From NYTs and USA Today bestselling author Lisa Mondello...

The McKinnon family romances continue with ONE DAKOTA NIGHT, book 9 of Dakota Hearts...

Grace McKinnon had her chance at love, and she lost. She'd married a thrill seeking rodeo man who was never around. All she wants now is to find someone she can depend on while she raises her young son who is determined to follow in his father's footsteps. When she meets her cousin Ethan's friend, a form Navy SEAL, she thinks it's just more of the same. Same man, different suit. But Grace soon learns that life can be thrilling with the right man...as long as she's in his arms.

It had been a long time since Jace Strickland had some decent time off to think about anything other than the military. At a crossroad in his life, he has two months of leave to decide whether to reenlist in the Navy or discover something else in life that gives him the same rush as being a Navy SEAL. Meeting single mother Grace McKinnon at a veterans event in South Dakota was an unexpected pleasure. Given the nature of the life he'd chosen, he'd never been the forever kind of man. He craved adventure. But Grace's sweet lips and loving heart makes him wonder if the ultimate rush in life...is loving one special woman for the rest of his life.

One Dakota Night

This is the story of a Navy seal who was between a rock and a hard place as he did not know what he wanted in life. He meets a sister of his friend who had retired from the seals to marry the love of his life. The sister is everything he did not know he was looking for in a woman and a friend. One Dakota Night by Lisa Mondello
Dakota Hearts Series Book Nine
Grace McKinnon is the only girl in the McKinnon clan. She is well-loved and protected by all the men in her family. Though, they couldn't protect her heart when her ex-husband broke it. The last thing Grace wanted in her life was another adventure seeking male. And that was just what her cousin Ethan's friend seemed to be.

Jace “Strick” Strickland had some decisions to make. He was glad when his friend Ethan invited him to Rudolph while making those decisions. Would he continue as a Navy SEAL or not? Should he invest in Ethan's cousin's venture for wounded veterans? And the biggest and most unexpected question... What about Grace?

Once again the reader is taken to the small town of Rudolph and that wonderful McKinnon family. Grace's five handsome cousins have all found true love and three of her brother's have as well. Is there a second chance for her too?

Strick and Grace spend time together while her son is visiting his father. Grace feels like she's losing Liam because he wants to rodeo like his father.

Strick is in town checking out the War Veteran programs. A friend left him money for a good cause and after her death he's also looking for some peace in his life. He's been a SEAL, but isn't sure he's up for re-enlisting.

This was a nice story. There were sexual situations. And there was a little bit of editing problems with extra words thrown in quite a few sentences that were distracting.

Terrific story!

This is Grace McKinnon(the only female sister/cousin of 9 siblings) and Strick(Jace) former Seal story. Story is centered around a large family, their live, life, and happiness. Excellent story to a terrific series.

I love this book. The entire series has been great fun to read. I hope there are more in the future. Each of the stories is different and with a great story. They feel like a family of friends. This is what family should be like. Everyone pulls for the other and helps when needed.

It was refreshing to read about the woman in the McKinnon family. It was a fantastic story of a new beginning. Love is sometimes around the corner. You just have to believe.
