Sadly in today’s world it is common knowledge that a child is abducted every few minutes. Worse is the fact that most are never seen alive again. There is nothing more devastating! On a rare occasion a blessing happens and a child is found; some even years after their abduction.

This is the story of one woman’s childhood abduction and the abuse she endured. As her past comes back to haunt her, she has to find a way to overcome it and when she does… she finds that it also eases her horrific nightmares.

Piper makes a life changing mistake of placing herself in a situation that sets her on a path leading her to hunt those who prey on the ones who cannot protect themselves…putting herself on the line, no matter the outcome.

Note from author: This book contains graphic material! I wrote this because I have often wanted to stop the madness myself. Since I can’t in real life…I write about it. My cousin’s child was abducted, held for a time and then murdered. I too was a victim as a child in other ways, and Piper Vale is my inner vigilante~

Piper Vale was terribly hurt as a child. The scares she wears now as an adult are both visible and invisible. In this story we meet Piper and learn about the terrors she saw and endured as a girl. Terrors that now haunt her as an adult and push her, and her friends, down the road of vigilante justice.

I enjoyed this story and all of its characters. This isn't the normal type of story Robin Renee Ray's fans are used to seeing from her. These are normal people with problems none of us would ever want to deal with. Piper Vale has to take care of herself, and boy, does she!
