OMG, what an absolute delight it was to go on this adventure with Pier and Anya... talk about the most delicious roller coaster of the year!
Reid has you glued to your book, devouring page after page, and when you finally get to “The End,” you want to start all over again because these are characters you simply can’t let go of.
Knot Again, Anya tells the story of Pier Sharp and Anya Thor, two unexpected high school besties who, somewhere along the way, fall head over heels for each other. But in a twisted turn of events, everything blows up in their faces, and their lives part in the most devastating of ways.
Fast forward ten years...
Pier is now a well-loved sapphic influencer with an army of fans called Sharpies doting on her. Together with her bestie, millionaire business mogul Lexi Applebaum, she’s taking the world by storm.
Meanwhile, Anya is resettling in the big city to build her career as a PR agent, and since she’s really good at what she does, she gets to play in the big leagues almost instantly. But, of course, fate has other plans, because the big leagues happen to include her ex, Pier... and the two of them are forced to work together on the launch of a new sapphic dating app trained to detect soulmates.

First and foremost, this book is incredibly sexy! From fumbling advances to all-out war on a woman’s body, it’s a rollercoaster of emotions. I’m part of the “Reid Redman ruined me club,” so this book is 100% lady puddle approved. Scorching! End of! Secondly, I’m pretty sure this is one of the best character-focused books I’ve read in a long time. It’s my Sapphic Book of the Year for 2026 for a reason. READ IT!
I come from a small town in the South, and this book embraces those stereotypes, making it both entertaining and painful. There’s definitely some trauma there, and there’s truth in this book that you can’t comprehend without having lived it. It resonated deeply with me, to my southern core.
The characters are heartbreakingly honest, and the writing is breathtaking. The emotions are raw and real. Reid Redman broke me and miraculously, thankfully, got the super glue out and meticulously put me back together again, piece by piece.
The writing is top-tier, goddess-level goodness. The romance is fire! There’s a lot of push and pull, and there’s a lot of hurt that the characters needed to let go of to move forward.
When I think about the stakes in this from both characters’ perspectives, I understand. They both have so much healing to do. But it’s what I love so much about Knot Again, Anya. The love that never left, the painful past that we all sometimes cling to, it’s how we uplift and come together, stronger for the journey.
I loved this book so much. Reid is a very talented author, and you'll not be dissatisfied with Knot Again, Anya.

This was a good read. 📘Not my typical genre, I admit, but the character arc and emotional payoff are there. If you love high-heat 🔥contemporary romance, this is absolutely your next read.

Yes, I took my sweet time reading this one… but can you blame me? This book was WAY too good to rush. 😭❤️
Pier and Anya are childhood best friends from Killjoy who couldn’t be more opposite. Pier? Gorgeous, popular, cheerleader energy. Anya? Nerdy little librarian. 📚
But behind closed doors, they shared something beautiful… until one devastating day when EVERYTHING went to hell.
Pier loses her family, her home, and the woman she loves—while Anya makes the ultimate heartbreak move: she gets pregnant, marries someone else, and buries her true feelings for Pier. 🥀
Years pass, and fate brings them back together.
Because apparently the road to true love needed trauma, heartbreak, secrets, and several emotional potholes. 😂
