Conflicted about losing her yet certain he’s not father material, he decides to pursue an opportunity in the Gladiator Guild he hopes will provide the money Dosy will need to raise their child. I breathe stories. I dream them. If it were possible, I'd eat them, too. (I'm pretty sure they'd taste like cotton candy.) I can't escape them - they're everywhere! Which is why I write! I was born to bring the crazy worlds and people in my mind to life, and I love sharing them with as many people as I can.
I'm also the bestselling, award winning, internationally acclaimed author of over sixty titles and counting. I write speculative fiction in multiple subgenres of romance and fantasy, contemporary fiction, books for both teens and adults, and just about anything else I feel like writing. If I can imagine it, I can write it!
I live in the desert of southern Arizona with a pack of spoiled dogs and Tubbs, the Godfather cat who rules them all.

Having read all of the mini series so far, Niko has become my favourite character so far!! Dark, handsome, with a quick temper (what's not to love). This mini series is setting up the scene for Omega, and I'm already getting withdrawals from these little insights into each characters backgrounds. I really don't want to have to wait for the next instalment Lizzy?? *taps foot impatiently* But with all Lizzy's story's good things come to those who wait, and that's exactly what I'm going to do.......
This series must be read in order. The first book is Alessandra. The second book is Mismatch. The third book is Phoibe. The fourth book is Lantos. The fifth book is Theodocia. This is the sixth book. I can't wait to read Cleon!
Niko can not handle being a father. He hates what loving Theodocia makes him feel. He never thought he truly had a heart... Much less one capable of falling in love with another person! The broken heart alone might kill him. Finally getting a chance to fight for a chance to meet the Patron of the People's Champion seems like a good time and place to unleash all the rage burning inside him. At least if he dies here it will mean something... And send a big fat check to help raise his child. Will he triumph over the other contestants and win the Audience with the Patron? Or will the unnamed beast kill them all? Can he even pass the written questionnaire he needs to fill out to compete? Will he become an Olympian?
***This series is suitable for young adult through adult readers who enjoy paranormal in their modern fantasy suspense thrillers filled with the Old Gods and a bit of scifi :)
Oh my. Just when I thought I already found a book boyfriend in this series Lizzy throws me a new one to lust after. He is strong and a bit on the naughty side. He didn't have the best life growing up and when things seem to be finally looking up he gets some news he is not really sure how to handle. His and Theodocia's relationship is about to be tested. I am very curious to see how the decisions between these two will affect all those around them. Piece by piece the story is unfolding and everyone seems to play a very important part and have their own reasons they make the decisions they do. With Niko and Theodocia I can definitely feel the love they have for each other but in this world- is that enough? I guess we will find out #OmegaFandom
I received a copy in exchange for an honest review
Niko - book #6 of the Omega Beginnings Miniseries is AWESOME!!! I love how Lizzy Ford had taken time to do this mini-series and how she introduces each character in the upcoming Omega book.
This book introduces us to Niko. Niko had a rough childhood with parents who could have cared a less about him. I would say more but then I would be repeating the whole storyline to you -- and I refuse to write spoilers!!!
This is a short book - so it is a fast read and I am sure that once you start reading it, you will not stop until you finish!!!
I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.
I think Niko is going to get him self into something that he can't get out of or get himself killed. I am sad to say I didn't find out what Niko was going to do about Theodocia's baby but at least he is thinking about her and the baby by sending money to her for the baby. I guess to find out anything else I will have to wait until I either win a copy of the Omega or wait until October when I get my kindle copy.
Niko has had a rough childhood but still gives you no excuse to push away those you love. I think there's something very important about Niko. The way he fights and has always been a fighter and isn't that ideal person who just bends over just because you say. I am curious to see how Niko's story plays out especially with Theodocia gone from him. His benefactor is interesting too. I feel like he is connect in some way but not in a good way. Hopefully Niko can get through this.
I feel so sorry for Niko, he has had a rough life and is fighting to achieve his dream, and now his ex-girlfriend is pregnant and he wants half his money to go to her to support their child,in his own way he is trying to do the right thing for them both, but the path that leads to the money may be the wrong way about proving his is a good provider
*sigh* Oh Niko...... I have a feeling you're so misunderstood. I just love this Omega series, every single story and sub story. I have a feeling Niko is going to be one of my very favorite key players!
I like Niko, but he's so stupid! I can tell this will be a love-hate relationship in regards to him. He's got potential, but is too stuck in his ways and puts himself down too much. As to the author's writing, fantastic as usual. Omega's release just seems so very far away!
Niko (#6, Omega Beginnings Miniseries) by Lizzy Ford 5 stars
Niko is broody, dangerous, flirty, dark, and complex. He is torn between what he feels he needs to do, and what he desires to do. He has so many facets, I can't wait to see how he evolves and what he is like in Omega!
I feel bad for all Niko has had to go through as a child. I wish he would of just stepped up and actually be apart on the unborn child's life. I think he will always be a money hungry dick. I am really not a fan of Niko at all.
Alright, alright, he grew on me a little. I still don't like his walking away from Theodocia, but I understand him a little better. Although truthfully, not sure he would be good father material so walking away was probably the best thing he could have done for her. He's a killer. I understand that is part of what he does for a living, but he ruthlessly and without regret killed people. And when he gets chosen for a new career, he jumps right in without thinking about the consequences. At different turns throughout this book, I wanted to reach in and slap some sense into him.
Strangely, maybe because unlike everyone else I didn't romanticized him, this one seemed longer than the others. It was very good, yet I was ready for it to be over. That is not to say that I don't want to learn what happens with Niko in the future book, but that he wasn't one of my favorite characters.
Oh Lord, I almost need to take a break from theses stories for a bit. I love a book that forces me to see outside myself. A book that'll make me feel everything the main person is feeling, is my favorite. But what happens when the series is full of twists and cliffhangers that leave me wanting? Frustration, that's what happens. Because I cannot predict the end.
This is the continuation of Niko’s story. Niko knows he’s not ready to be a father. His childhood was not the best but Theo loves him and he loves her. Theo not only has his heart but she also has a part of him. At least he’s trying to do the right thing by her and the baby with the money situation. Niko wants money but will it be worth the risks in the end? This was a short and dark read and when it comes to this series I am always left wanting more.
Niko! I really like this character. I think he's smart and capable, and he's really doing his best. He's just too messed up from his past to get any further without some deep self-reflection. Lots of mysterious foreshadowing here.
Wow, Niko is a really bad guy. I wonder what "Dosy" has seen in him. In this short, sixth episode in the Omega Beginnings Miniseries, Lizzy ford closes with more questions than answers. This series is going to be terrific, with such a huge character lead in.
Niko just seems like your typical guy who becomes bad guy because life was terrible but who has a change of heart later character. I honestly don't feel like his back story was need it. His little bit in Dosy's mini was enough imo
