My twin stole my mate, my crown, and—after she clawed back from the dead—my newborn son.
I was never the Luna. I was the spare—matched blood shoved into Alpha Theron's bed the day my "dead" sister vanished, because twin blood keeps a grieving pack from splitting apart.
Two years of an Alpha who growled Rowan's name into his whiskey. Two years branded the counterfeit.
Then Rowan strolled back through the gates, alive and smiling, and Theron signed my rejection in front of the whole pack.
They buried an empty box and called it me.
Now I command the deadliest rogue-hunting pack in the Frostlands—and I keep a file thick with my sister's treason.
Then a half-starved pup tracks my blood across three territories, silver burns from Rowan's abuse up both arms, and whispers, "Mom?"
When Theron kneels at my door, the bond I swore I'd killed roars back—his mouth hot at my throat, fangs at the mark he never finished.
He wants forgiveness. Rowan wants war. Neither knows I've been hunting them both.
Not great. Some of the plot really didn't make sense and the crescendo really wasn't all that. The MMC can get in the bin, he was a rubbish alpha. He let everyone control him and walk all over him because it was easier, he didn't lead at all. For me the abuse he allowed was completely unforgivable, no matter what he did. That poor little boy would never be seeing him again.
I’m telling you…. I get so into the lives of the people in these stories that I get emotionally drained. Bring on the tissues. Whew! So many things happening, the missing twin, the ‘replacement’ sister, the evil twin returns, tension, madness, and mayhem ensues. Yowza. This book is filled with love, joy, laughter, tears, suspense, mystery, and adventure. Everything a great book needs. I’m enjoying this author so much that I’m reading one book after another and not getting anything done around the house. Oh well. Reading happens. I believe you will enjoy this book as much as I have. Snuggle into your favorite reading place and just start reading. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
Yep this one was pretty bad. For an alpha, the MMC was a real loser. Let everyone dictate his behavior. Didn’t understand two years of the FMC being the a “substitute Luna”situation. Just because she and the traitorous twin have the same face???? Many inconsistencies. Silver is dangerously but towards the end the evil twin sister undoes her silver clasp from her cloak. Okay silver, are you dangerous or decorative? The abuse the child suffered at the hands of his fake mother was awful and the MMC allowed it to take place. Just a mess of an idea that was very poorly es executed.
I really enjoyed this book. The MMC is very weak, I think, and it takes him a long time to manup. The MFC is stronger, but doesn't stand up for herself as she should.
