Cherry survived the impossible. Escaped the facility that tortured her and found safety with five alphas who refuse to let her face the world alone. But survival is only the beginning. Although they’ve figured out a way to help her shift, and she can finally start to communicate with them, it comes with complications that stop her from shifting on her own.

And getting her voice back only raises more questions. Why does death refuse to take her? What did the facility do to her? And what is the powerful bond forming between her and the five males who refuse to leave her side?

A bond that shouldn’t exist.

Their plan is leave Westgrove behind and search for Starfall Haven, a sanctuary where supernaturals can live in peace.

But Cherry’s past isn’t done with her.

Someone is watching from the shadows. Leaving gifts meant only for her. Twisted reminders that the nightmare she escaped might not be over after all.

Because the person hunting Cherry doesn’t just want her back.

He believes she belongs to him.

-So at the start Cherry can only shift back to human when all 5 mmcs are touching her, then soon enough she shifts randomly and then finally can shift at will.
-They’ve moved to a new town that exclusively houses supernatural beings.
-We find out Cherry is actually an omega which is super rare in this world but that’s why she has multiple fated mates.
-She’s getting notes and threats from someone called ‘Blaze’ who thinks she’s his, she doesn’t know who it could be.
-Juliet the ‘OWD’ from the first book has moved to town with her new fiancé Ezra and it turns out Ezra is Blaze and he was apparently present for some of the experiments on Cherry when she was at the facility and thinks she’s his true mate but she doesn’t remember him. He was only with OW to get close to Cherry, when 3 of her mates are on a mission to find Dr Evil from the facility, Ezra uses a paralytic on the other 2 mmcs and turns up with OW’s severed head as a gift and kidnaps Cherry to take her back to the facility.
-All 5 mmcs are going to go after her since they have a tracker on her but suddenly the 3 that have bonded so far feel the mate bond being severed- meaning she’s died. (We know she always comes back to life though) aaaaand Cliffhanger again

-Multi pov
-we find out their ages in this one, Cherry 24, Hunter and Chase are 28, Maddox and Bain are 30 and Gage is 31.
-spicy times in this one, we know Gage and Hunter were virgins too but no mention at all of the others history which to me I don’t mind bc unless you’re telling me your a virgin I don’t wanna know shit.
-Fated mates
-No third act breakup
-Cliffhanger, next book is the final book in the trilogy

Disappointed.
DNF AT 42%

I devoured the first book and I was genuinely so excited for this one. This one was a let down. I should have know what I was signing for when I realized this is the same author who wrote "My Prison Penpals". *Heavy sigh*

I liked Cherry more when she was a wolf full time. I will be simple, Shona Knight LOVES writing infantilized and dummified, traumatized women.

I was going to continue reading for Chase, but I just can't do it. I was so uncomfortable with the way FMC was written this book. The vibes were off.

Shona Knight will be a no zone for me from now on. Two series of writing the same trope and I've seen enough.

2 stars for Chase. He was a fresh breath of air. I liked his originality in the era of bearded #alphamale MMC trope we keep seeing in RH.

I will start by saying the cliffhangers in book one and two were good. The overall story is interesting - Cherry’s backstory, the torture she endured, the struggle to not be in wolf form and why. All good.

That being said, book two left me a little…meh. Many times throughout I felt like the guys acted like 16 year old boys and not 28+ old men. Cherry came across as a twelve year old. I understand a lot of her life was spent in the facility and there is just some stuff you won’t know at 14, being thrust into the world as a 24 year old, but still.
There didn’t seem to be much depth to the characters (guys at least). I LOVE fated mates, shifters of any kind, etc. I just don’t love the were fated so insta love and infatuation and we don’t actually need to put in any effort to get to know someone. I don’t know, it was all too clean.

The story did drag a bit too. An entire book and lot a whole lot has happened.

Overall it was okay. May read book three.

Omg this was so so good!! Omg.. I couldn’t stop reading, and when I did have to stop reading it I was constantly thinking about.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️

I love love love Bain, Gage, Hunter, Chase and Maddox. They are all so different but all so perfect. The way they care for and love on cherry ugh is perfection.

I love Bain feeding cherry, he may be the big strong badass alpha but he’s a total softie when it comes to cherry.

I didn’t think I could love cherry any more than I did in book one. She’s sweet, smart, protective and so strong ugh if I could be any FMC I would be her!

That ending had me SCREAMING. I did not expect Blaze to be who he is… and the head??? That was honestly perfect! (IFYKYK)

I cannot wait for book three.. I need it asap!

