AUTHOR NOTE
In Darkness We Claim is book one of the Crows trilogy, part of the Obsidian Order series—where secrets reign, power corrupts, and passion ruins. The trilogy follows one couple, so the first two books will end on cliffhangers, and you’ll need to read them all in order to get to the HEA.
The Obsidian Order series comprises four trilogies, each focusing on the different Houses, with a new couple for each one. They are dark romance books that all contain mature themes and sexual scenes, so please check the content warnings before diving in.
I'm back after sitting down with my thoughts on this book. I hit 20% and I kid you not, I loved Lawson already. Lawson behaved like a kid pulling the pigtails of the girl he likes to get her attention and to a degree he did exactly that from the moment he met Harper which was cute. I thank Bram for pointing that out because it made a lot of sense.
Lawson is very self-aware even when sometimes he prefers to bury his head on the sand because when you have something so good in your life, you don't wanna think how you're gonna do the impossible to not lose it. He is also the King of affirmations! Ugh, every single time he assured Harper how beautiful she was, I fell a little more for him. He was such a vital part in Harper's journey to discover who she really was as a person because she only lived in the shadow and expectations of her father until she agreed to be Lawson's Prize.
"I want to watch you explore, to find out what you like, what your body craves. I want to see the moment you realise how f*cking gorgeous you really are, and how unstoppable that makes you if you truly know how to use it. "
I liked Harper from the beginning too. She always performed the role of a future Order Wife but with Lawson, her true self always peaked through. When she consented to being Lawson's Prize, her journey of self discovery began. One of the beautiful things was seeing her becoming comfortable in her own skin while also sexually discovering herself. Lawson knew early on the power she could have and he decided to help Harper discover it for herself. Now it's a matter of when she is going to realise that.
"She doesn't realise that there's a level of power that comes with embracing her s3*uality, and when she truly learns to wield it over me, I'm in for a world of trouble,"
I just loved how much Lawson believed in Harper and the person she was becoming. He never lets her hide whenever she wants/ needs to voice her wants and needs and he always, always, makes it clear that he sees her as the most beautiful woman in the world and that's not just physically. It's a mixture of physical with the attitude of knowing she's hot with the look in her eyes showing her love for him that truly makes her irresistible to him and nothing and no one will change that. I truly loved Harper's progression, it was beautiful to see.
I loved Lawson and Harper but this cliffhanger put things into perspective. I don't know how these two are coming back for this but I trust Emma to pull it through. I know she won't disappoint.
I loved Bram, Lawson's bff, and Wren, Harper's bff. They are great friends even though I'm side eyeing Bram a bit for the part he took in the cliffhanger. I loved this world so far and I truly cannot wait for the next book.
I loved the little nod to the title of a future book. ' 'In Darkness We Control' - this is the motto we live by, and we only accept Pledges who can take the shadows and own them.
It's a bit hard to choose but i think my favorite quote is this:
"You are everything I could ever want, and nobody will ever compare to you. I can tell by the look in your eyes that you don't believe me, but I will not stop until you do."
LAWSON RADLEY, I NEED TO SPEAK TO YOUR FUCKING MANAGER.
Actually, no. I need to speak to Emma Luna because WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL WAS THAT ENDING?! 😭🔥
I went into this thinking I could handle a morally questionable man with a filthy mouth and enough red flags to decorate an entire football field. Apparently, I was WRONG. Lawson had me falling for him, kicking my feet, blushing like an idiot, and questioning every single one of my life choices. Sir, I was supposed to be judging you, NOT GETTING EMOTIONALLY ATTACHED! 🥵🖤
And the tension between Lawson and Harper? ABSOLUTELY UNHINGED. The enemies-to-lovers energy, the attitude, the obsession, the possessiveness, the back-and-forth banter? These two could turn a simple conversation into a full-blown sexual harassment seminar, and I would STILL be sitting here screaming, “KISS HER, YOU PSYCHOTIC BASTARD!” 😂🔥
Lawson really said, “I can still hate you and want to fuck you.”
SIR. THE AUDACITY. THE CONFIDENCE. THE COMPLETE AND UTTER LACK OF CHILL. 🥵
“Oh, sweetheart, I’m not helping you. I’m just a possessive arsehole, and I want to be the only one who makes you cry.”
LAWSON, YOU ABSOLUTE MENACE. 🚩🖤 Sir, that is not a love language. That is a psychological evaluation waiting to happen, and unfortunately, I AM LISTENING.
