No, I am not a crazy cat…man. Well not yet anyway.
But at twenty-eight I'd already given up on finding Mr. Perfect and I was honestly willing to settle for Mr. Has-a-job-and-doesn't-fart-in-bed.
That is until Declan Colbert entered my life. He's perfect. Literally perfect and I have no idea what he sees in me, but hey, if the guy wants to stick around, who am I to argue?
Except that…well, my cats don't like him. I mean they seriously don't like him at all, and I have no idea what to do with that reaction. Are my cats just being brats or are they trying to warn me that not everything about Declan is what it seems?
Hey, maybe he's just a dog person. I mean, he does have that tattoo…

Sometimes I just need a fluffy romance that includes some hot sex, okay? No judging.
Even though it's only 28 pages there's a whole story packed in. Honestly, this was just fun.

It was interesting. Chris in particular was just one of the those funny characters... Declan, didn't really get a good sense of him and the werewolf part isn't very strong, seeing as it happens at the end. Still a cute read.

Nope.
A whole lot of my pet peeves wrapped up in a bow.
Talking to the reader? Check.
All porn, no plot? Check.
1st person present tense? *shudders* Check.
For me, the writing was lazy, there was ZERO world-building (or an attempt at it) - the author just said "werewolf" and it's supposed to instantly be a world-building word. The sex was badly written, lack-lustre, and the plot was so weak and thin, it was really only an excuse to write some porn. Which, is fine if that's what you want, but this was like the really bad "plot" given to porn films that has no logic, no ending, no real purpose except to make way for sex.
And if the author can't remember their own plot-points throughout a 7 page series that is less than a full length novel when put together, then why should I care? They contradicted their own "laws" to suit themselves, and expected the reader to do all the work. Not to mention all the repetition that meant they only had to have the one plot point for about 4 of the 7 books in the series, and just rehashed it, along with conversations. Their favourite phrase? "Anyway" - to allow a segway for info dump that wasn't necessary - and:
"Fuck."
"That's the plan."
*rolls eyes*
The only reason I read all 7 books was because I paid for them...and I want my money back.

Aww, I just adored this series, all three were cute as could be. Funny/snarky observations and as a crazy cat lady myself (I only have two-well three now, but I do seem to have an unhealthy attachment to them) I appreciated the star of the first book being a crazy cat man. All the stories are short and I do think the price of $1.50 apiece is a bit too much, but I enjoyed all three so for me they were worth it. Would have liked better endings, they were sort of abrupt, but still HEA’s. Hope we get more of the series and maybe even a little longer books!

Chris falls for a werewolf. Even after being told and proposed to which he accepts, he doesn't believe Declan is a werewolf. On the night of the full moon, he sees Declan change and finally accepts that he is marrying a werewolf.
