🌶️Spicy. 🩶Semi-Dark MC Romance

This is my first book by K.B. Wylde, which is the pen name for Jenna Gunn’s MC genre. Although it is considered a dark MC romance, I didn’t find it too dark or violent. The intimate scenes were a bit rough, but it was all consensual.

Ace is well known in his MC gang as having a stone wall emotional persona. Vera is a 34-year-old curvy accountant with no experience with men. She’s self-conscious because she is very tall. When they are set up for a cute-meet by well-meaning characters, it all goes sideways when Vera is framed for embezzling. Seeing Vera taken away in handcuffs sets Ace off as he comes to terms with insta-love and a new-found sense of touch her and die.

This is a short but interesting novel. It is just the right length for a good evening of reading. If you enjoy seeing a huge, dominant, possessive alpha fall in love, you will enjoy this book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

K.B. Wilde, aka, Jenna Gunn has hooked me again. I’ve been a fan of Ms. Gunn’s talented self for a long time and now I’m a fan of her alter ego. Ace and Vera meet under weird circumstances and get thrown into a weird predicament, but luckily for us, it also throws them together. This is a quick, insta love book that’s full of steam and quite a bit of humor. I love that this book told an entire, fun and exciting, story in a short amount of time. I like a good quick read that still gives you a story that gets you invested in the characters. I am already pulling the first books in the series to read, can’t wait to see if their stories are just as great! Amazing job, looking forward to more in this series!.

I love Ace and Vera's story. These two overlooked souls needed each other.
This is a quick read, grab you by the seat of your pants, burn the pages up book.
If you like a fast insta-love book with an MC in the background, this is your series. I'm looking forward to the other books in the series.
The characters are well written. You get steamy scenes, drama and some truly laugh out loud moments.
I especially like the attention to the vintage details.

When he gets asked to do a drop at the park, he figures it’s club business as usual but the second he spots her everything changes. She bought a stranger photo shoot at an auction and is there for her blind date when she sees the tall biker staring at her. They barely have time to talk when the police show up and everything goes haywire. She’s being framed and he knows he just met her, but he also knows that she’s his future. This is an Insta love romance, where he falls first and fast. Always the one who thought he’d be the last to fall but as soon as he sees her, he knows. She has always been too much, too tall, too curvy, no one’s first choice. But when the huge biker looks at her, he not only makes her feel things she’s never felt before, but he makes her feel just right. He is hot and obsessed. She is tall and curvy. I also commend the author for realizing not all curvy girls are short, and letting the tall one be worshiped for who she is too this is part of the series, though each story is its own standalone. There are some references to prior characters and scenarios that happened in prior books, so it will make more sense if you do read them in order, but if you don’t, you can still enjoy this story and happily ever after.

This book starts out hot and fast. I loved it! Ace is a hardcore biker who does some dirty work for his club. Vera is an average accountant who accidentally bids on a date instead of a spa treatment. Ace goes where his club needs him to go and doesn’t ask questions so when he’s told to drop a birthday wrapped box with cash on a scenic lookout, he goes. Vera has tried to get in touch with Anna the photographer to cancel the date but has been unsuccessful. This is a bad idea, she’s too tall for most men and the photographer is nowhere in sight. When Ace pulls up with a box and she gets out of her car, they’re both struck speechless. When the wayward photographer shows up, then the cops things go south fast but Ace is hooked and he’ll move heaven and earth to claim her. You’ll love this book it’s a whole lot of awesome!.

A dangerous misunderstanding, a possessive motorcyclist and an accountant out of her element at the MC.

Perfect for devouring in one sitting.
The plot kicks off with a fateful mix-up: Vera, a virgin accountant with a penchant for vintage clothing and a dry sense of humour, accidentally ends up at a photo shoot with a stranger, whilst Ace, the enforcer for the Kings of Darkness motorbike club, believes he is simply making a routine cash delivery. Upon discovering that they have both fallen into a trap and that Vera’s life is in danger because she has been seen with him, Ace doesn’t hesitate and takes her to the only safe place: his club’s compound. Living under the same roof, this imposing biker—who barely speaks to anyone else—becomes completely obsessed with her and overly attentive.
It strikes a fine balance between the intrigue of the criminal plot, scenes packed with excitement, and a heart-warming sense of a family coming together.

There is something about a biker who loses his natural mobility and the power of speech when he sees "THE ONE". 🫠

Ace and Vera met at Riverside Outlook, the same park where Skull met Katie. Ace is there on what he thinks is club business👀. Vera is there because she mistakenly signed up for a Stranger Session photo shoot.🤭 Ace has no idea that he's been set up as a joke.

The joke backfires when the police show up and someone spends the night in jail. Coincidence? Nope! This is now club business and they are going to fix it!

Enjoyed how the story progressed.

Had some laugh out loud moments. 🤣

Short and fun read.

Had to go catch up on the previous book - Slider's Property.

This is book 6 in Kings of Darkness MC series. I'm loving the whole photoshoot with a stranger vibe. Ace has met his match when he comes to Vera. Poor Vera what should have been a fun stranger shoot somehow ends up with her being arrested for embezzlement. Watching guarded stoic Ace fall hard and fast for sweet accountant Verawas endearing. The book made me smile at times because the characters were entertaining. I loved all the characters. Anna the photographer needs her own beast of a biker. Couldn't put it down. Read in one sitting.

The blind date photo shoot strikes again, Skull thinking it will be funny sets up Ace. Ace has never had a relationship and never lets anyone in his space. He thinks it is a drop; he has cash in a box. He sees her, Vera is gorgeous but is not sure why she is there for the money. When he sees the photographer, he is still not sure what is going on, then the cops show up. They arrest Vera for wire fraud and the cash in the box makes things a whole lot worse.

Vera goes from jail to the clubhouse, staying in Ace's room. They pair's chemistry heats up real fast, they are perfect for each other.

Ace has been given a mission by Skull, meet a woman at a lookout. When he gets there and meets her he's blindsided, she's beautiful and he's speechless, he gives her the box just as the police arrive and arrest her. There's nothing he can do without making it worse so he says nothing and goes back to the club house, angry with Skull.
The club gets together and gets her out on bail. She's got feelings for Ace too and wants to pursue things, he's never let anyone into his room, she finds the soft inside of him.

Framed for Keeps is an insta MC romance that brings Ace and Vera together unexpectedly. Ace is your grumpy, broody biker whose world gets shaken and whose tongue gets tied, which had me smirking.

Vera is a big girl with a big heart who charms you with her chatter. Together, they are sweet, sizzling hot, and completely unhinged in their need for each other.

A band of brothers bound by loyalty, and a love that changes everything. Sweet, funny, and so much fun!

Well written engaging steamy desires, fast paced romance.

This was a fun complete opposites who meet as a blind not date photoshop. The entire things is wrong from the start. I really enjoyed Ace and Vera’s story and the insta feel that we get with him wanting to protect her from the very beginning. She may have been a fish out of water in the MC world but they made her feel like family and she quickly fit right in. Short under 200 pgs and a standalone with in the series.

Ace makes it his mission to both claim her and prove her innocence. What a great novel about a soft hearted biker and his innocent love.

Loved this awesome book. The storyline will hook you and not let you go. Ace is full of confidence and determination. Vera endures so much but keeps her courage. This book is full of danger, unexpected twists, that will keep you engaged throughout. I didn’t want it to end.

Loved every minute of Ace and Vera’s love journey. Their meet-cute was darling. I enjoyed watching as Ace’s solitary world is rocked by Vera. Filled with humor, MC family, sizzling heat, tenderness, a bit of MC business, and a love that gives a forever. Looking forward to the next in this series.
