Eloquently written. Author provides detailed history of African American culture in its regards to the foods we've became accustomed to as well as origin of "superfoods" that we should incorporate into our diet. States that the food we eat either cause or cure most diseases of the body and state how the diseases most prevalent among African Americans are caused from the foods we eat, and provides blueprint for transitioning diet for healthier lifestyle. Must read for anyone curious about the origin and/or nutrition facts of the foods eaten by most African Americans as well as those seeking to obtain a healthier lifestyle.