That ending literally gave me heart palpitations!! I need the next book immediately!! I absolutely LOVED Cherry and so glad we got to see her in her human form so much in this book, there are still so many questions I need answering about her and her family!! I love all the guys, my favourite is Bain 😍 I needed more of the twins in this book though! I was gobsmacked by the reveal in that ending and then that last line omg, they are going to have to feel it so many times aren’t they 😭 can’t wait for the next book!!

Figuring out the shift and staying in the chosen form

I put this one off as long as I could because I just knew it was going to have an awful cliffhanger. I was not wrong.....

I loved getting to know Cherry outside of her wolf form. Watching her bonds deepen with the guys was so special. These men only want to love and protect their mate.

I loved all the new details we got about who and what cherry is. Also meeting some of the new people in thus new town.

They should have been safe. They did all these things that should keep her safe. However, there are still people out there who want her back. She is unique and they can't let her escape.

Cherry telling the guys about the hearts and realizing there were so many was absolutely heart breaking. The way the men reassure her that nothing she tells them can change how they feel about her but they need to know is so sweet.

With Cherry in her Hunan form we finally get some spice. Cherry is so touch starved and having all these feelings and desires. They are very careful not to overwhelm her. We also start the bonding process but with five mates and a v!rg!in FMC it takes time.

There are so many things we still need answers to. What was the end game of this experimentation? What were they testing and what did they actually do? We got bits and pieces from the nightmares but there is definitely something bigger at play.

That entire ending sequence did not play out like I thought it would. I feel for the men and Cherry too. I can't wait till Dr. J gets his just deserts.

Look if I thought the cliffhanger for book 1 was bad yeah one said “bet”
I’m kinda stuck cuz I don’t want to give spoilers but like WHAT?!!! Again I’m stuck on the cliffhanger if you couldn’t tell.
I love Cherry she’s strong and I feel like we got a lot more of her strength well got to see more of it in this book and I loved it!
Her men (still don’t have a favorite) are amazing and I love the way they are there for her and support her, first in wolf form and now human!

Absolute Chaos and Pure Obsession: My Mind is Blown!
"She is finally Claimed by all her mates!!! We thought this would be the highlight but no..."

Just when you think you’ve reached the peak, the floor completely drops out! Watching her fight tooth and nail just to maintain her human form after ten agonizing, torturous years alone in that god-awful facility—repeatedly enduring her own deaths—is nothing short of harrowing. But the deeper mystery of why? Uncovering the twisted root behind those deaths and what those haunting heart tattoos actually mean kept me on the absolute edge of my seat.

And let’s talk about the pack. Bain is peak overbearing, fiercely protective alpha energy—demanding answers and refusing to let anyone touch his mate—while Maddox leads the charge to tear down whatever sick game is being played. Seeing her five alpha mates rally behind her with unmatched devotion, heavy communication, and intense hurt/comfort healing is everything.

Except... who the hell is leaving those creeping stalker gifts?!

My jaw didn't just drop—it shattered when that explosive ending revealed who Blaze actually is. I am still recovering!

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 Stars) — A fantastic, spicy continuation that dives deeper into the lore and the characters! 🐺🔥

Things are really heating up in this second book of the trilogy! I have been hooked since the first installment, and this one did not disappoint.

What I Loved: 🖤
• Deeper Lore: We finally get to learn more about Cherry and what exactly she is, which was so fascinating!
• The Guys: We also get a lot more insight into the guys and their individual dynamics, making the romance feel even more developed.
• The Spice: This one has significantly more spice! It makes total sense because, in the first book, Cherry was completely stuck in her wolf form for her own protection. Let me tell you, the spice we do get here is absolutely fantastic! 🌶️

Final Thoughts: 💭
I am completely hooked! I am immediately jumping right into the final book in this series because I just have to know how it all ends! 📚🏃‍♀️💨

Having only resolved one threat in Bound, Claimed maintained a moderate amount of angst as unsavory plot points are looming and each new character was met with high volumes of suspicion (for me). I loved to see Cherry getting stronger and more confident in her place in the pack, not to mention learning more about her and the relationship with the guys. I really love all the MMCs - they’re uniquely amazing and provide something different for Cherry. I’m also finding continued comfort and swooning tendencies in how loving and supportive they all are to Cherry - no emotionally stunted dudes in this pack! I was expectedly screaming at them all towards the end as I knew that terrible cliffhanger was on its way and I was not wrong. It was awful for my anxiety and my heart - in that way that has me contemplating staying up another few hours to read Freed immediately when it releases!

