Well, I devoured Shakes and Daniella's book within a couple of hours!! I was looking forward to their book and this is my favorite one out of the series. I also just found out there is a novella; book 4.5 and it has these same characters in it. So I will save my review for when I finish it!

I'm going to keep this rant short...because this fucking book pissed me the fuck off even though it was good enough for me to rate it four stars...yeah...sighs....
Shakes and Dani are by far my favorite characters in this series. They fought so very hard for their love and I think what the club did to Shakes was just downright shitty because if even Zeke could show that he was remotely human, just a teeny tiny bit decent, then so could the club, the same damn club that Shakes has been so loyal to for all of his adult life. If any one of those men were in his shoes they would have done the same thing and so much worse, so fuck them for basically kicking his ass to the curb. At the end of the day he got his woman, they are both still pushing it and the club can eat shit and die...Demon is a big ass fucking hypocrite, as are Joker, Deanna and the rest of them! Them being a so called family should have found a way to protect Shakes and Dani, not run scared, that's what Tiny would have done, that's what Devil would have done because they look after family...Demon has a lot to learn! That whole club does...
I'm glad Shakes and Dani get their HEA even though they have a rough start and an even rougher journey, they both deserve it after everything Zeke, his goons and the club put them through...

This is the 4th book in The Soldiers of Wrath MC series and very different from the others in that the H/ h are in love and on the run from her father and his MC with the threat of death on his head.
I have to say that I don't like the father Zeke,this man is a pimp,trafickeer,embezleer,etc.....he is also a sadist who loves to inflict pain .He has a book comming up and I am curious as to how his character will be casted.
Good read that I enjoyed.Hated that the hero, Shakes, had to leave his club because of his love for Dani.

Sad, but loved it..
Not sure where to start..I was so upset by the middle f the book, I had to walk away and come back to it..sure I know the rules of the MC gang (we'll sort of), but damn it I didn't want Shakes to die or leave the club..I was hoping there was a way for him to get back in the good graces of Demon and Zeke, but unfortunately it was not to be. Sure, I loved that Shakes was willing to give up everything (literally) to be with Dani, but he sealed his fate with his choice. Zeke is one mean (you know what).
I loved the book, recommend it, but you need to read the series to truly enjoy it. I hate Zeke..he is ruthless unapologetic..I hope he gets his in the next book (but I know it won't happen). I hate that Shakes is out the club.

Ok wow what did I just f-Ing read?! That was just no words for that. The hero Snakes was a manwhore that falls for the head guys daughter Daniella. He love lust for her and they run away! To be together. He risked getting killed for her everything. Now if I was just rating this based on the hero and the heroine story then this would be a four stars. However, because of the Zeke (her fathers) story was also interwoven in this story I had to give it a 2. Omg, he is one sick bastard. Buying and selling unwilling people is not romantic, it's a crime. Also, I can't read about guys that get off on hurting people and treating them like garbage. I don't understand BDSM very well but that kind of thing as long as it's consensual then I am ok with it. I do not pretend to understand what this kind of sadistic sex is all about because for me pleasure feels good and pain hurts. That being said if you like that kind of thing then by all means this is your book. I just wished it had not been included in this story.

Até agora esse foi o melhorzinho dessa série, gostei dos dramas que a autora abordou e das tensões que me deixaram louquinha!
Que agonia louca senti pelo os dois, Daniella e Shakes são forçados a fugir para finalmente ficarem juntos, pois o seu pai a obriga a se afastar do Shakes. Só que ambos não esperavam que o louco do Zeke fosse ameaçar matar a esposa do presidente do clube se caso a Daniella não voltasse.
Eles fazem um monte de sacrifícios para ter um ‘final feliz’, a atração entre eles é bem fofa! :D Dani é meiga e encantadora. Já Shakes é um fofo e determinado, amei a forma que ele se preocupava tanto com a Dani, apaixonante *-*
A mãe da Daniella é uma vaca!!! Que mulher quenga!!
Se recomendo?! Sim :D

This was one of the best books I have read by this writing team. It didn't follow the usual pattern in most of the previous books and kept me glued to the story as it unfolded.
The H ends up being thrown out/leaving the club because he chose the h over the club. In the end, he turns in his cut, blacks out his ink and lives HEA with the h. I kept thinking the club would take him back before the end, but it never happens. In the end, he says he's happy living a normal life with the h but would remain friends with all of his former brothers.

