Psychic Surveys Book Eleven: Danny House: A Gripping Supernatural Thriller

Danny House is the eleventh in the bestselling Psychic Surveys series - chilling paranormal mysteries filled with compelling characters, shocking twists, and hauntings that linger long after the last page. Perfect for fans of Barbara Erskine, Darcy Coates, Susan Hill, and classic haunted house fiction.

Some places remember everything.

Danny House has stood empty for decades. Its corridors are silent. Its windows are boarded.

Waiting.

When psychic investigator Ruby Davis joins podcaster Paul Evans to investigate the former children's home, she expects to uncover another ghost story.

She's wrong.

The search for a missing woman leads Ruby from the Sussex countryside to the mist-covered Somerset Levels, where she discovers that not everyone who disappears wants to be found.

Some places are haunted. Some people are too.

But for others, death is only the beginning.

"Paranormal. A gift that keeps on giving!"

Shani Struthers has done it again, with another absorbing instalment of the Psychic Surveys series. The stories may be edged in darkness but the overriding goodness in human nature always triumphs in the end. No gratuitous sex or violence, just wonderful characters and well constructed paranormal mysteries.

This story involved historical abuse at a former children's home, where violence and sadism were an everyday occurrence. The story was both distressing and morally uplifting at the same time.

A good read and highly recommended!

Fantastic as usual!

I absolutely love Shani's books. The characters draw you into their experiences and feelings and you live each moment thoroughly. Tthe Psychic Survey series is amazing from start to the end of this latest book 11 and having finished I am already looking forward to the next one. Shani herself is a lovely author who really connect with her audience and cares for her followers making each one feel like a valued individual. I have a number of her signed books which I treasure. Branch out and read her other books, including the Christmas releases, especially Alice, you will not be disappointed and will likely be drawn into the amazing world of Shani Struthers.

Psychic Surveys are back, Ruby and her team, Ness, Theo and Corinna join a supernatural podcast host to assess an old children’s home. Very different from previous stories this still packs an emotional punch as the past and present collide and secrets are uncovered.

As always Shani’s writing is wonderful and rich, the characters incredible with an atmosphere that is both unsettling and haunting.

Fantastic Reading

I couldn't put this instalment of psychic surveys down. It is a great appraisal of supernatural Glastonbury. The point of the story hits you right at the end. The reader is puzzled because at first you think dozens of bodies will be found at Danny house but there is very little evidence of psychic activity. A great read Shani. I hope you write more psychic surveys. My favourite series of books.

Another great read from this author!

Having read all the Psychic Survey books, I found this one to be a little different. However it is still a great book. Many crooks and turns and characters we all have grown to love.
