Trying to stay apart is not easy for Brynn or Chase. In fact it is just impossible. Chase and his startling green eyes and his sweet apologies and sad revelations, I would take him back too. Actually I would not dump someone that was willing to protect me like Chase does. Brynn is worried about her mother who has always been in abusive relationships is trying to recover from this last beating when Robert is going to go to court finally. Nothing but an utter twist and heartbreak comes from his hearing.

This is too much for Brynn and it seems to finally be over. Too much to fix this time. Time for the next book. Still calling me to read the rest of the series. It is intense.

Wow I didn't expect this. Brynn and Chase get back together after he begs for her understanding. He shares his love of photography with her. Her mom's boyfriend is about to be sentenced and she decides to go. There she finds out Chase is Robert's son.
