Literally the best book to get you in the mood for fall.
The banter between Blaire and Jameson (Jamie) was so damn good. I loveeee Blaire and her spunk. Jamie was everything I wanted and more, he worked so hard to get Blaire. I was swooning honestly.


Sooo whimsical and full of fun magic. I just ate this one up.
If you want the best fall vibes grab this one asap.

Flirty Fall Fling is the PERFECT fall romance! It gives all the witchy vibes, a haunted house, an adorable small-town setting, and out of this word chemistry between Blaire and Jamie. Their whole “just a fling” arrangement was obviously never going to stay casual and watching them fall for each other was so much fun! One of my favorite parts though were the little supernatural touches throughout the story.

If you’re looking for a sweet (and spicy) romance with all the fall vibes, then make sure to grab this one. I can’t WAIT for the next story in this series.

The queen of fall has spoken and autumn is officially here!!

I loved Blaire and Jamie so much together!! A grumpy skeptic and a witch together is just pure fall perfection. From their chemistry to their banter I was completely obsessed with these two.

Yes this book is very funny and cozy and has all the fall/spooky season vibes, but it’s also spicy - I feel like there is a pumpkin pie spice pun to be made here, but I just can’t quite get it to work 🤣

If you are familiar with the Situation series you might just recognize Jamie (And a few other names too) - I really loved him in this book. Blaire was an absolute witchy delight and it was so much fun to read their story,

The story was meh. I couldn't put my finger on it what was wrong with it, but at the end I read the author's biography and there I found the best discription to what I was reading (all 400+ pages): "Lyra Parish is a hopeless romantic obsessed with writing spicy Hallmark-like romances."

Exactly that: 50% Hallmark and 50% sex. The Hallmark part was okay, but nothing too special (my only remark is that the blurb is not right, because actually she is the one who rejects the idea of a relationship between them time and time again. Very annoying.) The sex was too much, I was skimming the half.

Seasonal yes; swoony not that much (more meh and annoying - Jamie was the only one trying, hard and unrealistic...).

Flirty Fall Fling is an independent spin-off of the Cozy Creek Collection featuring characters from Fall I Want, although it is not as spicy as Fall I Want. I did not know what to expect with this cover, but it is actually pretty funny and gave me fun Halloween movie vibes. Although we do get to go back to Cozy Creek and Autumn and her crew make appearances, you do not have to read Fall I Want to get this story. All is explained, and somehow she does so without spoiling Fall I Want, acting almost like a blurb within a story.

​The same can be said for the rest of the series. Although it is clear to me that the three roommates in this story are going to be the center of the series (and the next book is going to feature Winter, and I am assuming the summer book will be Josie), it seems like you do not have to read this book to get into the next one, even though they are connected. Obviously, you want to read these books in order, but Fall I Want did not have anything to offer this story other than creating a background story for this branch of the tree.

​Flirty Fall Fling had a great start but became repetitive between the halfway and two-thirds mark. There are eight "good times" in this book: two of them are tempts, one is a threaten, and two are had. So, just pop some chocolate in your mouth whenever you hear a variation of the phrase. It does redeem itself, but I just wish it spent more time on Blaire, her roommates, and the manor rather than focusing solely on the romance with Jamie. That is when it became a little dull, as it was a bit overkill.

​I was all set to give this book 3¾-stars, but when I saw the line about the oatmeal raisin, I had to give it the full 4-star treatment. Even that little section of the epilogue felt like we were starting another story, which is why I say you probably do not have to read all these books together, although I will definitely be doing so.

​Recommend to others: Yes! This is definitely not highbrow literature, but it is hilarious, cozy, and very spicy. It is perfect for the spooky season.

I already have a feeling this new series is going to become a new favorite from Ms. Lyra. You guys know I’m an absolute sucker for a seasonal read, and this one delivered everything I wanted for the perfect start to my fall reading: witchy vibes, cozy magic, plenty of spice, lovable characters, and a romance that had me smiling more than once.

Blaire and Jamie were such a fun rom-com pairing. Their chemistry, banter, and undeniable pull toward each other made them the kind of couple you can’t help but root for and by the end, I was definitely left wanting more.

Two things especially stood out to me.

First, I loved how the magical elements were written into the story without making it unnecessarily complicated. The witchcraft, coffee readings, spell work, haunted house, and whispers of curses all bring this wonderfully eerie, whimsical atmosphere, but they never overshadow the romance. The magic feels like seasoning rather than the entire meal, adding just enough charm to make the story feel distinctly autumnal.