And Harper? Watching her slowly come into herself, find her strength, and start challenging everything she's been taught had me CHEERING. GIRL, STAND YOUR GROUND! FIND YOUR POWER! MAKE THEM REGRET UNDERESTIMATING YOU! 👏🏻🖤
But then comes the betrayal.
THE BETRAYAL.
I cannot say much without spoiling things, but EXCUSE ME?! After everything Harper goes through, after watching her grow and begin to claim her own power, THAT is what we're doing?! My girl deserved better, and I am sitting here with my jaw on the floor, my heart in pieces, and a suspicious number of imaginary people on my hit list.
And Lawson… LAWSON. I fell for you, you infuriating, possessive, filthy-mouthed menace. I LET YOU IN. I TRUSTED YOU WITH MY EMOTIONS. AND NOW I'M HURT AND ANGRY. Do you understand the consequences of your actions, sir?! Because I am NOT okay. 😭🔪
Then Emma Luna decided to end this book on a CLIFFHANGER.
A CLIFFHANGER.
Not a gentle little “oh, I wonder what happens next.” No. This woman launched me into the emotional abyss and switched off the fucking lights.
I NEED THE NEXT BOOK. I NEED ANSWERS. I NEED JUSTICE FOR HARPER. AND LAWSON? YOU AND I HAVE SOME UNFINISHED BUSINESS. 👀🔥
This book managed to make me lose sleep even after finishing it. I could not stop thinking about the story and the characters, especially the ending. I can't wait for the next book to come out!
This book has so many of my favorite things: dark romance, secret society, good girl/bad boy, and forbidden romance. I easily became obsessed with this story.
Lawson notices Harper immediately at the welcome party for the Crow House, one of four houses in the Obsidian Order, a powerful secret society. Unfortunately, she is betrothed to his rival and, therefore, off limits. The only time he can interact with her is when he is pushing her fiancé's buttons or bullying Harper. Not only does he believe Harper is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen, but he sees the strong woman hiding behind the shy girl mask she is forced to wear to be considered the perfect "Order Wife". When her father is labeled a traitor and she loses everything, he sees this as his opportunity to finally have the girl he has always wanted. He is determined to claim her as his Prize (a girl who agrees to belong to a pledge for their final year).
Harper does her best to fulfill the role given to her. She must be sweet, kind, quiet, obedient, and, of course, remain a virgin to be an Order Wife. She is betrothed to Ryan, and while the two of them don't really have feelings for each other, she is content with the life laid out for her. Until she loses it all. Becoming Lawson's Prize will offer her some protection from her classmates who believe her father is a traitor, but it means losing her chance to ever be an Order wife since she will have to submit to Lawson in every way. She may have to obey Lawson, but as his Prize, she is free to explore her sexuallity and who she truly is as a person. She discovers that she doesn't want to go back to the life she had before.
Lawson and Harper have known the whole time that their relationship could never be more than it is. Lawson will be expected to have an arranged marriage with someone who is a virgin and part of the Order to gain more power for his family and now that Harper has given herself to him as his Prize, that can never be her. They cling to their time together, fully aware that the clock is running out, and they can only hope that it will be enough.
I love Emma Luna’s writing, and this book reminded me why. She has a way of making you feel like you're right there in the scene, living it all with the characters.
The beginning was SO good! The secrets, the bullying, the secret society, the power games...
Lawson is arrogant, possessive, obsessive, controlling, and absolutely refuses to admit he's falling for Harper. But guess what, Lawson? We know! The man literally kills for her. If that's not "touch her and die" vibes, I don't know what is. And let's not forget how much he loves punishing her. 🔥
When Harper's father is imprisoned and branded a traitor, her whole world falls apart. Becoming Lawson's Prize seems to be her only option to help prove her father's innocence and protect herself. She already has feelings for Lawson, so that part comes easily enough. And despite all his bad qualities, he treats her well... until he doesn't. WTF, Law??? Way to go, man!
Now, here's my problem. Once Lawson claims Harper as his Prize, the spice just keeps coming, and coming, and coming (pun intended). I love my books spicy, but I also need a hefty dose of secrets, suspense, and plot. And the plot was actually GOOD! I just wish we hadn't spent so much time between the sheets when there was so much more going on... But what can I say? What a Crow wants, a Crow gets... especially when it's Lawson. 👀
I also really hope Harper grows a backbone in the next book. I wanted to see her stand up for herself instead of constantly being pushed around, bullied, and humiliated.