It just keeps getting better, but that cliff!

I could NOT put this book down!! Just like with book one, once you start reading this book, you do not have a concept of time until you're done. Shona Knight's writing has a way of capturing the audience like that.

I was happy getting to read more about the pack coming together & seeing Cherry with them once she starts getting more comfortable with herself is beautiful. Watching the guys care for her really shows just how much they love and need her to be complete. Even if they might act like a bunch of boys with a new toy, when they find it hard to share.

I love how the world continues to expand with all the new people we're getting to meet and how their stories connect or help out the pack. Even though there's a lot more coming together moments, there's still people after Cherry, and in this book, we're reminded that the trouble is still out there.

Oh my God! How in the holy hay do you keep getting me with these cliffhangers. I swear that by now I should know better and somebody should just hand you the crown for your cliffhanger… They always rip my heart up emotionally… wooo roller coaster! And I’m so here for it! I’m so sad that I don’t have book 3 already but I know it’s coming soon so I’m super excited…*** insert excited squeak here*** I don’t know how this author does it, but I am immediately obsessed with these characters and I fall in love with them more and more throughout the series. I don’t currently have a favorite MMC, but by book 2 in a series I normally do… They’re all amazing and I love how they are with Cherry. Poor sweet Cherry! Absolutely must read if you love PNR why choose! Excuse me while I go wallow in sadness until books 3 comes out

Reading update: Bro, this is SO idiotic.

Reading update pt. 2: She got snatched. Shocker.

I enjoyed the first book in this series, despite its flaws, but I really don’t think I can continue the series after this display of idiocy.

WHAT WAS THAT BRUTAL CLIFFHANGER???! 😫😫 When here I thought that they were all finally safe, my girl was taken from her mates again and this time, delivered to the very monster she's ran from since book 1. Totally frustrated me! But what I love about Claimed is where this book showed the deepening of their bonds as a pack with Cherry as the very heart of it. It's so nice understanding the meaning of Claimed that it is not just Cherry being claimed by her mates but also her claiming the life she was bound to have.

And I also love how the MMCs (especially Maddox and Bane, they're my favs sue me) were always so patient, understanding and caring towards her but also firm when it comes to her safety. They were always such green flags 💚 but I am hoping at book 3 I would get to see their feral sides to get their girl back and Cherry's fiercer persona as well since this is about getting her freedom. But all in all, this is a 5 star read for me ✨️🤞

loved the sweet/spice balance!

Wow! I loved this book. A lot of it was cute romantic fluff between cherry and her mates! We get to see them grow together. Cherry starts to get more control of her shifts, they they finally get someplace safe where they can focus on their relationship while researching their enemies. I love the cute fluff parts, where you can really get to know and enjoy the character. But the last chapters, are like whiplash and suddenly get so serious! A much more difficult cliffhanger than the first books. It was a very easy read filled with sweetness, a little spice, while still progressing the story and adding more questions keeping you hooked!! Either way you will not be disappointed!!

Holy Moly!

Cherry’s story just keeps getting better!

After finding out about her connection with the five men who have rescued her, she slowly starts trusting them more which causes her wolf to start letting her shift back to her human form, with a little help at first. But eventually the stronger she gets the easier it becomes.

But her five men are still trying to see if they can find anything out about the facility she ran from & the people who hurt her. And that leads them to Starfall Haven. A town with nothing but supernaturals.

They believe this town may be what can help them help Cherry & find the people who hurt her. But they actually end up with more questions & new revelations that leave them confused.

I really enjoyed the pace of this book & how Cherry grew her connection with each of the men. They are absolutely so sweet with her & I love how supportive of her they are.

But that cliffhanger was no good! I don’t want to wait, I need them to get to Cherry asap!

This book had me hooked from the very beginning & I am so beyond happy I was able to read it!

Amazing job!

Omg I NEED the third book right now. That cliffhanger?! And the plot twist was CRAZY in the best way possible. I definitely loved book 2 way more than book 1 and now I have no idea how I'm supposed to survive waiting for book 3. I NEED to know what happens next and I just hope my girl Cherry is okay.

I absolutely loved Cherry. She's so sweet and adorable and I loved that she's an omega. I also loved all the MMCs, especially Bain and Gage. My heart goes out to Hunter and Chase for having to watch her being taken. Their relationship with Cherry was so sweet and cute, especially because they cared about her from the moment they found her injured in her wolf form.

