This is a great debut. The author was able to capture a lot for a relatively short read, but it didn't feel rushed or unexplained. Once I started, I didn't stop until I finished. The werewolves and plot are different than the typical WW stories, which I really enjoyed.
The characters are solid and believable. I liked the dynamic between Elias and his daughter Maya. I'm eagerly waiting for the sequel.
