This book has literally everything about the sacraments in it. It even has the ordinary of the mass in the back!
It seems unfair to rate this, but I gave it 4 stars anyway because for some reason I can never get into Laux's writing style.

Brief but thorough and clear explanation of the means of Grace -the Sacraments. This is the second volume of a series of books written by Father Laux for use in Catholic high schools as religion primers in the late nineteen-twenties and here reprinted in nineteen-ninety by Tan Books with notes by the editor where applicable using the 1983 Code of Canon Law and other current binding Church documents. Fr. Laux references Scripture, Church Fathers, and writings of the saints throughout in a way that makes for thoughtful and interesting reading. It is to be remembered that the initial audience was intended for school students and thus is not too difficult a read. This is not a book read just once and then done. It is excellent for frequent referencing too. I highly recommend it. Also covered is Indulgences, Sacramentals and a nice illustrated appendix of the traditional Mass in Latin paralleled with English and a handy, brief illustration of Sacred Vessels and Vestments.