Still, Emma's writing had me hooked, Lawson is one hell of a morally grey MMC, and that cliffhanger... WHAT THE HELL?!
If you enjoy dark romance filled with secret societies, obsession, power struggles, and morally grey characters, this one is worth checking out! Welcome to Shadowmere University, where the mysterious Obsidian Order controls everything from the shadows, and power comes at a dangerous price.
Lawson Radley is ruthless, calculating, possessive, and determined to get exactly what he wants. Harper Westmore has spent her entire life preparing for a future that suddenly comes crashing down around her. When their paths become intertwined, neither is prepared for what follows.
I really enjoyed the secret society setting and the world Emma Luna created. The different Houses, dangerous assignments, rivalries, and power struggles added plenty of intrigue to the story. Lawson is definitely a morally grey MMC! He's obsessive, controlling, and used to getting his way, but I enjoyed seeing the different layers of his character as his relationship with Harper developed. I also liked watching Harper begin to question everything she'd been taught and find her own voice.
The chemistry between Lawson and Harper is intense, and there's plenty of spice! Between the secrets, manipulation, emotional tension, and unexpected developments, I was invested in seeing how their story would unfold.
Please check the content warnings before reading, as this is a dark romance with mature and potentially triggering themes.
Thank you to Emma Luna for the gifted eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Release date - October 15th 📆
Wow, I devoured this! Full of some my all time favourite tropes, and the minute I read them I knew I was going to love this book! If you love the Lord series I would highly recommend this book🖤
We have the Obsidian Order an elite secret society that trains future leaders and have very set rules and procedures to follow. We have our FMC Harper who has been trained all her life to be the perfect Obsidian order wife. We have our MMC Lawson who is training to be an Obsidian leader and this is where their story begins.
Lawson was the type of antihero where I thought I know I probably shouldn’t like him, but no matter what he did you just couldn’t help falling for him. He has been conditioned in the way he thinks/works and has built his walls to be a tough guy, and I really felt for him in that sense but none the less he was possessive, obsessive and a typical bad boy but that’s what we want right?😉 he was so hot, and that backwards cap I was like putty every time imagining him wearing it, IYKYK🤪
Everything should be just transactional but feelings arise, feelings are attempted to be fought but when it’s meant to be nothing will get in the way of that surely?👀
Towards the end, my heart broke and I won’t say why and give spoilers but once you read you’ll know exactly what I’m referring too, and that cliffhanger?! What the hell! I cannot believe I got to wait until next year for the second book🫣
I honestly loved this book and the characters. I loved the similarities to the Lords vibes, written so well and really sets the scene for you!
What do you mean I have to wait six months? That cliffy was just mean. The rollercoaster of emotions in that last chapter alone. Loved this story and can’t wait for book two. Check TWs but definitely give it a shot. My heart is broken for Lawson and Harper at the moment.
I HAVE NO WORDS. This book absolutely WRECKED ME...in the BEST way possible. The writing? Phenomenal. The chokehold this book had on me was INSANE. I was hooked from start to finish and I genuinely don't think I'll be recovering anytime soon. Yes, I may have received an ARC directly from the author but I am NOT lying when I say this book is THAT GOOD. EVERYTHING was so well done. I am genuinely obsessed and I already NEED the next books. I cannot wait to read the next books 😭😭😭😭
60% into "In Darkness We Claim" I had to DNF'd due to too many similarities around the characters storylines and their development aswell as the plot of the secret society that aligned with another college dark romance secret society book.
Secret society, college bully, and holy cliffhanger! That should be illegal. 😅 The vibes are vibing hard. What a great start to the trilogy. I can't wait to see what happens next!
In the Darkness We Claim by Emma Luna | Reading Update & Soft DNF
This was my FIRST time reading an Emma Luna book, and I’m genuinely happy I got the opportunity to dive into this one! Give me a protective, possessive MMC and a dark society vibe, and I’m READY.
I will say, this book was giving me Give Me the Lord series vibes, and I was HERE for it! If you know, you know!
Lawson and Harper definitely caught my attention. Lawson was giving me the kind of MMC I expected, and I genuinely enjoyed his character. Harper took a little longer to grow on me, but I was interested in seeing how her character developed.
BUT HERE’S WHERE I HAD TO PUT THE BOOK DOWN.
