Hey, don't mock me. At least I fell for a dog lover. That's one better than my alpha. He fell for the crazy cat…man. No, seriously. He did. At least when I fall hard and fast it's for a guy who actually likes dogs.
Robbie is a vet. He loves animals, and I'm the luckiest werewolf alive.
I spent three whole weeks with him, all day, every day. I know all his secrets and every one of his dreams, and I know we're absolutely perfect for each other.
Okay, so it's not quite that simple.
I was in my wolf form, injured, and in a cage at the time, so now I just have to figure out how to reintroduce myself in my non-wolf form…to a man who has known and disliked me most of my life.

Nope. A whole lot of my pet peeves wrapped up in a bow. Talking to the reader? Check. All porn, no plot? Check. 1st person present tense? *shudders* Check.
For me, the writing was lazy, there was ZERO world-building (or an attempt at it) - the author just said "werewolf" and it's supposed to instantly be a world-building word. The sex was badly written, lack-lustre, and the plot was so weak and thin, it was really only an excuse to write some porn. Which, is fine if that's what you want, but this was like the really bad "plot" given to porn films that has no logic, no ending, no real purpose except to make way for sex. And if the author can't remember their own plot-points throughout a 7 page series that is less than a full length novel when put together, then why should I care? They contradicted their own "laws" to suit themselves, and expected the reader to do all the work. Not to mention all the repetition that meant they only had to have the one plot point for about 4 of the 7 books in the series, and just rehashed it, along with conversations. Their favourite phrase? "Anyway" - to allow a segway for info dump that wasn't necessary - and: "Fuck." "That's the plan." *rolls eyes*
The only reason I read all 7 books was because I paid for them...and I want my money back.
Dominic has fallen for Robbie. After Robbie nurses his wolf half back to health, Dominic wants a future with him and takes his courage in hand to ask him out for dinner. There is crossed wires as Robbie thinks it's an one night stand. Dominic leaves town to lick his emotional wounds. With help from friends, they get together and Robbie finds out that Dominic is the wolf he nursed to health. They both decide to give a relationship a try and it works.
Another cute read. Perspective is from the werewolf point of view, making it easier to connect to that character. However, even though Dom is a wolf for 3 weeks in Robbie's presence it all happens before the story starts. So still not a big werewolf presence