The slow burn was so good and I loved watching them get closer. They're completely devoted to Cherry and there's no being hurt by the MMCs, which I absolutely loved. The spice was so worth the wait too.

The story was definitely dark, especially with everything Cherry went through and the torture she survived. My heart breaks for everything she's been through. The plot was so gripping and the plot twist completely shocked me. I was genuinely screaming by the end.

I also loved when they finally got closer and moved to Starfall Haven. The creativity that went into the town and how descriptive everything was made me want to live there myself.

And that ENDING. I loved it but I'm also suffering because of that cliffhanger. My poor girl Cherry is back in her personal hell and I NEED BOOK 3.

If you love wolf shifter romance, fated mates, why choose/reverse harem, found family, hurt/comfort, dark trauma and MMCs who yearn HARD and are completely devoted to their FMC, then this is definitely the book for you.

I was ready the moment my preorder hit my kindle on release day!
As always, no spoilers, because I need you to experience this yourself!

I loved seeing Cherry in her human form so much in this book, and watching the growth happen for her, as well as within her relationships with her mates, and others within the town. I'm looking forward to seeing her branch out more, and learn more of the woman she is becoming.

Her mates are beginning to find out more about the facility Cherry was held with Dr J. There's definitely more to the story in regards to Cherry's power... I can't wait to see it all uncovered in book 3. I'm so excited that September will be here before we know it for more!!

I love this world so much!

Claimed is book 2 in The Caged Wolf trilogy. This is a dark why choose romance.

We pick up where we left off with Cherry and the guys Gage, Hunter, Chase, Bain and Maddox and I couldn't put it down once I started!

Cherry is coming out of her shell so much and I am absolutely here for it. I love the relationships she has with each of the guys and I can not pick a favorite one out of them all. They are all dreamy!

And then that cliffhanger!!???!!! Ahhhhhhhh!!!!

I can not wait for the next book!

If you haven't started this trilogy yet, you really should!!!

Another Great Book From Shona!

Honestly I love Shonas books. You just know it’s gonna be great.

I love reading them after I’ve read something quite dark or bully. It’s a good switch up.

I love the innocent female trope which all her books seem to have in common.

I haven’t read her Romantasy books because truthfully they haven’t really caught my interest and I also tend to stay away from stand-alones. But the rest - I’m here for.

So if you’re new to Shona and you’re looking for a slow burn, sweet read. I recommend this series. If you’ve already read Shonas books then no need to say anything, you know what to expect.

Well, what in the heck was that ending. I swear, Shona always does this to me with her endings.

We pick up just as Bound concluded. Cherry's human form is revealed and her mates are very eager to get her to safety. They travel to where they think is Starfall Haven and are introduced to a very different world. I really like Cherry's potential new friends and that she has the chance to make friends. She is so sweet and kind.

Whilst in Starfall Haven, Cherry starts to find herself and grows more comfortable in her human form. She also grew closer to her mates which was the sweetest because she is so deserving of happiness.

Her mates also find out more about the facility Cherry was held captive. But there's definitely more to the story especially when it comes to Cherry and the power she possesses. Just as Cherry's men start getting somewhere, a certain someone destroys it for them all.

As mentioned, it does end on a massive cliffhanger and i am so thankful we don't have to wait long because i need to know what is happening.

I could go on and on but I don't want to spoil it for you.

Thank you Shona and your amazing team for the opportunity to read this story and to be a part of your ARC team. I am forever grateful 🙏

I…don’t even know where to begin! I binged this book in four hours. It was THAT GOOD! I legitimately couldn’t put it down. Which honestly? Given how quickly Shona captures my attention with her works, is not to surprising.

Cherry goes through some major growth in this book. I won’t say much on the subject as to prevent spoilers but watching her journey is nothing short of amazing. And her partners? Just ugh! I’ll take them all please!

I can’t choose between the five, they all have traits that I absolutely love. And watching how they each help Cherry & work together within their family is also nothing short of beautiful. The world building continued to be amazing.

And even the side characters are all very well done. The short time they are “on screen” so to speak, their personalities all shine through.

When it comes to spice, there were moments of spice. I’d put it at overall 3 peppers out of 5. With a few moments being closer to five peppers. You’ll have to read to understand what I mean.

I NEED the next book. Because this left me wanting more! And also slightly annoyed with our beloved Queen of cliffhangers. But did knowing it would likely end on a cliffy stop me from reading it? Nope! Should you let that stop you? No way in hell! Go get you the first in the series & the second you can grab this one? Do so! You won’t regret it!