Unfortunately, I had to soft DNF this one at 35%. Don’t get me wrong, the book was good! My problem was that I kept noticing so many similarities to another book I recently read and absolutely LOVED. And the more I read, the harder it became for me to separate the two stories.
Sometimes it’s not that a book is bad or that the author did anything wrong. The timing just isn’t right, especially when another story you recently loved is still fresh in your mind. I found myself comparing the two, and I couldn’t get past it.
I’m not completely giving up on this book, though! I may come back to it when I have a little more distance from the other story and can give Lawson and Harper the attention they deserve.
For now, this is a SOFT DNF at 35%, but I’m still happy I got the opportunity to experience Emma Luna’s writing for the first time.
When I saw this was a dark college romance featuring a secret society I was sold. We follow Lawson and Harper at Shadowmere where Lawson is a member of the Crows. Harper has been trained her whole life to be the perfect order wife but when her Father is arrested for being a traitor her perfectly planned life is completely flipped upside down and she finds herself at the mercy of Lawson.
If you love lots of spice this is certainly a book for you! This book was filled with spicy scenes with lots of exploration. There was a lot of character development with Harper and I liked seeing the softer side to Lawson when it came to her. I enjoyed the writing and think a lot of dark romance readers will really enjoy this. For me personally there was a lot more spice than I typically like in a book. The story does end on a cliffhanger so be warned! I didn’t expect Lawson to be so brutal! Intrigued to see how their story will continue.
Thank you to the author for sending me a copy to review.
In Darkness is we Claim is book one in Emma's new series/world that follows the Obsidian Order- a secret society that rules from the shadows.
We have Pledges who are sorted into one of four houses (gives me dark Harry Potter vibes and I am here for it!) each series will be based on a different house and each one will have its own trilogy.
The series is set at Shadowmere University where we follow high crow Lawson and fallen from grace Harper who agrees to be his prize for a year. I literally did not want to put this down. Harper is shy and reserved and my heart breaks for her in so many ways. I love the development of Lawson already and seeing his let his guard come down for Harper is so nice to see. If you love - Enemies to lovers - Morally grey MMC - Touch her and die - Virgin FMC You need to read it! It is dark and delicious (please check TW) and I ate it up in the best way. Books 1 and 2 end on cliffhangers before I am assured I will get my HEA in book 3.
Thank you Emma for reaching out to me and sending me a copy, prepare for me to check in constantly for book 2 early please and thank you! 😂
I'm really struggling with the fact it is very similar to another series I have read. It needs to go off in a different direction for the next book to avoid to many similarities. I'm trying to look at it in it own, world it has fab characters and build up and a great paced read. The bullying of The FMC Harper really brings her into her own. And the MMC Lawson is determined to be the best of the best. Overall I did enjoy the book and will look forward to reading the next in this series.
What?!!!! Oh my goodness, Emma my dear, I need the next book asap! What a journey. Super spicy (🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥), secret society, dark romance. Please check your triggers! Obsidian Order - The Crows book one in a trilogy follows Lawson and his prize Harper 🥰 I do not read blurbs or reviews. I love to go into a book blind. I am thrilled that I did!! I won't give any spoilers but my poor heart at the end. 💔😭
OH MY WORD.... If there ever was a closing scene that left a reader desperate for more, it is this one! The emotions I experienced whilst reading those final chapters were intense! I love a book that makes me feel, and this was a reminder that dark romance isn't always champagne and roses. Sometimes it leaves you with your heart in your throat, and that is exactly what happened here.
In Darkness We Claim is the first book in Emma Luna's Obsidian Order Series, and I need book two! Lawson and Harper's story isn't over yet, and after that ending, I am desperate to know what happens next!
Dark romance is one of my favourite subgenres, although dark academia is one I tend to reach for less often than others. I absolutely loved being introduced to Shadowmere University and the Obsidian Order, and getting to know the key characters and the roles they play within both institutions.
The author obviously delves deeper into the lives of protagonists Lawson and Harper, and I absolutely loved witnessing their journey. Watching these enemies turn into lovers was fascinating, especially given who they are and the roles they are destined to play. Their relationship certainly kept me interested, and I loved seeing how my feelings towards Lawson changed throughout the narrative.
My only niggle would be that, after such an incredible start, I found the focus shifted a little too much towards the sexual relationship between the couple at times, rather than developing the storyline further. However, those final chapters certainly made up for it! The emotions were intense, and that ending was brilliant. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!
