I was told that life on the road could be rough, exhausting and stressful. I was prepared for all of that. Hell, I was looking forward to the distraction! Anything was better than returning to my pitiful life just outside of Oregon.

What nobody bothered to tell me though was just how damn tempting some of the scenery could be!

Jace Benson should have come with a warning label. A big, red sticker that warned me not to get too close. The dirty-talking, smart mouthed rocker is all kinds of trouble that I don’t need in my life. Trouble that could chew me up and spit me out without a second’s hesitation. Now I’m faced with two problems.

Problem one – Jace isn’t used to hearing the word no and the more I say it, the more determined the bassist becomes.
Problem two – The more determined he becomes in his attempts to get me, the less determined I am to say no!

Now we've been thrown together in the city of Sin and I'm about to learn that what happens in Vegas, doesn't always stay in Vegas. It's going to change our lives forever and I'm not sure it's going to be for the better.

Is this just a lust fuelled whirlwind romance or could it be something more meaningful? And if it is the latter, do I have the guts to hold on to it?

I was born and raised in the scottish countryside and have always had a keen passion for reading (something I inherited from my mother). When I was fifteen, simply reading a story wasn't enough. I had to have control. I wanted to be able to try and create my own world with my own set of characters. I've been writing as a hobby since I was fifteen but Soul Deep is my first published book.

Great rockstar romance

Two bands on tour together, mixed sex's so you know from the beginning it's going to get interesting

Great characters, AJ is a take no crap kinda girl, a fiery character and her first impression of Jace did not go down well. Jace was the cocky rock star, a reputation with the ladies so getting a knock back from AJ made it game on.

Loved the chemistry with the characters, Jace was actually a sweet guy and a bbf.

The other characters were also entertaining, the friendships and the banter that flowed between them was good and great to read.

loved the writing style told in AJ'S pov, a steady read, no huge dramas or angst it's a romantic girl meets rock star read with hotness in the mix.

looking forward to reading more about the other members of each band.

3.5 stars. This "rocker" book had the foundation of being a great read but got bogged down here and there in the h's fear of relationships and the H's total out of character meltdown at one point.

Our H was just a sweetheart of a rocker. All southern, possessive and caring who meets our h just as she is coming off being dumped by a long-term boyfriend. He pretty much knows instantly "she's the one" but she struggles with it. A now pretty cliché plot point of getting drunk in Vegas and getting married was handled well without quite all the angst and drama other books have had. On the whole, a good read.

One minor point I have a problem with is reading a really good, down home Southern accent coming out of the mouth of our hero, but a lot of the words are spelled "British style," (i.e., favourite) and many British descriptions that American's don't use. Obviously our hero was a fake Southerner.

It was cute...

I enjoyed this book, but I couldn't get over the spelling errors without correcting them in my head. Towards the middle it felt rushed and the character development could have been better. It was still a cute read...