I love reading this series. This is the fourth book in the Soldiers Of Wrath MC Series . Shakes was told to stay away from Daniella by Demon the president of the MC that he was in but he didn't listen. Daniella is the only daughter of one of the most dangerous men in the US Zeke and she hates him and the life that she is living she always has guards she doesn't have any friends and she is still a virgin because people are scared of her father. From the moment Shakes sees Dani he wants her he can't explain it he knows he should stay away, but he can't when one of the club members touches Dani Shakes loses it that night goes to Zeke and ask to date he laughs and says no and that he would kill Shakes if he touches her so they run leaving everything they no and love behind including the club. I really liked this book Zeke was something else he is a sadist and although I understand why he felt the need to protect Dani because of his lifestyle he has enemies although I didn't like how he threatened Demon. The book also had some pretty good sex scenes one with Zeke who liked to inflict pain that was really hot. This book was well written with no errors in spelling or grammar. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series and I am also looking forward to reading Zeke's Rule I am sure we will be reading all about the darkness that is Zeke.

I liked this one, but not all of it went as I expected it to go. One, I cried like a f*cking baby during one scene. It might be because of my monthly cycle, I don't know. But I cried a lot.
Shakes (biker) has taken interest in Daniella (19-yo virgin, college student) after her mafia dude father, Zeke, asks the club to take care of her while he's off murdering people. In the last book it mentioned that Shakes would sneak off to see her every night, but you didn't get any of that info in this book. This book also says that he has kissed her before - we never get to hear about that, which pisses me off. Shakes tells her that he wants her and he's going to ask her dad to allow them to be together. You can guess how that turns out. So Shakes leaves the club behind and takes Daniella and they run away together. They have a hard time with the traveling. Staying in disgusting roadside motels. It's not much of a struggle to figure out how this story plays out.
The thing that bothered me in this one was the sex. Shakes was all about wanting to make her first time special - then he was SUPER rough with her. It definitely wasn't romantic, tender, or loving. It was dirty, hard f*cking. I was pretty disappointed in him for not doing a better job at showing his love.
Anyway - it's still a good addition to the series. As with all SC books, there are a lot of typos and crap - but you should be used to it by now.

Shakes proves that he is extremely selfish, stubborn, pigheaded and an extreme risk taker( not very good characteristics for a guy belonging to a 1% MC)
Daniella, definitely shows her age and lack of maturity as she agrees to run off with the big bad biker and damn the consequences until she realizes they might be on the run forever(irrational thinking);
But with all that being said, the story was written remarkably well, a few typos along the way, but the story just wasn't for me; I am still interested in finishing out the series but the surprises and turn of events seemed logically the best step in this story, it just didn't sit well with me (I guess, I am still blown away by Demon's story!) off to go to next in the series.

This is my favorite of the Soldiers of Wrath and even for a novella I liked it. I think Shakes is better off away from that club he's a better man than all of them put together. I hope someone will put Zeke out of his misery, he is just too cruel for me to want to see any woman with him. I get some women want pain but a real man wouldn't take advantage of it and how does he know they really like it since he buys and sells women they are made to do what he wants. They would be too afraid to tell him they didn't like it. He doesn't deserve to be happy he needs to be gone. Pain can be given without bruising and beating their back with a whip. I used to like Reese but no longer when he said wtf when Shakes chose Dani. We see now he would give up Amy in a heartbeat. And where is that baby they had???