Of course, I handed over my heart to Lawson, and I loved that my feelings towards him changed throughout the story. Harper's character development whilst under the 'care' of Lawson was also fabulous to witness, and I really hope we get to see more of her spirit and strength as their story continues.
Emma Luna, if you happen to be taking requests, I would absolutely LOVE Bram's story at some point in the near future! Just putting that out there. If that isn't on the cards, then I'll happily settle for enjoying every scene he appears in.
Overall, this was an intriguing introduction to the Obsidian Order Series, and despite my little niggle, I am so glad I picked it up. I have questions, I need answers, and I am not ready to say goodbye to Lawson and Harper just yet!
Dark University Romance Bad Boy vs Good Girl Enemies-to-lovers Touch Her & ☠️ Virgin FMC Secret Society 🤫
"Oh, sweetheart, I'm not helping you. I'm just a possessive arsehole , and I want to be the only one who makes you cry "
This book ate up my whole day. I devoured it!
Lawson is definitely my man! (I was ready to fight my friends for him) Any man that can bring a woman out of herself has my vote! Especially one thats had it drilled into her to be a certain way her whole life. I love that Harper finds herself in the place she least expected it! Lawson knew exactly what she wanted and needed and it was hot 🔥 🥵
The tension that built up to 71% had me on the edge of my seat the several nearly happens and then when it finally did. God it didn't disappoint! And neither did the spice!!
Growing up in a secret society the way these characters has must have been difficult but they all have their own trauma from it. An incident happens which completely shifts the dynamic and changes life for a few of them thats for sure. You start to really think wow we might just have a HEA then boom 💥
And because of the boom 💥 me and Emma cannot be friends for the foreseeable 😅

This book was such a wild ride and I looooved it! I’ve absolutely been loving the secret society vibes and this one did not disappoint! Both of the main characters were so different but we’re still the perfect match for each other.
Lawson, he’s brutal, ruthless, he’ll do anything to stay on top and prove he’s the best. And he doesn’t stop when he makes Harper his. Only love was never supposed to be part of the plan. He may have this show of being cold to everyone else, but little by little, that mask chips away and only Harper gets to see the real side of him. Harper’s character development was such an amazing thing to read as well. She was so timid, scared, and let everyone push and beat her down. But he helped her get her voice, to know not only how beautiful she was but how strong and capable she was. They truly brought out the best in each other.
The story itself was such a wild ride, and even though it did have similar tropes as several other books I’ve read recently, it was still so unique and I was so excited to read what was going to happen next. This was such an enjoyable read, and omg that ending!! I absolutely cannot waiiiit to read the next book!
This book was amazing! Dark university romance with enemies to lovers dynamic, obsessive & possessive MMC, secret society, touch her and die vibes and lots of delicious spicy scenes.
I loved this book! The chemistry and dynamic between Harper and Lawson was amazing and I loved how much confidence Harper gained throughout the story. At the beginning she was this shy, virgin girl, trained to be a good wife, but she really found herself with Lawson’s help and became a lot stronger and way more confident.
Oh Lawson 🫠🔥 He could do anything to me lol. Obsessive, possessive, “only I can hurt you” type of MMC. Loved seeing a softer side of him towards the end and how he broke his no kissing rule for Harper.
The ending!! I can’t wait to read what happens next and I need the next book like right now haha
I highly recommend checking this book out if you enjoy secret society vibes, high spice bully romances and an obsessive MMC who literally tattoos his name to you just to show everyone that he owns you.
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I'm fairly certain this book just broke me. I've had sleep issues for years and can no longer stay up late reading as my brain just knocks me out sometime after 8pm. Harper and Lawson's story had me so hooked that I somehow managed to stay up until 5am finishing it. And now I'm devastated. I loved Harper so much, and she did not deserve what life dealt her. It was so amazing to see her embrace who she was and start to live how she wanted overthe course of this book. Lawson was darkness personified, and his obsession with Harper had him feeling things neither of them could afford. While I desperately hoped for things to be okay, I knew this first book in their story would destroy me. I am still trying to process all that happened in the end. I just don't know how you come back from that. Part of me wants Harper to walk away and start life over somewhere far away. But another part wants to see just how much worse it can get and if any of it can be salvaged. This was such an intense world, and I am so excited we will get so many books set in it. This was dark and twisty and hot as hell. I can't wait to see what happens next.
In Darkness We Claim is book one in the Crows Trilogy. It is a dark, university, enemies to lovers, secret society romance with a morally black MMC and a virgin FMC. The story is told in first person, dual pov.
