Storm comes to town for Bishop and Cooper's wedding.
He's ex-military and a Firefighter, big and strong.
He sees a building fire and they pull over to rescue Corey,
the florist Kris's boyfriend.
Kris has issues he's still recovering
from the brutal attack in the previous book. The boyfriends have problems, but both respond to Storm. Storm can see the issues and thinks he can make this work out. He wants them both.
* So, the slow burn begins. Kris doesn't want them to see his hideous scars, but Corey loves him, even though he's pushed away again and again. After Corey and Storm's hospital stay from the fire, Kris invites Storm to stay with them.
Muscled Storm and his bunny, Ralph, move in.
The guys talk, make rules and enjoy each other's company, while the bond begins. Meanwhile the "fire bug" continues to wreak havoc on the town., plus other damage is caused. There is a mystery, an investigation and their M/M/M ménage moves forward. It's always a bit of a challenge to meld three lives.
Bellann Summer gives us interesting action stories, super sexy scenes, and I mean sizzling hot.
Sweet Kris, loving Corey and rock solid Storm, are great together.

Okay, progress indeed. I liked this one. Sure, a lot was silly and don’t let me get started on the author’s penchant for gore and for injuring her characters permanently.
But the fact is that I actually liked Storm, the toppy top in this one. He isn’t a jerk. That by itself seems kind of amazing to me, considering his predecessors. Even better, he has a fun loving way about him, something childlike without compromising his adult mind. And he actually pays attention to his partners, doesn’t push for more than they seem willing to give. Yes, you read correctly, he pays attention. Really, that has got to be the best thing yet. I wish more people in this author’s series would do that.
So yeah, in spite of the odds this proved enjoyable to me. Mind you, this is in context to the rest of the series. Admittedly, my expectations aren’t high for it.

Approx 118 pages of story. MMM. Kris, Corey and Storm. Kris was the florist hurt in one of the previous books by "OLIVER". Corey is his on again off again boyfriend, who comes back after the disaster with 'Oliver'. Storm rescues Corey from a burning building. Storm meet both Kris and Corey and wants them both. Actually all 3 want each other.

I enjoy this genre of romance. I happened upon this series after listening to the first 5 books of rescue for hire series, These "feel good" books always leave a smile on my face. Plus, it is interesting to watch how an author will fit all the characters into each other's lives and what enemy will attempt to tear them apart

I thought Kris was an asshole and i remember him kind of lying about Oliver/Blaine in the previous book so i didn't like the guy when i started the book. (I was also uneased by Corey's habit to leave before they met Storm but Kris was an asshole to Corey. I really didn't like how he acted the first time he met Storm... i was such a shitty way to act when he was supposed to date Cory who just alost die! It's like he met Storm and he was just ready to give up of Corey because Storm would take care of him but he never took into consideration Corey's needs!!)
I just didn't feel any harmony in the couple (Kris + Corey) and for me their issues were not solved at the end despite Storm's effort so i definitly didn't like this book that was suppose to be a menage but partly felt like there was cheating.

Gay menage romance
A lot goes on in this novella with characters from previous books and new ones introduced. Storm is in town for Bishop's wedding when he sees a fire and saves a trapped man, Corey. While at the hospital Storm meets Corey's boyfriend who is Kris, the man badly injured by Storms previous teammate in the earlier book. Storm decides he likes both men and pursues a relationship. It is an interesting story with so much happening in such a short time that I felt it was just a synopsis rather than a fully formed novel. Still enjoyable.