Shakes is a rough biker who don't really care for love. He is just after a good time. Daniella who a college students that has the best of things in life but also has a cruel father who loves and wants to protect her at all cost. A fast read!!!

I couldn't look away! I loved this story! I loved how Shakes (H) was so ott alpha that he risked everything for Dani (h). Kinda realistic that he was voted out of the club for what he did but I'm satisfied that he didn't have any regrets.

I was honored to receive this book as an ARC from the wonderful Jenika. In return I was to give an honest review so here it goes.
I knew going into this book that it was very different from the other books I have read from theses ladies. They didn’t disappoint it was a heart racer. I love the way these ladies write the sex scenes and the emotions they bring out of the characters.

And Shakes lived up to his name! I felt all of these things while reading.
Shakes went against the club and took Daniella. That in its own was his biggest mistake. But then making her his was the cherry on top. I thought Daniella was this weak dumb girl who didn’t know how to fit in her Dad’s life. Well I was wrong. She is this strong g girl that just needed to be treated as the adult she is. I was surprised by her strength and loyalty towards Shakes.
Seeing Shakes in love was something refreshing. He can be such a hard ass bastard but when he is with Dani its like someone else. I think I found my new asswhole hero. He goes to many lengths for her. Just that he is willing to take off and leave his cut to never put it on again proofs that he really did love her. I never expected the way things were left with the club. But to see him and Dani happy at the end made it worth it.
I was blown away by the whole story and can’t wait for more Soldiers and for Zeke’s story.

This is the fourth book in the Soldiers of Wrath series. This is one of my absolute favorite MC series of all time. Shakes is a member of the Soldiers of Wrath MC. He likes to ride, he likes to drink, he likes to fight & he loves to fuck. He looks around at his brothers that have all fallen for women & thinks it will never happen to him. Then Zeke asks Demon for a favor, he needs the MC to go to his daughter, Daniella's college & pick her up. After that Zeke asks Demon if he could keep her at the clubhouse for a while & keep her safe. Demon agrees & tells all of his men that Dani is hands off or else Zeke will kill them. Shakes can't seem to shake his growing attraction to Dani. He's not even sure why because she's not his usual type, Dani is innocent & kind of nerdy. Dani wants Shakes too but she knows her Dad will never allow anything between the two of them. Shakes goes to Zeke & tells him he wants Dani & Zeke tells him he will kill him if he touches her. Shakes does the unthinkable & unbeknownst to his club brothers he takes Dani & the two lovers go on the run. Demon is pissed, Zeke is filled with murderous rage. Who will find them first ? Will Zeke kill Shakes ? What will the MC do to him ?

I really felt for Shakes and Daniella. Forced to run away to be together because her father Zeke and Soldier MC pres Demon are against it. Zeke threatens to kill Demon's old lady if he doesn't find Shakes and get Dani back. Shakes and Dani make a lot of sacrifices when they don't really know each other very well.Shakes is attracted to Dani but has been warned she's off limits.Dani is staying with the club while Zeke does business he doesn't want her involved, and Dani has been mistreated by her mother. Dani's mom forced her to diet,mentally abused her about her weight and looks, and when Zeke witnesses it he takes Dani. The only problem is Dani doesn't trust her father, they haven't spent much time together,so Zeke has a lot to make up for. Not to mention Dani knows what Zeke does for his "business." Shakes is the first guy not afraid to talk to her. He's bold, he cares about Dani,and chooses her above the club. Shakes loses quite a bit in the end,but when in love no one loses, 3.5*

I received this book as an ARC for a honest review. Have being a fan of Jenika Snow and Sam Crescent for a long time and this ladies does not disappoint as always. This is book four in the Soldiers of Wrath Series and is about the story of Daniella and Shakes. It was intense, exciting, crazy, naughty, passionate from page one till the end. I don't want to give anything away but OH MY GOD! I didn't expect the outcome, but after reading it, WOW an EPIC FINALE. I would gladly recommend reading this book. Can't wait for the next one.
