About the author

Strix grew up watching sci-fi films on a farm in Iowa, always dreaming of bigger, better things for humanity. He saw the world for a spell, joining the US Marines and spending two years in Okinawa, Japan and meeting all kinds of wonderful new people, thankfully far removed from combat. Afterwards he moved home to Iowa and began a career in IT, devouring any space exploration news he could find and ripping through sci-fi novels. His imagination not satisfied, Strix created worlds of his own for he and his friends to escape to in many a Dungeons & Dragons session.

After much encouragement from friends and family he finally struck upon inspiration for a story in a science fiction setting and began crafting the universe it would occur in. He looks forward to bringing this universe to life on the page, and to many future stories he has planned!

ARC Review- This is the follow up to “Of Oracles and Sirens”. It takes place many years after the first book (and honestly I am dying to know more about what happened in between). This story is a bit of a departure from the first, although many of the same characters are involved. I did miss the Pod! Good character development and excellent world-building. Wonderful writing! There is so much room to do so much, I am really looking forward to reading more! And what stunning books covers for this series!!!