Second, there’s so much more heart here than I expected. Beneath the humor, spice, and lighthearted moments, both of our MMCs are carrying emotional baggage from their pasts. Their struggles give the story a little more weight without taking away from its fun, cozy nature. What starts as something that could have easily been just a fling gradually becomes something much more meaningful, a story about learning to trust again, allowing yourself to hope, and finding the courage to open your heart to love.

And honestly? That’s what made this one work so well for me. The magic sets the mood, the romance brings the heat, but it’s the emotional heart underneath it all that makes Blaire and Jamie’s story linger.

A cozy, witchy, spicy little escape that feels like fall in book form—and exactly the kind of seasonal read I was craving.

She’s an absolute QUEEN of nailing the fall aesthetic. So while I might be currently melting alive in the Texas heat, my SOUL was immersed in the best fall vibes.

Not only is this literally, a flirty fall fling, it’s also a witchy romance! Sisters! Unite! Witches are such an icon for powerful women and that truly captures who our FMC is. I adored Blaire and wish I could be besties with her and move into a haunted house!

Our grumpy billionaire skeptic, Jamie? He was so wonderfully down bad for Blaire. For a man who has never wanted a relationship to last longer than 30 days, this man was putting in WORK to have Blaire forever.

This was such a fun, spicy, and cozy fall read! 🍂🎃 I absolutely loved all the witchy, Halloween vibes, the small-town setting, and the chemistry between Blaire and Jamie.

Blaire and Jamie were such a fun pairing! Their banter, undeniable chemistry, and the secret “Flirty Fall Fling” had me completely invested. I loved watching their relationship turn into something neither of them expected, with plenty of spice along the way. 🔥

And can we talk about Charlie the cat?! 🐈‍⬛ I absolutely loved him and every scene he was in!

The characters were lovable, the romance was fun, and the whole story gave me exactly the cozy, spicy Halloween read I was looking for. 🍁🎃🔥

In love with this book. PERFECT start to the “BER” months and prepping for Fall.

The Witchy Vibes were on point. The Friends-To-Lovers was perfect and I am usually not a huge fan of this genre. The storyline was never dull. This book made me want to take PTO, just so I didn’t have to put it down.

I have fallen in love with the Romance genre thanks to Lyra’s books and I can’t wait to continue to down this road and read every books she has written. Almost met that goal too! 🤗

Ended up better than it started, but there were too many ‘interesting’ choices made by the author that took me out of the story. It had a whole Practical Magic undertone going on, and had it gone more pumpkin spice than full cringe I think I would have enjoyed it more. Not my vibe, but I could see how others might enjoy it.

This book begins in Pine Haven near Cozy Creek, Colorado, with an inherited historic landmark, a haunted house, witchy secrets, and all the autumn charm you could possibly want. Blaire works alongside her best friends, Josie and Winter, and being a gifted witch runs in her family. Yup, I’m already hooked and can’t wait to see where this goes! 🍂✨🔮

Jamie, meanwhile, is on a mandated retreat in Colorado after his playboy lifestyle has become a little too much for the board of his sports foundation. He is supposed to commune with nature, relax, unwind, and most importantly, stay out of the board’s way. Unfortunately for Jamie, he is going stir crazy.

The kitschy autumn vibes in this book are off the charts. 🍂 This gets intriguing fast as Blaire’s abilities and Jamie’s openness are both called into question, although it is strange seeing Blaire doubt herself when she is clearly such a gifted witch.

From middle of the night séances to mysterious rules, I really like where this is going. In true Queen of Autumn fashion, the vibes are not disappointing at all, and neither is the connection between Blaire and Jamie. Oh, this gets steamy, and I am here for it. 🔥

Coffee, spells, and all manner of witchy things give this book so much cozy charm. Between the autumn festival, cozy moments, small town gossip, and billionaire charm, I am absolutely swooning over this storyline. There is so much autumn magic packed into this book that this story alone could get you into all the fall feels.

OMG, I wish I could quote this book because that part was twisted and juicy and added so many more layers to this fall fling. 👀 This story goes past steamy and straight into sizzling territory. I love how this fling turns into so much more, and the ending had me smiling and wanting to devour the next book.

This was the perfect autumn read, with romance, witchcraft, small town charm, and a heaping dash of joy. 🍁✨

I loved everything about this story, from the tropes to the way it unfolded. I loved Jamie, especially since I already knew him from the other books, and I absolutely adored Blaire. She was perfectly portrayed, and I loved watching her navigate everything that came her way.

I loved all the autumn vibes, the small town charm, and especially the moments that really made this story shine. I was completely obsessed with these characters and praying for no last act breakup, and thankfully it came true! 🙌 That made this book even better.
