of real life. She lives in Arizona with her husband and a cat who rules the household with velvet paws and iron will. When she isn’t building worlds or wrangling cosmic plotlines, she’s drinking coffee, baking at midnight, or accidentally hyperfocusing her way through entire days. Shadow of the Moon is her debut novel and the beginning of The Luna Cycle.