When Harper's family has a huge fall from grace, Lawson swoops in to claim her as his prize. But trust me, Lawson is no knight in shining armor! He is obsessive, possessive, very controlling, and has his own agenda. In short, he has a red flag tattooed right across his forehead. Harper, on the other hand, is a sweet, proper woman, just like her dad raised her to be.
This was a dark and delicious read with intrigue and spice galore. The chemistry and spice between Lawson and Harper was HOT! I had a love/hate relationship with Lawson, but fell completely in love with Harper. I felt for her and all that she faces and I really enjoyed her character growth throughout the story. I don't know how I'm supposed to deal with that brutal cliffhanger, but I guess I'll just have to be patient and wait for book two to find out what will happen next!
Thank you so very much to Emma Luna for the ARC; all thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are 100% my own.
I was absolutely buzzing when this ARC hit my emails. I couldn’t get to it fast enough! I already love Emma’s writing, so a new trilogy? Yes please!
It’s dark, it’s spicy, and it comes with plenty of trigger warnings… or a menu if you prefer. 😏
We follow Lawson through his years at Shadowmere University — taking his pledge, completing his assignments and ultimately claiming his prize, Harper.
Harper has intrigued him from the moment they meet. Promised as a pure bride to the Obsidian Order, everything changes when her father is arrested and taken to prison. Now she needs protection, and she turns to the last person you’d expect.
The spice in this book is HOT, hot ,hot but it’s the story that really pulls you in. You need to know what happens next, and putting this book down is practically impossible!
I loved this book for so many reasons and in spite of a secret society that was chaffing my feminism. Who doesn’t love an absolutely ruthless MMC that is secretly opposed to tradition and is ultimately only soft for her?! I mean, come on! Swoon, much? Lawson was so easy to love, even when it was easy to hate him. Harper is an FMC that is struggling with her identity and confidence and I can’t wait to see how she evolves as the trilogy for Crowhurst House continues. I absolutely abhorred how this book ended - I didn’t know exactly how drastic the cliffhanger would be but I was dreading it for several chapters and it was worse than I imagined, yet I am itching for the next book. My heart was completely torn out of my chest and shredded and Emma’s got her work cut out for her to mend what she has broken! In Darkness We Claim was dark and twisty, yet somehow comforting at the same time. I’m intrigued by Emma’s new world of the Obsidian Order and already can’t wait to see what the other houses have in store for us.
Welcome to Shadowmere University — where the Obsidian Order rules in the shadows. Nothing and no one is off limits ... until Lawson Radley lays eyes on Harper Westmore. The one girl who is. There’s an instant fire between them from their first meeting. And when he finally gets to claim her…… It gets wild. One year no feelings and he demands full submission — nothing less. She’s the timid, perfect order-wife-in-training who has no idea what she’s walking into. Will he break his own rules? Will she make it out with her heart still intact? Read In Darkness We Claim and find out. I absolutely devoured it. It’s raw, dark, filthy, and that cliffhanger? Your jaw will be on the floor. If you love secret society romance with beyond possessive men, this book is definitely for you.
Noooooo OMFG How can it end like that. That cliffhanger as left me with my jaw on the floor and my heart broken. What on earth have I just read , this brand new series as definitely started off with a bang. This new universe is on the darker side so please read the TW. I love Harper so much but my heart is breaking for her at the minute and I just want to give her a hug. Lawson is definitely a ob$e$$ive and po$$e$$ive guy and i can't wait to see what he does next in this series. Incredible five-star start to this brand new series. Im now desperately waiting for more Lawson and Harper and I can't wait for even more couples in this universe. Im hoping some certain besties are getting their stories told.

Literally just finished reading this book and the cliffhanger has me in desperate need for the next book immediately.
My heart is breaking for Harper and Lawson.
I should write more but my brain isnt functioning properly at the moment and my heart is breaking for these characters. I hope 4 of them get what they deserve in the worst way possible in the next book.
Dark romance, college setting, secret society, bullying, and more... This book was filled with drama, secrets, some danger, emotional moments, and lots of spice.
I loved Lawson and Harper so much. Lawson was constantly encouraging her and telling her how special she was. I loved his possessive and obsessive ways. I enjoyed watching Harper grow and find out who she is and wants to be.
That ending though...not cool!
I think this was a fantastic beginning to Lawson and Harper's books!
