An Introduction to QED

Rate this book
Why does light bend through water? Why does a glass prism split light into its colours? How does a mirage form? These are just a few of the questions addressed by quantum electrodynamics – the theory describing the interaction between light and matter. One of the most stringently tested theories in physics; its workings are described here with simple, everyday examples – a perfect introduction to the peculiar world around us.
